Purpose: The use of e-Samsat services in East Java has not been significant in the amount of use of its services for tax payments as a whole. The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors East Java e-Samsat services practice and the existence of recommendations as a basis for government decisions to improve the quality of East Java e-Samsat services. Research design, data and methodology: Our model hypothesizes that three key factors determine the intention to use e-samsat platform such as: trust, awareness, ease to use. Data collection methods by distributing questionnaires and interviews. Results: The results of the study provide two findings, firstly, Trust, Ease of Use, Awareness directly or indirectly affects the Intention to Use the East Java e-Samsat service for motor vehicle taxpayers. Thus it is essential to pay attention to these three variables in terms of clarity, reliability, and timeliness as a recommendation to improve the quality of East Java e-Samsat services.. Conclusions: The results of this study can be applied and developed in other countries besides Indonesia with the same cultural patterns. Several variables have been measured in previous studies in several Asian continent countries.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between intention to use advance directives and level of death anxiety in community-dwelling elders. Method: The participants were 200 older adults who were aged 60 or over and attended the community welfare centers. The level intention to use advance directive was measured by a questionnaire that was developed by the authors for the study. The measure by Kraus and Ellisond was administered to evaluate the level of death anxiety. Result: The average score for intention to use advance directives was $2.05{\pm}0.88$ and that of death anxiety was $6.2{\pm}2.28$. There were significant differences in the intention to use advance directives according to education levels and individual properties. Although there was no significant relationship between the intention to use advance directives and the level of death anxiety, they were negatively associated. Therefore, older adults who had lower death anxiety would tend to use advance directives. Conclusion: It would be necessary to screening the level of death anxiety to promote use of the advance directives. In addition, education programs for advance directives would be essential to consider about advance directives for their end-of-life especially for the community-dwelling elderly in Korea.
This study determined the characteristics of meal-related time use among employees living in one-person and multi-person households by conducting a comparison focused on gender and age differences. Among the questionnaires distributed to employees during the 2014 Korean Time Use Survey, 19,692 were used for final analysis. The results were as follows: First, the one-person households had shorter meal-related time use than did the multi-person households, except for the time spent having snacks and beverages. Second, meal-related time use was generally longer in non-working days than in workdays. Third, gender differences in meal-related time use were observed, with the more significant ones being the differences in time devoted to meal preparation and dishwashing. Fourth, in both the one-person and multi-person households, women spent a longer amount of time preparing meals and washing dishes than did men, but this difference was greater in multi-person households. Fifth, old individuals spend a longer time preparing meals and washing dishes than did young individuals. Policies must be enforced to improve the quality of diets in one-person households. Such households should also be provided nutrition education to increase their awareness of the importance of healthy and regular meals. Another essential requirement of policy is the provision of gender equality education for both the one-person and multi-person households.
By integrating useful insights from social cognitive theory and social capital theory, we aim to develop a model for better understanding people's behaviors related to the use of social networking sites (SNSs) and formalize the role of social capital in individuals' continuous SNS use. Propositions that emphasize the triadic interactive relationships among environmental, personal, and behavioral factors were highlighted in this study. After reviewing previous studies, in this paper we proposed the following: (1) the causation between SNS use and individuals' perceived social capital might be mutual; social capital may not only be the result of media selectivity, but could also be an essential stimulus initiating the start of using SNSs; (2) the influences of SNSs use on the generation of individuals' online social capital might be conditional upon particular patterns of use; (3) both the level of dependence on SNSs and the differentiated patterns of SNSs use vary according to individuals' perceived offline social capital and their personal characteristics, for instance, personality or self-construal, and social anxiety.

The use of the predictive analytics (PA) powered by the artificial intelligence (AI) is more important in the movie sector during the COVID-19 pandemic, because Hollywood witnessed the impact of the 'Netflix Effect' and began to invest in data and AI. Our purpose is to discover a few cases of the AI centered PA in the movie industry value chain based on five objectives of PA: Compete, grow, enforce, improve, and satisfy. Even if movie companies' interest is to predict future success for competing with over-the-tops (OTTs) at a first glance, it is observed, once they start to use the PA with the AI, they try to utilize the enhanced PA platforms for remaining four objectives. As a result, ScriptBook, Vault, Pilot, Cinelytic and Merlin Video (Merlin) are use cases for the objective 'compete.' Movio of Vista Group International and Datorama of Salesforce are use cases for the objective 'grow.' Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media (GDI) with Disney are use cases for the objective 'enforce.' Watson, Benjamin, and Greenlight Essential are use cases for the objective 'improve.' Disney Research (DR) with Simon Fraser University and California Institute of Technology is the use case for the objective 'satisfy.'
Purpose. The aim of this study was to provide Aromatherapist with analysis of correlation between MBTI personality type and scent preference of natural aroma essential oil in university students. Methods. Data was analyzed by students whom participated in the research on the scent preference of natural aroma essential oil of students from m university who accomplished to MBTI personality survey. Results. As a result, the introverted personality types more liked Peppermint and felt more intensive scent than extroverted personality types did(p=0.006). Extroverted personality types recognized Neroli as feminine scent(p=0.034) and introverted personalty types recognized Frankincense as feminine scent(p=0.045). Extroverted personality types felt that Juniper berry is exciting scent(p=0.036) and that Rosemary(p=0.044) and Lavender(p=0.030) are eco-friendly scent. And introverted personality types relatively less did than extroverted personality types. Conclusions. This study is to get a basic data of aroma preference of university students by looking into the influence that MBTI personality type affect natural aroma preference and to use this data for ease off school stress and job seekng stess and counsel the students.
