Due to the increase in renewable energy and distributed resources, not only traditional data but also various energy-related data are being generated in the new energy industry. In other words, there are various renewable energy facilities and power generation data, system operation data, metering and rate-related data, as well as weather and energy efficiency data necessary for new services and analysis. Energy big data processing technology can systematically analyze and diagnose data generated in the first half of the power production and consumption infrastructure, including distributed resources, systems, and AMI. Through this, it will be a technology that supports the creation of new businesses in convergence between the ICT industry and the energy industry. To this end, research on the data analysis system, such as itemized characteristic analysis of the collected data, correlation sampling, categorization of each feature, and element definition, is needed. In addition, research on data purification technology for data loss and abnormal state processing should be conducted. In addition, it is necessary to develop and structure NIFI, Spark, and HDFS systems so that energy data can be stored and managed in real time. In this study, the overall energy data processing technology and system for various power transactions as described above were proposed.

Recent researches reveal that great benefit can be achieved for data gathering in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) by employing mobile data collectors. In order to balance the energy consumption at sensor nodes and prolong the network lifetime, a multi-track large-scale mobile data collection mechanism (MTDCM) is proposed in this paper. MTDCM is composed of two phases: the Energy-balance Phase and the Data Collection Phase. In this mechanism, the energy-balance trajectories, the sleep-wakeup strategy and the data collection algorithm are determined. Theoretical analysis and performance simulations indicate that MTDCM is an energy efficient mechanism. It has prominent features on balancing the energy consumption and prolonging the network lifetime.
Nowadays, domestic photovoltaic system market has been expanded and the governmental dissemination policy has been continued. There is only PV system output performance analysis which is called Performance Ratio(PR) analysis. However, there exists many parameters that can affect PV system output. This papers shows the PV system energy performance analysis using meteorological monitoring data. The meteorological monitoring system was installed in the H university and we analyzed the PV system which installed in the H university. We also investigated other three PV systems which located less than 3 kilometers from H university. We evaluated total 4 PV systems through the field survey data, design drawing data and power generation data. Finally, we compared the actual measuring data with the simulation data using PVSYST software.
The neutron induced nuclear cross-section data for Pd-105, Ag-109, Xe-131, and Cs-133 were calculated and evaluated from an unresolved energy to 20 MeV. The energy dependent optical model potential parameters were extracted based on recent experimental data and applied up to 20 MeV. A spherical optical model and a statistical model for the equilibrium energy, and a multistep direct and a multistep compound model for the pre-equilibrium energy were used in the calculation. The direct capture model was recently introduced for fast neutron capture. The theoretically calculated cross-sections were compared with the experimental data and the evaluated files. The total and capture cross-sections calculated using the model were in good agreement with the reference experimental data. The evaluated cross-section results were compiled in ENDF-6 format and merged with the resonance component, already adopted in the ENDF/B-VI release 8. New data library files covering from thermal to 20 MeV were created. They are at the preliminary stage of an ENDF/B- VII release.
This study is to analyze trends and relational structures in the energy sector related to renewable energy. For this reason, in this study, we focused on big data including SNS data. SNS utilizes the Instagram platform to collect renewable energy hash tags and use them as a word embedding method for big data analysis and social network analysis, and based on the results derived from this research, it will be used for the development of the renewable energy industry. It is expected that it can be utilized.

In this study, an SW for the analysis of the wind-turbine vibration characteristics was developed as an application of SaaS cloud infrastructure. A measurement system for power-performance, mechanical load, and gearbox vibration as type-test class was installed at a target MW-class wind turbine, and structural meta and raw data were then acquired into the cloud. Data processing algorithms were developed to provide cloud data to the SW. To operate the SW continuously, raw data was downloaded consistently based on the algorithms. During the SW test, an intermittent long time-delay occurred due to the communication load associated with frequent access to the cloud. To solve this, a compression service for the target raw data was developed in the cloud and more stable data processing was confirmed. Using the compression service, stable big data processing of wind turbines, including gearbox vibration analysis, is expected.

In the current construction industry where various stakeholders take part, BIM Data exchange using standard format can provide a more efficient working environment for related staffs during the life-cycle of the building. Currently, the formats used to exchange the data from 3D-CAD application to structure energy analysis at the design stages are IFC, the international standard format provided by IAI, and gbXML, developed by Autodesk. However, because of insufficient data compatibility, the BIM data produced in the 3D-CAD application cannot be directly used in the energy analysis, thus there needs to be additional data entry. The reasons for this are as follows: First, an IFC file cannot contain all the data required for energy simulation. Second, architects sometimes write material names on the drawings that are not matching to those in the standard material library used in energy analysis tools. DOE-2.2 and Energy Plus are the most popular energy analysis engines. And both engines have their own material libraries. However, our investigation revealed that the two libraries are not compatible. First, the types and unit of properties were different. Second, material names used in the library and the codes of the materials were different. Furthermore, there is no material library in Korean language. Thus, by comparing the basic library of DOE-2, the most commonly used energy analysis engine worldwide, and EnergyPlus regarding construction materials; this study will analyze the material data required for energy analysis and propose a way to effectively enter these using semantic web's ontology. This study is meaningful as it enhances the objective credibility of the analysis result when analyzing the energy, and as a conceptual study on the usage of ontology in the construction industry.
In order to examine how accurately the wind farm design software, WindPRO and Meteodyn WT, predict annual energy production (AEP), an investigation was carried out for Seongsan wind farm of Jeju Island. The one-year wind data was measured from wind sensors on met masts of Susan and Sumang which are 2.3 km, and 18 km away from Seongsan wind farm, respectively. MERRA (Modern-Era Retrospective Analysis for Research and Applications) reanalysis data was also analyzed for the same period of time. The real AEP data came from SCADA system of Seongsan wind farm, which was compare with AEP data predicted by WindPRO and Meteodyn WT. As a result, AEP predicted by Meteodyn WT was lower than that by WindPRO. The analysis of using wind data from met masts led to the conclusion that AEP prediction by CFD software, Meteodyn WT, is not always more accurate than that by linear program software, WindPRO. However, when MERRA reanalysis data was used, Meteodyn WT predicted AEP more accurately than WindPRO.

Distributed generation(DG) of combined cooling, heat. and power(CCHP)has been gaining momentum in recent year as efficient, secure alternative for meeting increasing energy demands. This paper presents the energy performance of microturbine CCHP system equipped with an absorption chiller by modelling it in hospital building. The orders of study were as following. 1)The list and schedule of energy consumption equipment in hospital were examined such as heating and cooling machine, light etc. 2) Annual report of energy usage and monitoring data were examined as heating, cooling, DHW, lighting, etc. 3) The weather data in 2007 was used for simulation and was arranged by meteorological office data in Daejeon. 4) Reference simulation model was built by comparison of real energy consumption and simulation result by TRNSYS and ESP-r. The energy consumption pattern of building were analyzed by simulation model and energy reduction rate were calculated over the cogeneration. As a result of this study, power generation efficiency of turbine was about 30% after installing micro gas turbine and lighting energy as well as total electricity consumption can be reduced by 40%. If electricity energy and waste heat in turbine are used, 56% of heating energy and 67% of cooling energy can be reduced respectively, and total system efficiency can be increased up to 70%.
