Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of Abelmoschus manihot (A-M) on the facial skin by observing the changes in the skin caused by continuous use of the essence containing A-M. Methods : Fifty-one participants were enrolled, 38 were classified as experimental group and 13 were classified as control group. Before the beginning of the test, the skin condition of the participants was investigated with the facial analyzer. An essence containing A-M was provided to the experimental group, and an essence base not containing Abelmoschus manihot was provided to the control group. Participants were asked to use the product in the morning and evening after washing their face. We checked the skin change status every 2 weeks and performed the test 3 times for 6 weeks. Results : In the case of t-zone oil and pores, there was a significant decrease in the experimental group. In the case of moisture, a significant increase was observed in the control group, but the significance was significantly increased when the essence containing A-M was used. In the case of elasticity, it was found that the experimental group continued to increase with the period of use. Conclusion : It is thought that the essence containing A-M will be effective in preventing skin aging through the reduction of t-zone oil, the size of the pores, and the increase in moisture and elasticity.

The present study was to investigate the effects of different types of conditioner on the morphological changes of hair cuticles after coloring treatment. The virgin hair, aged 22 years served as a subject. Coloring treatment was done with a commercial hair dye agent for 35 minutes as routine procedures at $25^{\circ}C$, 50% R.H. environmental condition. The two different types of conditioner, Essence and LPP were applied to the colored hair 10 times with 2 days interval for 20 days. The hair cuticles were observed by a scanning electron micro scopy before and after coloring and conditioner treatment. The main results were as follows. Coloring treatment damaged the hair cuticles, and both of Essence and LPP had a direct conditioning effect. Also, the damaged hair cuticles were recovered by the repeated application of hair conditioner. Moreover, LPP was more effective in hair curing compared to Essence. These results show that a hair conditioner can be helpful to keep healthy hair and to shorten an interval of coloring.

In this study, I investigated physiology and pathology of the kidney and then researched deficiency of the kidney-nourishing the Eum music therapy to apply for clinical use, because symptoms such as chronic fatigue, morbus asthenia, anxiety, dizziness, tinnitus, and amnesia are prevalent in our modern societies. These symptoms are due to deficiency of the kidney. The kidney stores vital essence and has a function to keep activities as motive power. If the kidney is abnormal in storing the essence and holding Gi, various symptoms like dizziness, tinnitus, amnesia are caused by deficiency of the kidney. In deficiency of the kidney-nourishing the Eum music therapy, Water-Gi music which can store the essence is mainly used. In case of patients with deficiency of the kidney, dizziness, tinnitus, and amnesia, we can make use of NO.3, BWV 1068, Air of J.S.Bach and Jinyangjo of Geomungo. If there are flaring-up and fidgetiness due to deficiency of vital essence, Earth-Gi music that can help the vigor of spleen and stomach should be used prior to Water-Gi music. In the concrete, Hahyeondodeuri of Yeongsanhoesang played on Geomungo can be used. The tinnitus is caused by wind-heat and fire in the gallbladder. It is good to nourish the Eum through Water-Gi music after dispelling pathogens through Jajinmori among Gayageum sanjo.

Objectives : The aim of this study was to show the rationale of point-selection on the methods of acupuncture and moxibustion in the Essence of life section(in the Naegyeong Chapter) of the Donguibogam. Methods : First, We summarized the cause of each disease in the Essence of life section(in the Naegyeong Chapter) of the Donguibogam. Then, we explained the rationale of acupuncture point-selection referring to the cause of disease, physiology of the Oriental medicine, other uses of each acupuncture points in the Donguibogam, character of each acupuncture points, flow of meridian pathways and specific acupuncture points etc. Results and Conclusions : Total 12 acupuncture points were used in the Essence of life section(in the Naegyeong Chapter) of the Donguibogam. Most of acupuncture points were specific acupuncture points. But, some rationale of acupuncture point-selection were explained by the cause of disease, physiology of the Oriental medicine, other uses of each acupuncture points in the Donguibogam, flow of meridian pathways etc.

However, the church is not developing and responding enough to the Corona era, and it is shaking the existence of the church itself. The essence of the church consists of worship, evangelism, education, service, and companionship. In the era of Corona, where non-face-to-face safety is important, the essence does not change, but efforts to embody the essence of the church in a socially responsible manner are needed. This paper discusses the social responsibility of the church in this respect, focusing on the five essential elements of the church. To this end, we examine the essential elements of the church and study the implementation methods suitable for the Corona era.

