  • Round atelectasis is an uncommon benign pulmonary condition not relevant to neoplastic or inflammatory lung disease, usually presenting as a peripheral parenchymal round mass density on a chest roentgenogram. Recently, authors experienced one patient with this disease entity associated with spontaneous pneumothorax who was treated surgically with a successful outcome. The case is thought to be the first documented report of round atelectasis in Korea.

  • Mobile computing system requires both precise identification and secure authentication scheme on remote mobile entities, which is based on the distributed mobile node. In this paper, existing discrete logarithm based $Schnorr^{[7]}$ like entity authentication schemes are improved by the analysis of performance and security on the hi-directional interactive proofs. And $EIGamal^{[14]}$ like efficient authentication schemes are also proposed. Then, these are enhanced with oblivious transfer based mono directional authentication schemes based on trusted third party for applying to the mobile agent based computing systems. Therefore, proposed schemes provide compatible performance and safety on mobile entity authentication processes.

  • Cricopharyngeal dysphagia(CPD), a common condition in the dysphagic patient, refers to the dysfunction of the upper esophageal sphincter complex(UESC), which is composed of the cricopharyngeus, inferior pharyngeal constrictor and the upper segment of the cervical esophagus. Primary CPD is the disease entity solely confined to dysfunctional UESC, while secondary CPD encompasses various conditions that accompany UESC dysfunction. For proper diagnosis and treatment of such entity, a thorough understanding of the complex anatomy and physiology of the upper esophageal sphincter. Adequate relaxation of the cricopharyngeal muscle in conjunction with anterosuperior excursion of the larynx by suprahyoid muscles and propulsion of food bolus are prerequisite for normal swallow, mechanisms of which if altered result in cricopharyngeal dysfunction. Of the various methods used for the diagnosis of cricopharyngeal dysphagia, videofluoroscopy remains the method of choice. Mechanical dilatation of the cricopharayngeus, cricopharyngeal myotomy and botulinum toxin injection and head-lift exercise have been used in clinical practice to relieve dysphagia in such patients. Such procedures have therapeutic effect in primary CPD, but so often fail to relieve swallowing dysfunction in patient with secondary CPD. We herein explain ancillary procedures that support these primary treatment options, which lead to successful treatment of dysphagia.

  • This paper proposes a new method to recognize map. In order to minimize the ripple effect of one recognition result affecting another, the structural information is represented with a hierarchical model. and the model is used in both the recognition and verification process. Furthermore, lines related to an entity are searched in a used in both the recognition and verification process. Furthermore, lines related to an entity are searched in a reduced search space by defining some relations between lines. When there is a mis-recognition after verificaiton, recognition process will be retired. In the process, the accurate result can obtained through the change of the parameter values used in the algorithm. As a result, the search space is reduced effectively, and even objects that embodies the broken lines and the crossed lines are recognized.

  • Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma(ASPS) is a rare entity that invariably ends in death from the disseminated disease. Although the most common site of metastasis is the lung, the central nervous system is also the third common site. Its histogenesis remains to be unknown and the gold standard treatment is radically surgical removal of the mass. However, adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy are known to be less effective. The authors present a 24-year-old man who was admitted with headache and neck discomfort. Magnetic resonance( MR) imaging scans demonstrated multiple masses in the left frontal lobe, parietal lobe, and right cerebellum. The patient underwent surgery to remove multiple masses in the staged fashion. The postoperative course was uneventful, but the patient committed suicide 5 months later. The authors reviewed the pertinent literature and discussed this clinical entity with references.

  • Many methods had been developed to improve the accuracy of extracting information from a vast amount of data. This paper combined a number of natural language processing methods such as NER (named entity recognition), sentence extraction, and part of speech tagging to carry out text analysis. The data source is comprised of texts obtained from the web using a domain-specific data extraction agent. A framework for the extraction of information from unstructured data was developed using the aforementioned natural language processing methods. We simulated the performance of our work in the extraction and analysis of texts for the detection of organizational structures. Simulation shows that our study outperformed other NER classifiers such as MUC and CoNLL on information extraction.

  • The exchange of parameterized feature-based CAD models is important for product data sharing among different organizations and automation systems. The role of feature-based modeling is to gonerate the shape of product and capture design intends In a CAD system. A feature is generated by referring to topological entities in a solid. Identifying referenced topological entities of a feature is essential for exchanging feature-based CAD models through a neutral format. If the CAD data contains the modification history in addition to the construction history, a matching mechanism is also required to find the same entity in the new model (post-edit model) corresponding to the entity in the old model (preedit model). This problem is known as the persistent naming problem. There are additional problems arising from the exchange of parameterized feature-based CAD models. Authors have analyzed previous studies with regard to persistent naming and characteristics for the exchange of parameterized feature-based CAD models, and propose a solution to the persistent naming problem. This solution is comprised of two parts: (a) naming of topological entities based on the object spore information (OSI) and secondary name (SN); and (b) name matching under the proposed naming.