Radioprotective effects of ginger essential oil (GEO) on mortality, body weight alteration, hematological parameters, antioxidant status and chromosomal damage were studied in irradiated mice. Regression analysis of survival data in mice exposed to radiation yielded LD50/30 as 7.12 and 10.14 Gy for control (irradiation alone) and experimental (GEO-treated irradiated) mice, respectively, with a dose reduction factor (DRF) of 1.42. In mice exposed to whole-body gamma-irradiation (6 Gy), GEO pre-treatment at 100 and 500 mg/kg b.wt (orally) significantly ameliorated decreased hematological and immunological parameters. Radiation induced reduction in intestinal tissue antioxidant enzyme levels such as superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase and glutathione was also reversed following administration of GEO. Tissue architecture of small intestine which was damaged following irradiation was improved upon administration of GEO. Anticlastogenic effects of GEO were studied by micronuclei assay, chromosomal aberration and alkaline gel electrophoresis assay. GEO significantly decreased the formation of micronuclei, increased the P/N ratio, inhibited the formation of chromosomal aberrations and protected agaisnt cellular DNA damage in bone marrow cells as revealed by comet assay. These results are supportive of use of GEO as a potential radioprotective compound.
A review of factors influencing grass and clover establishment, survival and yield at oversowing was made from the experimental results of home and abroad. The following conclusions are considered: (1) The existing vegetation present at oversowing appeared to be the most critical factor reducing establishment and survival of grass. Therefore, it is essential to check competition from the native vegetation before oversowing. (2) Although lime had comparatively little effect on yield of grassland, the general effect of lime should be more emphasized under our acid soil conditions to promote the availability of all the essential elements and the growth of microorganisms, and to reduce the toxic effects of nutrients. One to two tons of lime per ha at oversowing would be useful. (3) Phosphorus is one of the nutrients most generally deficient in grassland soils of Korea, consequently, this nutrients applied at oversowing is very effective. Application as much as 200kg of phosphorus per ha would be essential. (4) The effect of nitrogen on the establishment and survival of grass depends on the amount and density of the herbage present. The use of nitrogen in dense herbage adversely affected grass establishment and survival, possible because the fertilizer stimulated the growth of the eisting herbage. Around 40kg of nitrogen per ha may be enough at oversowing (5) Potassium is not as universally deficient in soils of native grassland as phosphorus. Therefore, it cannot be over-emphasized at oversowing. Studies determinig the optimum amount of potassium at of oersowing are needed.
In the digital age, a lot of agricultural R&D is based on data. However, genetic resources are still essential for basic research and agricultural development. Accordingly, many countries are making great efforts to secure various genetic resources. In Korea, the National Agrobiodiversity Center (NAC) has more than 270,000 plant genetic resources so far as part of its efforts. In order to efficiently use the resources for agricultural R&D, it is essential to determine the genotypes of the resources. For this, it is essential to build a system for mass genotyping. For this, sorghum were selected as a model crop considering the genome size, the high-quality reference genome, and the number of resources. To efficiently determine the genotype data from many genetic resources, we developed a GATK pipeline that works efficiently on HPC. The pipeline efficiently and rapidly determined 769 genotypes of 410 genetic resources. Going forward, our team will continue to work to determine genotypes of over a thousand sorghum resources, and the data will be released at the National Agricultural Biotechnology Information Center (NABIC) in order to be used in agricultural R&D.
The objectives of this study are to explain the use of media materials in school health education with other related factors in elementary, middle, and high schools in Korea. The data were collected by questionnaires from June to September in 1998. The number of subjects were 294 school nurses. The PC-SAS program was used for statistical analysis such as percent distribution, chi-squared test, spearman correlation test, and logistic regression. The use of media materials in health education has become extremely common. Unfortunately, much of the early materials were of poor production quality, reflected low levels of interest, and generally did little to enhance health education programming. A recent trend in media materials is a move away from the fact filled production to a more affective, process-oriented approach. There is an obvious need for health educators to use high-quality, polished productions in order to counteract the same levels of quality used by commercial agencies that often promote "unhealthy" lifestyles. Health educators need to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of the various forms of media. Selecting media materials should be based on more than cost, availability, and personal preference. Selection should be based on the goal of achieving behavioral objectives formulated before the review process begins. The decision to use no media materials rather than something of dubious quality usually be the right decision. Poor-quality, outdated, or boring materials will usually have a detrimental effect on the presentation. Media materials should be viewed as vehicles to enhance learning, not products that will stand in isolation. Process of materials is an essential part of the educational process. The major results were as follows : 1. The elementary schools used the materials more frequently. But the production rate of media materials was not enough. The budget was too small for a wide use of media materials in school health education. These findings suggest that all schools have to increase the budget of health education programs. 2. Computers offer an incredibly diverse set of possibilities for use in health education, ranging from complicated statistical analysis to elementary-school-level health education games. But the use rate of this material was not high. The development of related software is essential. Health educators would be well advised to develop a basic operating knowledge of media equipment. 3. In this study, the most effective materials were films in elementary school and videotapes in middle and high school. Film tends to be a more emotive medium than videotape. The difficulties of media selection involved the small amount of extant educational materials. Media selection is a multifaceted process and should be based on a combination of sound principles. 4. The review of material use following student levels showed that the more the contents were various, the more the use rate was high. 5. Health education videotapes and overhead projectors proved the most plentiful and widest media tools. The information depicted was more likely to be current. As a means to display both text and graphic information, this instructional medium has proven to be both effective and enduring. 6. An analysis of how effective the quality of school nurse and school use of media materials shows a result that is not complete (p=0.1113). But, the budget of health education is a significant variable. The increase of the budget therefore is essential to effective use of media materials. From these results it is recommended that various media materials be developed and be wide used.