This paper analysis Daesoon thoughts of three essence Sung, Kyoung, Sin in the traditional confucianism emphasis in the distinct ethical implications of religious meaning. Daesoon thoughts basically background on the supreme god sangje of religious faith. Here's sangje is as Daesoonjinrihoe religious order of the supreme god, to achieve the human religious daeyeoksa come world ingyeoksin which means gangjeungsan. Thus, Daesunjinri start come world gangjeungsan which is believe sangje, as Tenet. Faith and purpose degree all around having religious denomination, see based on the attitude of religious faith. So Daesunjinri of tenet doctrine that corresponds to the three essence which is Sung, Kyoung, Sin of understand also need to explanation is based on religious attitude. Three essence is three important truth or meaning of three important clause, to possess all the religious attitude of Christian said. Always said to hearty funeral of hearts (誠), the fear of spirits and honor the Emperor(敬), one strong gangjeungsan do not doubt believed that the Emperor(信) is that. Thus in the text, Daesoon thoughts of Sung, Kyoung. Sin as by analyzing the religious dimension, Daesunjinri is to achieve the tenet doctrine. Jaeum-Dan was reported new anti-aging effect formula previously. We investigated the physiological effects on human skin with Jaeum-Dan essence (JED). We made a skin application product as essence form contained oriental herbs, and measured various physiological effects such as skin moisture contents, red blood cell flow rates, skin surface temperature, corneocyte exfoliation and skin intensity when volunteers(female, n=40) used the application product for 4 weeks. The results were as follows: The skin moisture contents were not only increased in human face skin through using the product, but also red blood cell flow :rates in face skin were increased. After using the essence, the face skin temperature rose and corneocyte exfoliation was decreased. Furthermore the upper dermis intensity of skin in female face was subsequently increased 4 weeks later. The results indicate that the application product containing JED was improved the physiological effects of human facial skin..

This is the study on causes and remedies of hearing disturbance in chinese medical journals(1991-1993). The results were as follows. 1. The causes of sudden deafness(突發性耳聾) were usually fire in the liver(肝火).phlegmatic fire(痰火), deficiency of the vital function and essence of the kidney(腎虛), blood stasis or sludge due to stagnation of vital energy stagnation(氣滯血瘀). Remove endogenous heat or fire method(淸瀉火熱法). circulation of phlegm and dampness(運化痰濕). using tonics to cure disease due to deficiency of vital essence of both the liver and the kidney(滋補肝腎) were used for each treatment. 2.The causes of menieres disease were usually mental disturbance due to phlegmatit fire(痰化上搖). dampness-phlegm long standing(痰濕內停), water-dampness retention(水濕停滯), Method of remove heat and circulation phlegm(淸熱化痰法), method of remove water and dampness(利水渗濕法), invigorate function of the spleen and circulation of dampness method(健脾化濕法) were used for each treatment. 3. The causes of toxico-deafness(中毒性 耳聾) were usually heart, liver and kidney functional weakness(心肝腎虛), vital essence and blood weakness(氣血虛弱). Remove obstruction in the flow and circulation phlegm(通窮化痰), reinforce vital energy and tonify blood (補氣活血), using tonics to cure disease due to deficiency of vital essence of both the liver and the kidney(滋補肝腎) were used for each treatment. 4. The causes of deafness (耳聾), tinitus(耳鳴) were usually mental disturbance due to wind and heat(風熱上搖). flaming up of excessive heat of the liver(肝火上亢). exhaustion seat of reproductive essence in kidney(腎精虧虛). Remove endogenous heat and disperse wind(淸熱疏風). remove the fire of liver(淸肝瀉火), through nourish kidney check exuberance of yang(滋腎潛陽), nourish kidney yang(補腎陽). replenish vital energy and improve essential substance(益精血), blood activate for treatment of blood stasis(活血化瘀) were used for each treatment. 5. The effects of mainly used drugs were classified into method of water and dampness remove medicine(利水渗濕藥), nourishing liver and kidney medicine(補肝腎藥), improve blood and vital energy activate medicine(活血行氣藥), through nourish yan medicine check exuberance of yang(滋陰潛陽藥).

The purpose of this research is to investigate the essence and directions of the library and information science education in Korea. For this purpose, first, the introduction and development of library and information science education in Korea was examined in this research; Second, the problems in the library field as well as the academic community of library and information science are analyzed; Third, based on these findings, the essence and directions of developing library and information science education are explored. In this research, an attempt was made to figure out the essence of library science education with the focus on libraries as 'the quality as a facility', not as 'a facility itself.' Furthermore, it was emphasized that Korean Library Association should establish the essence of library and information science education, develop the standard program for educating professional librarians, and improve the certification system and educational institutions for librarians by connecting the library field with the academic community of library and information science.

This study conceptualized the essence and propensity of modern management in service age, based on philosophy, and developed items to evaluate the conceptualized content. It was carried out as a new study to deepen the study of management philosophy and management theory by the new management framework. In order to establish the philosophical foundation of the modern management, the essence of the modern management was conceptualized based on the fundamental ideas of the East and West, and then an evaluation item was developed to put the essence and propensity of the modern management into practical use through analytical and empirical methods. After analyzing the representative ideas of mankind, it was derived that the Book of Change has the qualification as a philosophical model that can derive the essence of modern management. The Book of Change explains the reasoning of the world in the structure of two opposing parties, such as Taiji or Yin and Yang, and the process of acknowledging the contradictions within each opposing party and overcoming the contradictions through change is the central idea. Because you can see. After conducting a conceptual study, through empirical research, the essence and propensity of a modern manager should be conceptualized. The concept of essence and empirical study of the modern management using the leading role was conducted in two stages. First, a qualitative study using repetitive comparative analysis (CCM), focus group interview (FGI), and text mining was conducted to derive the essential and propensity conceptualization items that modern managers should possess. In addition, a quantitative study using factor analysis to develop sample items and develop measurement items through literature review and FGI was conducted to derive the essential concept of the modern management. Finally, the essence of modern management was derived: learning, preparation, challenge, inclusion, trust, morality, and sacrifice. In the future, it is necessary to conduct empirical research on the effectiveness of the essence of modern management for global and Korean representative companies.
