공학설계입문 운영사례를 통한 설계과제 평가기준 탐색 (A Study on Evaluation Criteria of Design Project though a Case Study of Introduction to Engineering Design Course)

  • This paper explores and proposes the evaluation criteria of design projects in the entry-level design course. In the entry-level engineering design course the students proceeds various design projects to understand the concept of engineering design process and to develop the creativity. The evaluation criteria of design projects is very important component because the outcome of students in the engineering design course are effected from the evaluation criteria that enforces the students to focus on doing their task. According to this case study the evaluation criteria can be good solution to evaluate the design projects. By the outcome standard of ABEEK on the entry-level engineering design course the evaluation criteria was selected with the results of design projects such as design plan, report, handicrafts, objectives.

기술검토회의 진입조건 분석 및 적용 (Analysis of Technical Review Entry Criteria and Application)

  • This paper analyze technical review entry criteria and review process based on system property, and review checklist to conform technical review is also showed. The execution of review is determined according to the preparation of review item and identification for risk element. Risk level should be mitigated before technical review by appropriate plan. This paper described the entering condition of technical review for developmental phase, and tailoring consideration for technical review condition. Described technical review entry criteria, review process, and tailoring consideration is applied to development of test equipment for ground ant-air missile system. Applied system specific technical review process, tailored entry condition for test equipment for ground ant-air missile system and review check list is showed and the effectiveness of described system specific technical review process is presented.

독일목록규칙의 기본기입선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Choice of Main Entry in German Cataloging Rules; a comparison with the title entry in the Orient)

  • This study reviews the development and change of main entry principle in German cataloging codes, with special emphasis on RAK. With rerard to the functions of catalog, comparison between the traditional title main entry in the Orient and author main entry in the West has been made. The analysis confirms in this study that various criteria in choice of the entries in RAK have been adopted. In case of works where the persons who have played different roles in the works are named on the title page, as well as related works and works of mixed responsibility, the criteria of entry determination are complex and time consuming process and have no absolute value. And there are also various kinds of problems in corporate entries including confirmation of originator(Urheber), choice of either the territorial authority corncerned or corporate bodies as an entry depending on the nature of the publications, and a unique bibliographical situation of treaties. This means the code is absence of absolute value in selecting entries, and this results in adoption of main entry principle which has lost its significance for the purpose of cataloging. With emergence of the ISBD and actualization of automated cataloging, morever, all entries are equal as points of access. It would eliminate the need for personal judgements required in choice of main entry by the present code. In doing so, it would bring uniformity and standardization to cataloging practice. In direct approach to works, title entry is more developed finding device than author entry in cataloging theories. Thus introduction of unit card system beginning with title which is adopted in KCR3 would be desirable, the complicated rules for the choice of entry could be abandoned from cataloging codes. Most of the user studies show that catalog users have placed higher value on the title entry as a finding device and each entry is equal as access points through unit entry. This means that choice of a given entry as a main entry is unnecessary in cataloging codes. Title entry would be a rather simple standard and direct approach for works. This study proves that the traditional title entry of Korea is superior to author main entry in the Western world in cataloging theory. Thus recommendation to be made is that abandonment of author main entry from cataloging codes should be considered in the future.

고속도로 휴게소 연결로 설계 기준 설정에 관한 연구 (A Development of the Design Guidelines for Connecting Roads in Highway Rest Area)

  • PURPOSES: Design of approach roads of rest areas in highway has many drawbacks such as geometric design elements. There has been traffic accidents occured in these approach roads of rest areas. Thus, design criteria is required in order to protect accidents from being occurred. In case of Korea, geometric structure design criteria of entry facilities, such as toll-gate, interchange, junction etc was established. However there are no presence in a detailed standards for geometric structure of the rest area which affiliated road facilities. METHODS: In this study, analytic on accidents was carried out in regards to the entry of geometric structure of resting areas by utilizing a sight survey and an investigation research of traffic accidents. The survey was targeting 135 general service areas. Collisions with physical channelization and safety facilities occurred due to speeding, rapid entry, and etc at the entrance nose section. At the entrance connector roads, accidents caused by speeding, negligence, over-operation of handle of drivers were main reason of accidents. Discriminant analysis were conducted about geometric elements to distinguish influencing factors for traffic accidents. the lengths and access angles of the entrance connector roads were regarded as to have the high relation with traffic accidents. RESULTS: After classifying the design section of resting areas' entry as well as derive design elements on each section, a speed measurement by targeting entry of rest areas and car behavior surveys were performed, then each element's minimum standard was derived through the analyses. According to the speeds at the starting/end point of entrance connector road, the range of the junction setting angle of the entrance connector road is defined as $12^{\circ}{\sim}17^{\circ}$ and the connector length model was suggested. CONCLUSIONS: Suggest improvement plans for existing rest areas that can be applied realistically. This should be corresponded to the standards of entry and exit of developed rest areas.

