자연 대류형 태양열 온수기 최적 설계에 관한 연구 (Optimum Design of Thermosyphon Solar Hot Water System)

  • It was compared with experimental data to verify TRNSYS Model of the thermosyphon hot water system and the various simulations were conducted to optimize the component parameters of the system. To obtain consistent simulation results the system model, which could accurately describ the thermal storage tank temperature stratification and the friction head for mass flow rate, was used. The optimization of collector parameters(collector aspect ratio, riser numbers per header unit length), thermal storage tank parameters(ratio of tank length to tank diameter, heat exchanger type), system parameters(ratio of tank volume to collector area) was simulated by TRNSYS program. The simulation results indicate that the system performance is more effected by collector aspect ratio and the ratio of tank volume to collector area than the othor parameters.

  • In this paper, the comparison of speech feature parameters for emotion recognition is studied for emotion recognition using speech signal. For this purpose, a corpus of emotional speech data recorded and classified according to the emotion using the subjective evaluation were used to make statical feature vectors such as average, standard deviation and maximum value of pitch and energy. MFCC parameters and their derivatives with or without cepstral mean subfraction are also used to evaluate the performance of the conventional pattern matching algorithms. Pitch and energy Parameters were used as a Prosodic information and MFCC Parameters were used as phonetic information. In this paper, In the Experiments, the vector quantization based emotion recognition system is used for speaker and context independent emotion recognition. Experimental results showed that vector quantization based emotion recognizer using MFCC parameters showed better performance than that using the Pitch and energy parameters. The vector quantization based emotion recognizer achieved recognition rates of 73.3% for the speaker and context independent classification.

Evaluation of Neutron Cross Sections of Dy Isotopes in the Resonance Region

  • The neutron cross sections of $^{160}$ Dy, $^{161}$ Dy, $^{162}$ Dy, $^{l63}$Dy, and $^{164}$ Dy have been evaluated in the resonance region of which upper energy is set to several tens of keV. The cross sections are formulated with resonance parameters in the energy region under consideration. In the resolved resonance region, the positive-energy resonance parameters were adopted from the BNL compilation published in 1984 with slight, if any, modifications. A bound level resonance for each isotope except $^{162}$ Dy was invoked to reproduce the reference 2200 m/s cross sections and the bound coherent scattering length. Subsequently, the statistical behavior of the resolved resonance parameters was analyzed, and thus obtained s-wave average parameters were adopted in the unresolved resonance region. In addition, recent measurements of the capture cross sections in the unresolved region were taken into account in adjusting the average resonance parameters for high orbital angular momentum resonances. The present evaluation resulted in large improvements in the cross sections over the ENDF/B-Vl release 6.6.

Data-Driven Modelling of Damage Prediction of Granite Using Acoustic Emission Parameters in Nuclear Waste Repository

  • Evaluating the quantitative damage to rocks through acoustic emission (AE) has become a research focus. Most studies mainly used one or two AE parameters to evaluate the degree of damage, but several AE parameters have been rarely used. In this study, several data-driven models were employed to reflect the combined features of AE parameters. Through uniaxial compression tests, we obtained mechanical and AE-signal data for five granite specimens. The maximum amplitude, hits, counts, rise time, absolute energy, and initiation frequency expressed as the cumulative value were selected as input parameters. The result showed that gradient boosting (GB) was the best model among the support vector regression methods. When GB was applied to the testing data, the root-mean-square error and R between the predicted and actual values were 0.96 and 0.077, respectively. A parameter analysis was performed to capture the parameter significance. The result showed that cumulative absolute energy was the main parameter for damage prediction. Thus, AE has practical applicability in predicting rock damage without conducting mechanical tests. Based on the results, this study will be useful for monitoring the near-field rock mass of nuclear waste repository.

  • 핵연료봉의 PCI 파손은 원자로의 운전제한과 밀접한 관계가 있기 때문에, 출력급증 조건에서 핵연료봉의 PCI 파손을 지배하는 파손인자들의 거동을 검토하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 피복관에서의 원주방향 응력, 원주방향 변형도, 원주방향 주름 높이, 크립 변형율 및 변형도 에너지등의 파손인자들에 대한 거동특성을 핵연료봉 성능해석용 전산코드인 FEMAXI-IV를 이용하여 출력급증량 및 출력증가율의 운전인자들의 함수로 검토하였다.

