Also, The quality is guaranteed stablely to new business and ISP the requirement comes to become a multicasting quality guarantee mechanism which there is the reliability for a information communication and High-quality multimedia service. Like this, a multicast mechanism to be guaranteed must become air control End-to-End QoS for a service supply, a transmission delay a packet loss or requirement which the user requests guarantee and multicast Path-NET which there is the reliability must be provided. Therefor, we proposed IP base multicast new join the present the multicast mechanism of Probing packet foundation which there is the efficiently a linking acceptance, we used ns-2 simulator for the performance evaluation of the proposed.

  • A practically applicable collision free trajectory planning technique for tow robot systems is proposed. The robot trajectories considered in this work are composed of many segments, an at the intersection points between segments robots stop to assemble, weld, ordo other jobs by the attached a end-effectors. The proposed method is based on the Planning-Coordination Decomposition where planning is to find a trajectory of each robot independently according to their tasks and coordination is to find a velocity modification profile to avoid collision with each other. To fully utilize the independently planned trajectories and to ensure no geometrical path deviation after coordination, we develop a simple technique added the minimal delay time to avoid collision just before moving along path segments. We determine the least delay time by the graphical method in the Coordination space where collisions and coordinations are easily visualized. We classify all possible cases into 3 group and derive the optimal solution for each group.

  • In Korea, it is required to install the final cover layer immediately after the end of use of the waste landfill, and to conduct aftercare for 30 years. However, the installation of the final cover layer minimizing the penetration of the rainfall will delay the decomposition of the buried organic wastes and reduce the amount of pollutants released into the leachate. Therefore, at the end of the aftercare period, pollutants might be discharged and cause the pollution of the surrounding environment. In this study, using lab-scale lysimeters, the amount of pollutants discharged into the leachate was observed. At the initial stage, same artificial rainfall was injected, and after 7 months later, different reduced artificial rainfall was injected for 8.4 months assuming as the final soil layer was installed. From the results, it was advantageous in terms of environmental management after the end of the aftercare period to install a temporary cover layer that permits the infiltration of rainfall to some extent rather than to install the final cover layer immediately after the end of use of the waste landfill.

  • Delay claim should actually be supported by a set of proper information so that the contractors could prove their validity. The so-called information should be able to clarify the relationship between delay events and how they impact on the whole project. Therefore, exploiting an integrated system by people who are involved in construction business would certainly prove helpful. In the present study, delay analysis methods have been investigated along with selecting a relatively comprehensive method which has been modified, and eventually, a novel model and its required modules have been proposed for evaluating delay claims. The suggested integrated model is formed to identify delayed events, to classify delays, to measure the impacts of delays on the project scheduling, and finally to estimate the damages which were caused by those so-called delays. A decision support system (DSS) model which is related to the integrated system is actually extracted from Iran's general contract conditions, that is, 4311 magazine (equivalent to red FIDIC book). It is then programmed and coded by C# program. This DSS model can be used as an input of Easy Plan program. In addition, at the end of this research, the coded DSS has been used along with the so-called program so that a modified and developed model could be generated.

  • This paper focuses on the $H_{\infty}$ filter design problem for offshore steel jacket platforms. Its objective is to design a full-order state observer for offshore platforms in presence of unknown disturbances. To make the method more practical, it is assumed that the measured variables are available at discrete-time instants with time-varying sampling time intervals. By modelling the sampling intervals as a bounded time-varying delay, the estimation error system is expressed as a time-delay system. As a result, the addressed problem can be transformed to the problem of stability of dynamic error between the system and the state estimator. Then, based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii Functional (LKF), a stability criterion is obtained in the form of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). According to the stability criterion, a sufficient condition on designing the state estimator gain is obtained. In the end, the proposed method is applied to an offshore platform to show its effectiveness.

  • In this paper, we extend the performance of bidirectional TCP connection over end-to-end network that uses transfer rate-based flow and congestion control. The sharing of a common buffer by TCP packets and acknowledgement has been known to result in an effect called ack compression, where acks of a connection arrive at the source bunched together, resulting in unfairness and degraded throughput. The degradation in throughput due to bidirectional traffic can be significant. Even in the simple case of symmetrical connections with adequate window size, the connection efficiency is improved about 20% for three levels of background traffic 2.5Mbps, 5.0Mbps and 7.5Mbps. Otherwise, the throughput of jitter is reduced about 50% because round trip delay time is smaller between source node and destination node. Also, we show that throughput curve is improved with connection rate algorithm which is proposed for TCP congetion avoidance as a function of aggressiveness threshold for three levels of background traffic 2.5Mbps, 5Mbps and 7.5Mbps. By analyzing the periodic bursty behavior of the source IP queue, we derive estimated for the maximum queue size and arrive at a simple predictor for the degraded throughput, applicable for relatively general situations.

  • In this paper, we present the integrated network architecture for supporting mobile IP in third generation mobile communication networks, and propose the end-to-end QoS control mechanisms of DiffServ and QoS control functions of each network element in the proposed network. First, the QoS supporting schemes of IMT-2000 are described. Second, the necessities of integrating the networks are discussed and the integrated architecture are proposed. Third, the mapping between wireless channels and DiffServ classes are presented. Finally, the end-to-end QoS control mechanisms are proposed. We also analyze the link level protocols with QoS provisioning for mobile multimedia assuming that the system support voice and data traffic simultaneously. In case of data traffic, the delay and throughput of SREJ ARQ and Type-1 Hybrid ARQ scheme are compared, and In case of voice traffic, the packet loss rate of BCH coding is analyzed according to the varying data traffic loads. The results indicate that the adaptive link level protocols are efficient to meet the QoS requirements while the complexities are increased.

  • Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) is a networking architecture that is designed to solve network problem in unstable and stressed environments using the Store-Carry-Forward method. Different form general networks, DTN does not guarantee the end-to-end connectivity, it is hard for the exiting TCP/IP based protocols to normally work due to the characteristic such as large latency and unstable link connectivity. And the condition that send massage without the information of the destination occurs frequently. Thus, suitable routing protocols for DTN are required and being researched. In this paper, we propose a novel routing protocol for DTN utilizing epidemic and prediction based algorithm to prevent the defect of previously DTN routing protocols such as the absence of the holistic view of the network. Proposed algorithm predicted destination using the mobility information recorded in neighbor node's history and utilize epidemic based algorithm when occurred condition without destination's information. This algorithm is enhanced in terms of delivery ratio, decreases latency and overhead in sparse network such as DTN.

  • In this paper, we propose a new scheduling method that can guarantee reliable jitter by minimizing the queue length variation in the streaming service provisioning such as IPTV and VoD. The amount of traffic to be delivered within a certain time is very fluid because MPEG-4 and H.264 encoders use VBR(Variable Bit Rate) for delivering video streaming traffic. This VBR characteristic increases the end-to-end propagation delay variation when existing scheduling methods are used for delivering video frames. Therefore, we propose the new scheduling method that can minimize change rate of queue length by adaptively controling service rate taking into account the size of bulk incoming packets and arrival rate for bulk streaming traffic. Video frames can be more reliably transmitted through the minimization of the queue length variation using the proposed method. We use the queueing model and also carry out OPNET simulation to validate the proposed method.