함정 및 함정탑재 무기체계 연구개발사업의 설계단계 진입조건 검토 개선 방향 (A study on the Improvement Direction of Design Phase Entry Criteria Review for Naval Surface Ships & Onboard Weapon Systems R&D Project)

  • In principle, R&D of general weapons systems are led by companies or government-funded organizations. In terms of project execution, the defense R&D planning system was reorganized to conduct SE-based project management by integrating the naval ship project execution procedure into the general weapon system R&D procedure. The development progress was confirmed according to the guide for SE application of DAPA, and a technical review meeting was proposed to enter into the each next phase in the R&D process. This paper focuses on improvement for technical review in terms of technical management based on system engineering for R&D mounted weapon systems and the naval surface ship project in preliminary design and detailed design. So, the improvement direction for reviewing the entry criteria for the R&D weapons systems of the naval ship and mounted weapons is proposed.

교통안전을 고려한 고속도로 휴게소 설계기준 개발 (Developing Design Guidelines for Rest Area Based on the Traffic Safety)

  • 휴게소 진 출입부는 설계속도 등이 급변하는 구간으로 교통안전 취약구간이며 특히, 휴게소 진입부는 감속과 주차공간 검색 두 가지 작업이 동시에 수행되므로 이용차량의 안전성을 확보할 수 있는 설계기준이 필요하다. 국내의 경우 영업소나 나들목, 분기점 같은 출입시설에 대한 기하구조 기준은 수립되어 있는 반면, 도로의 부속시설인 휴게소에 대한 상세한 기하구조 기준은 없는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 일반형 휴게소 135개소를 대상으로 한 현장조사 및 사고조사 자료를 활용하여 휴게소진 출입부 기하구조에 대한 문제점을 도출하였다. 휴게소 진 출입부의 설계구간을 분류하고 각 구간에 대한 설계요소를 도출한 후, 휴게소 진 출입부를 대상으로 속도조사 및 차량주행행태 조사를 수행하고 분석을 통해 설계요소별 최소 기준을 도출하였다. 진입 연결로의 시/종점 속도에 따라 감속거리 산정식을 이용하여 진입 연결로의 최소길이는 40m를 제안하였고, 주행행태를 기반으로 선형 안전성 평가를 통해 접속 설치각은 12~$17^{\circ}$를 제안하였다. 개발된 휴게소 진입부 설계기준은 신설되는 휴게소 뿐만 아니라 기존 휴게소에 대해 현실적으로 적용 가능한 개선방안을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

AHP 분석도구 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of AHP Analytic Tools)

  • Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a systematic and objective decision method that stratifies multiple criteria to determine various evaluation factors' order of priority. Since AHP requires several stages of analysis with complicated attributes, they normally rely on computer programs for the execution of such analyses. However, the existing AHP analytic tools carry the inconvenience of having to repeatedly input massive amounts data generated in every stage. This repetitious data entry process results in prolonged analysis times and higher possibility of errors, leading to decreased reliability of the results. Thus, in this study, we develop an analytic tool that effectively simplifies the data entry process in AHP analysis, for the purpose of reducing analysis times and increasing the reliability of the results.

