  • Uniformity and performance characteristics of LTPS TFTs are important parameters for making advanced active-matrix displays. In this paper, we describe an SLS-based crystallization approach for producing orientation-controlled Si films with reduced concentrations of planar defects that stand to potentially deliver unprecedented levels of device uniformity and performance. Specifically, a 2-step process referred to as hybrid SLS has been developed that produces a variety of high-quality {100} surface-oriented Si films.

  • Effects of MHD slip flow of second grade fluid with heat transfer are studied in the presence of heat source along permeable stretching surface. The governing boundary layer equations are complex and partial in nature. Using Lie group theory the suitable similarity transformation is derived. The system of PDEs is transformed to system of ODEs by applying these similarity transformations. The combined effect of Hartman number and porosity on velocity profile and the influence of slip parameter on fluid velocity is observed. It is found that enhancing the second grade parameter, boundary layer thickens and ultimately speedup the fluid. Also, the effect of suction/injection parameter on velocity profile is checked. An excellent agreement is noticed that assures the correctness of results. Effects of various physical parameters on the velocity and temperature profile are elaborated with graphs.

  • The importance of mathematics is emerging to create new values and secure competitiveness in an intelligent information society based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This study was conducted with the aim of improving the academic performance and increasing interest of electronics majors in mathematics subjects. In order to develop learners' mathematical capabilities in major fields that utilize mathematics that electronics majors do not prefer, we have proposed a new teaching method to promote employment in mathematics-based electronics fields. In addition, to enhance learners' self-directed learning, we developed teaching methods for efficient mathematics subjects with programming languages as tools in electronics engineering and applied them to real-world teaching sites to effectively cultivate academic performance improvement of majors. Finally, we conducted a survey and statistically analyze the effectiveness of the developed teaching methods to present effective operational measures for mathematics education, an essential tool in intelligent information technology.

  • The concept of hybrid structures integrates two powerful mathematical tools: soft sets and fuzzy sets. This paper extends the application of hybrid structures to ordered hypersemigroups. We introduce the notions of hybrid interior hyperideals in ordered hypersemigroups and demonstrate their equivalence with hybrid hyperideals in certain classes, including regular, intra-regular, and semisimple ordered hypersemigroups. Furthermore, we provide a characterization of semisimple ordered hypersemigroups in terms of hybrid interior hyperideals.

  • Directionally solidified Si films obtained via line-scan SLS can lead to attainment of high-mobility TFTs. The crystallographic texture of the resultant materials can potentially be an important factor because the spatial details thereof may impact the overall device uniformity. Here, we present EBSD analysis of these materials that reveal the existence of relatively large domains with different textures and differing amounts of defects, which in turn, may adversely affect device uniformity.

  • The intention of this paper is to acquaint domination, total domination on bipolar intuitionistic fuzzy graphs. Subsequently for bipolar intuitionistic fuzzy graphs the domination number and the total domination number are defined. Consequently we proved necessary and sufficient condition for a d-set to be minimal d-set, bounds for domination number and equality conditions for domination number and order.

  • The steady hydromagnetic flow of an electrically conducting non-Newtonian fluid due to the rotation of an infinite disk is studied with heat transfer with the inclusion of the ion slip as well as Ohmic heating. The governing nonlinear momentum equations and energy equations are solved using the finite difference method. The numerical results indicate the important effect of the ion slip and the non-Newtonian fluid characteristics on the velocity and temperature distributions.
