3차원 TDOA 위치 측정 시스템에서 음향 센서의 위치 오차에 따른 PDOP에 관한 연구 (A Study on PDOP due to the Position Error of Acoustic Sensors in the 3D TDOA Positioning System)

  • 많은 사용자가 항상 휴대하는 스마트폰을 대상으로 실내에서의 위치 인식을 위한 기술 개발이 매우 활발하다. 특히 음향 신호를 이용한 TDOA 방식의 위치 측정 시스템도 많이 연구되고 있는데, 이 방식은 스마트폰의 스피커와 음향 신호를 수신하기 위한 위치 측정 장치에 설치된 마이크들 사이의 거리를 측정하고 관련 쌍곡선 수식을 계산하여 스마트폰의 위치를 추정하는 것이다. 그러나 스피커와 각 마이크 사이의 거리를 측정하는 것에 항상 오차가 있고, 게다가 위치 측정 장치에 설치된 음향 센서인 마이크의 설치 위치 오차에 따라서 위치 측정 오차가 매우 크게 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 TDOA 위치 측정 시스템에서 음향 센서의 위치 오차에 따른 위치 측정 오차가 PDOP 시뮬레이션과 실험으로 분석되었다.

블록 정합오차 예측을 이용한 고속 PDE 알고리즘 (Fast PDE Algorithm Using Block Matching Error Prediction)

  • 본 논문은 고속 PDE 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존 PDE 알고리즘이 부분 정합오차를 이용해 후보블록의 나머지 정합 과정을 생략할 수 없을 때 제안된 알고리즘은 계산된 부분 정합오차로부터 예측된 블록 정합오차를 이용해 다시 한번 나머지 정합 과정을 생략하는 것을 평가한다. 예측된 블록 정합오차는 부분 정합오차보다 항상 크므로 제안된 알고리즘은 기존 PDE보다 일찍 불가능한 후보 블록을 제거할 수 있다. 모의 실험의 결과들은 제안된 알고리즘이 기존 PDE 정도의 화질을 유지하면서 계산량을 크게 줄여주는 것을 보여준다.

  • In Human Reliability Analysis(HRA), the uncertainties involved in many factors that affect human reliability have to be represented as the quantitative forms. Conventional probability- based human reliability theory is used to evaluate the effect of those uncertainties but it is pointed out that the actual human reliability should be different from that of conventional one. Conventional HRA makes use of error rates, however, it is difficult to collect data enough to estimate these error rates, and the estimates of error rates are dependent only on engineering judgement. In this paper, the error possibility that is proposed by Onisawa is used to represent human reliability, and the error possibility is obtained by use of fuzzy reasoning that plays an important role to clarify the relation between human reliability and human error. Also, assuming these factors are connected to the top event through Fault Tree structure, the influence and correlation of these factors are measured by fuzzy operation. When a fuzzy operation is applied to Fault Tree Analysis, it is possible to simplify the operation applying the logic disjuction and logic conjuction to structure function, and the structure of human reliability can be represented as membership function of the top event. Also, on the basis of the the membership function, the characteristics of human reliability can be evaluated by use of the concept of pattern recognition.

세 개의 트랜스폰더로 이루어진 장기선 위치추적장치의 민감도 해석 (Sensitivity Analysis of Long Baseline System with Three Transponders)

  • Underwater acoustic navigation systems are classified into three systems: ultra-short baseline (USBL), short baseline (SBL), and long baseline (LBL). Because the USBL system estimates the angle of a submersible, the estimation error becomes large if the submersible is far from the USBL transducer array mounted under a support vessel. SBL and LBL systems estimate submersible's location more accurately because they have wider distribution of measuring sensors. Especially LBL systems are widely used as a navigation system for deep ocean applications. Although it is most accurate system it still has estimation errors because of noise, measurement error, refraction and multi-path of acoustic signal, or wrong information of the distributed transponders. In this paper the estimation error of the LBL system are analyzed from a point of sensitivity. It is assumed that the error exists only in the distance between a submersible and the transponders. For this purpose sensitivity of the estimated position with respect to relative distances between them is analyzed. The result says that estimation error is small if the submersible is close to transponders but not near the ocean bottom.