Assessment of flow-accelerated corrosion-induced wall thinning in SA106 pipes with elbow sections

  • A combination of flow-accelerated corrosion (FAC) tests and corresponding computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tests were performed to determine the hydrodynamic parameters that could help predict the highly susceptible location to FAC in the elbow section. The accelerated FAC tests were performed on a specimen containing elbow sections fabricated using commercial 2-inch carbon steel pipe. The tests were conducted at flow rates of 9 m/s under the following conditions: water temperature of 150 ℃, dissolved oxygen <5 ppb, and pH 7. Thickness reduction of the specimen pipe due to FAC was measured using ultrasonic testing. CFD was conducted on the FAC test specimen, and the turbulence intensity, and shear stress were analyzed. Notably, the location of the maximum hydrodynamic parameters, that is, the wall shear stress and turbulent intensity, is also the same location with maximum FAC rate. Therefore, the shear stress and turbulence intensity can be used as hydrodynamic parameters that help predict the FAC-induced wall-thinning rate. The results provide a method to identify locations susceptible to FAC and can be useful for determining inspection priority in piping systems.

The technical and economical status in wave energy conversion is outlined. Power and energy efficiency relationships are discussed. Many different types of wave-energy converters have been detailed.   • Wireless sensor network is wieldy use for IoT application. The sensor node consider as physical device in IoT architecture. This all sensor node are operated with battery so the power consumption is very high during the data communication and low during the sensing the environment. Without proper planning of data communication the network might be dead very early so primary objective of the cluster based routing protocol is to enhance the battery life and run the application for longer time. In this paper we have comprehensive of twenty research paper related with clustering based routing protocol. We have taken basic information, network simulation parameters and performance parameters for the comparison. In particular, we have taken clustering manner, node deployment, scalability, data aggregation, power consumption and implementation cost many more points for the comparison of all 20 protocol. Along with basic information we also consider the network simulation parameters like number of nodes, simulation time, simulator name, initial energy and communication range as well energy consumption, throughput, network lifetime, packet delivery ration, jitter and fault tolerance parameters about the performance parameters. Finally we have summarize the technical aspect and few common parameter must be fulfill or consider for the design energy efficient cluster based routing protocol.

인두피판술 전.후의 공명파라미터의 비교: 예비연구 (A Comparison of Resonance Parameters before and after Pharyngeal Flap Surgery:A Preliminary Report)

  • Pharyngeal flap surgery changes the space and shape of the oral cavity and vocal tract, and these changing conditions bring resonance change. The purpose of this study was to determine the most reliable and valuable parameters for evaluating hypernasality to distinguish two patients before and after pharyngeal flap surgery. Each patient was asked to clearly speak the vowels /a/, /i/, /u/, /e/, /o/ for voice recording. There were nine parameters: Formant (F1, F2, F3), Bandwidth (BW1, BW2, BW3), LPC energy slope ($\Delta$ |A2-A1/F2-F1|), and Band Energy (0-500 Hz, 500-1000 Hz) by each vowel. From the results of discrimination analyses on acoustic parameters, the vowels /a/, /e/ appeared to be insignificant but vowels /i/, /u/, /o/ appeared to be efficient in the separation. A 95%, 100%, and 100% recognition score could be reached when vowels /i/, /u/, and /o/ were analyzed. The results showed that F2, BW3, and LPC slope are more important parameters than the others. Finally, there is a relation between perceptual evaluation score and LPC energy slope of acoustic parameters by least square slope.

  • The ECO2 building energy simulation program is used on the assessment project for building energy certification of non-dwelling buildings in Korea. In the design of energy efficient buildings, it is beneficial to identify the most important design parameters in oder to more efficiently develop alternative design solutions or reach optimized design solutions. The sensitivity analyses will be used at a reasonable early stage of the building design process, where it is still possible to influence the most important design parameters. In this study, the sensitivity analysis is focused on building envelope parameters such as U-values, SHGC and Wall-window ration.