고속도로 졸음쉼터 제원 산정 및 설계기준 정립에 관한 연구 (Development of Specifications and Design Criteria of Rest Area for Drowsy Drivers)

  • 본 연구는 고속도로 졸음쉼터 현황 조사 및 문제점 도출을 통해 졸음쉼터의 제원 산정 및 설계기준 수립을 위한 개선안 제시를 목적으로 한다. 고속도로 졸음쉼터 진입부를 감속변이구간, 감속차로, 진입연결로로 분류하고, 진출부는 진출연결로, 가속차로, 가속변이구간으로 분류하여 차량의 본선 주행속도, 진출입연결로의 시 종점부 주행속도, 감속도 및 가속도 등을 고려하여 구간별 적정길이를 산정하였다. 또한 졸음쉼터 주차부를 주차형태, 횡단구성 주차공간의 길이 등으로 구분하고, 실제 졸음쉼터를 이용하는 차량의 이용률, 중차량 비율, 졸음쉼터 내 설계속도 등을 고려하여 합리적인 설계기준을 정립하였다. 본 연구를 통해 제시된 고속도로 졸음쉼터 설계기준은 향후 졸음쉼터 계획 및 재정비 시 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 고속도로 졸음쉼터의 규정 및 산정 결과를 고려한 졸음쉼터의 설치기준 정립은 휴게시설 및 고속도로 교통사고 예방은 물론 이용률 증가 및 안전성 측면의 향상을 가져올 것으로 판단된다.

가상시나리오를 활용한 의과대학 학사편입학 지원자의 윤리적 의사결정능력 (Ethically Related Decisions in Different Scenarios of Medical School Applicants for Graduate-Entry Program)

  • Assessment tools for non-academic qualities such as ethics frequently employ hypothetical scenarios to lay out a contextual framework underlying the corresponding criteria of assessment. Due to the context-specific nature of the assessment criteria, details of the scenarios become very important in obtaining accurate results. This study aims to explore how medical school applicants differ in ethical decision making depending on the types of ethical dilemma scenarios, and how they correlate with academic achievements after admission. In 2014, all 82 applicants invited for an admission interview for a graduate-entry program were asked to complete a questionnaire comprised of 13 hypothetical scenarios. There were three domains (unethical business decisions, unethical academic decisions, and sexual quid pro quos) and participants were made to choose between the profitable-but-unethical choice or the unprofitable-but-ethical choice, using a four-point Likert-type scale. On average, tendencies toward unethical decisions were lowest for sexual favors ($1.34{\pm}0.46$), and highest for gaining academic advantages ($2.22{\pm}0.56$). Unethical decisions for academic advantages and sexual benefits showed significant correlation respectively with the female gender and those who graduated from overseas universities. In addition, the propensity for choosing unethical academic decisions was significantly correlated with high academic achievements in medical school (r=0.396). Not only does this study demonstrate that different levels of ethical decision making depend on the scenarios, but also those differences may be a determinant factor in subsequent academic performances in medical school. In conclusion, given the possible influence of the details of the hypothetical scenarios to the applicant's responses, careful consideration must be given during their development.

회전교차로의 서비스수준 기준 정립 연구 (A Study of Level of Service Criteria for Roundabouts)

  • 국내에서 제정된 도로용량편람(2001)은 무통제 교차로와 양방향정지 교차로의 서비스수준 분석 방법만을 제시하고 있으며, 회전교차로 서비스수준 분석 방법에 대해서는 다루고 있지 않을 뿐만 아니라, 회전교차로라는 명칭조차 포함하고 있지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 회전교차로를 위한 적정한 효과척도를 선정하고, 시뮬레이션 분석을 통하여 서비스수준의 기준을 정립하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 우선 적절한 효과척도(MOE)를 선정하는 방법을 고찰하고, 서비스수준을 개발하는 수순으로 연구를 수행하였다. 회전교차로에 적용할 효과척도로 진입교통량, v/c비, 평균차량지체로 선정되었으며, 선정된 효과척도를 토대로 VISSIM을 이용하여 서비스수준의 기준을 정립하였다. 연구결과, 지방지역 1차로 회전교차로에서의 서비스수준 F의 진입교통량은 1,700pcph이며, 평균차량지체는 18초로 분석되었다. 서비스수준 A에 대해서 진입교통량은 700pcph이며, 이때 평균차량지체는 3초, v/c비는 0.41로 분석되었다. 지방지역 2차로 회전교차로는 서비스수준 F의 진입교통량은 2,900pcph이며, 평균차량지체는 31초로 분석되었다. 서비스수준 A인 경우 진입교통량은 1,500pcph이며, 이때 평균차량지체는 8초, v/c비는 0.52로 분석되었다.