  • 뱅크턴을 수행하는 항공기에 운용되는 관성항법장치의 특정 자이로 비정렬 오차가 수직축 자세오차를 연속적으로 증가시키는 현상에 대해서 분석을 수행하고, 이 자이로 비정렬 오차를 제거하기 위해 GPS을 결합한 INS/GPS 시스템에 대해서 새로운 비정렬 모델링 방법을 제시하고, 그 성능 향상을 시뮬레이션을 통해 제시한다.

  • A practical recursive WLS (weighted least squares) algorithm is proposed to estimate relative range using LOS (line-of-sight) information for ASM (anti-ship missile) application. Apart from the previous approaches based on the EKF (extended Kalman filter), to ensure good convergence properties in long range engagement situations, the proposed scheme utilizes LOS rate measurements instead of conventionally used LOS angle measurements. The estimation error property for the proposed filter is investigated and a simple error compensator is devised to enhance its estimation error performances. Simulation results indicate that the proposed filter produces very accurate range estimates with extremely small computations.

  • This paper proposes an Intelligent Speed Estimator in order to realize the speed-sensorless vector control of an induction motor. Intelligent Speed Estimator used Model Reference Adaptive System which has Fuzzy-Neural adaptive mechanism as Speed Estimation method. The Intelligent Speed Estimator estimates the speed of an induction motor with a rotor flux of a reference model and adjustable model in MRAS. The Intelligent Speed Estimator reduces the error of the rotor flux between the voltage flux model and the current flux model using the error and the change of error as input of the Estimator. The computer simulation is executed to verify the propriety and the effectiveness of the proposed speed estimator.

  • Volatility plays a crucial role in theory and applications of asset pricing, optimal portfolio allocation, and risk management. This paper proposes a combined model of autoregressive moving average (ARFIMA), generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (GRACH), and skewed-t error distribution to accommodate important features of volatility data; long memory, heteroscedasticity, and asymmetric error distribution. A fully Bayesian approach is proposed to estimate the parameters of the model simultaneously, which yields parameter estimates satisfying necessary constraints in the model. The approach can be easily implemented using a free and user-friendly software JAGS to generate Markov chain Monte Carlo samples from the joint posterior distribution of the parameters. The method is illustrated by using a daily volatility index from Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). JAGS codes for model specification is provided in the Appendix.

  • The purpose of this paper is to determine the optimal values of the gain parameters used in the tracking module for a highly dynamic warship. The algorithm of the tracking module uses the ${\alpha}-{\beta}-{\gamma}$ filter to compute accurate estimates and update the state variables, that is, positions, velocity and acceleration. The filtering coefficients ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ and ${\gamma}$ are determined from set values of the damping parameter, ${\xi}$. Optimization is achieved by plotting a range of the damping parameter ${\xi}$ against the corresponding residual error and then selecting the best value of ${\xi}$ with the minimum residual error. Optimal values of the smoothing coefficients are subsequently computed from the selected damping parameter, ${\xi}$.

일축압축강도에 의한 선행압밀응력 예측 및 분석 (Prediction and Analysis of Pre-Consolidation by Unconfined Compressive Strength)

  • This study was to evaluate the feasibility of pre-consolidation pressure distribution characteristic of western and southern coastal region, using correlation of unconfined compressive strength and preceding research equation. Pre-consolidation of western and southern region showed similar trends undrained shear strength and pre-consolidation pressure in proportion to unconfined compressive strength. Predicted results of U.S. NAVY. (1982) equation revealed a small error western 9.7 % and southern 0.4 %. Prediction correlation results of pre-consolidation using unconfined compressive strength revealed an error western 16.8 % and southern 0.7 %. It was reported that less than 20 percent of pre-consolidation pressure prediction result of Casagrande forecasting error. Estimates of pre-consolidation pressure are possible, before the standard consolidation test, because it was reported that less than 20 % of the forecasting errors of Casagrande.
