  • When it is used for autonomous mobile robots by using dead-reckoning system, odometry system with encorder is the simplest method as well as well-known in the industry. However, odometry system is reflected slide, friction and mechanical errors of wheels when operating the position estimation. And also in order to minimize errors of direction angle which is the most important factor that it is designed the controller in controlling kinematics and quadratic curve, PID that came into the values of sensor fusion with encorder and gyroscope sensor. After designing, the autonomous mobile robot is producted practically and inspected how it works.

컨테이너박스용 용접선 추적거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Seam Tracking Behavior for container box's welding)

  • The probe type sensor using strain gauges was used to track a container box's seam in this paper. A strain gauge has a property which the specific resistance is changed by varying of the sectional area and length when tensile and compressive stresses are generated at the strain gauge. We designed the automatic seam tracking device by attaching the probe type strain gauge sensor, motor driving slide, encorder to check the moving distance and interface card connected MPU upside the speed controllable carriage. The folded work piece for a container box is made to examine whether the device can track the seam automatically or not. Seam tracking experiments were done by changing the carriage moving speed at 300. 400. 500. 600[mm/min] each as the voltage of side track was 2.5[V]. We compared and analyzed the sampling data which is obtained by output voltage of strain gauge sensor and rotary encorder pulse every 100 [m/s]. The welding experiments were performed by using $CO_2$ welding machine about the carriage moving speed that has good seam tracking condition in the seam tracking experiments above. And we compared the seam tracking status.

  • This paper is to study the inverted pendulum system of cart type by using the method of PID control. This system is that inverted pendulum maintain a constant balance from unstable state by moving a cart. It is controlled via the PID controller. PID controller is proposed to maintain a constant balance for nonlinear system such as the inverted pendulum system so PID control is widely used in the industrial field because of superior control performance, easy implementation and relatively simple structure. To design this system, it consist of Encorder and DC motor. Encorder is used to read the angle of the pendulum and DC motor is used to change the angle. We can verify results of experiment through the Matlab simulator via the inverted pendulum system of cart type.

  • We made to develop CNC Tool Grinding Machine automating the linear motion of X,Y,Z axis of table, and thetilting and rotation of tool holding vice by using Encorder to increase the efficiency of tool grinding for the Conventional Tool Grinding Machine. We did not consider the part of static, dynamic and thermal behavior that must necessary consider when wedesign, because we used existing Conventional Tool Grinding Machine as it is. We investigated simulation to make existing Conventional Tool Grinding Machine like CNC. We also designed it, and we compared the capability of existing Conventional Tool Grinding and CNC Tool Grinding Machine, and we investigated, too.

  • A study on simulation using Matlab shows the dynamic condition of a beam on feed-back with encorder. A controller for rapid response interpreted the stability on simulation with pole-placement technique. The effect of response was considered feed-back gain. The result of feed-back is described that various feed-back coefficient shows stable controll systems. It would be expected each result according to controllers.

  • Space Vector control of linear induction motor without speed sensor is one of the most up-to-date researching subjects to the engineers in the fields of power electronics and control theory. A conveyance SLIM (Single-sided Linear Induction Motor) has required a stable speed and a soft start/stop when the goods convey. So, the close loop control method to use a speed sensor have been adopted and as the speed sensor, a linear encorder has been used. But when the speed sensor used, the application boundary is limited and the confidence of system is diminished because it is sensitive to external environment variations and its cost is very expensive. So, to solve these problems, this paper deals with speed control of the conveyance SLIM using space vector without speed sensorless.

비구면 연삭 및 연마를 위한 공구 경로 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control Method for the Tool Path of Aspherical Surface Grinding and Polishing)

  • This paper proposed the control algorithm fur aspheric surface grinding and was verified by the experiment. The functions of the algorithm were simultaneous control of the position and interpolation of the aspheric curve. The non-linear formula of the tool position was derived from the aspheric equations and the shape of the tool. The function was partitioned by an certain interval and the control parameters were calculated at each control section. The movement in a session was interpolated with acceleration and velocity. The position error was feed-backed by rotary encorder. The concept of feedback algorithm was correcting position error by increasing or decreasing the speed. In the experiment, two-axis machine was controlled to track the aspheric surface by the proposed algorithm. The effect of the control and process parameters was monitored. The result showed that the maximum tracking error was under sub-micro level for the concave and convex surfaces.

  • 본 논문에서는 직류전동기 구동 시스템의 전류 및 속도 제어를 위하여 dSPACE 1104 시스템을 이용하여 전류 궤환을 갖는 속도 제어시스템을 구현하였다. 전류 및 속도 제어기의 설계는 MATLAB/SIMULINK 프로그램을 사용하여 간편하고 손쉽게 구현하였으며, 직류전동기 속도제어의 안정성과 응답성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 직류전동기의 전류제어 및 속도제어는 DSP 보드와 dSPACE 시스템을 사용하여 수행하였으며, 속도의 궤환은 속도센서인 엔코더 펄스를 이용해서 QEP로 처리하였고, 전류의 궤환은 전류센서인 홀센서를 통해서 A/D 변환기로 처리하였다. 제어기들은 각각 PI 전류제어기 및 PI 속도제어기를 설계하였고 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해서 전류 및 속도 응답을 확인하였다.

레졸바 인터페이스를 이용한 회전자 위치 및 속도 검출 (Rotor Position and Speed Detect Using Resolver Interface)

  • 레졸바는 앤코더에 비하여 가격 면에서 유리하지는 않지만 절대위치를 검지해야 하는 경우와 기계적으로 견고해야 하는 장소에서 정교한 제어용으로 사용되고 있다. 레졸바에 의한 위치와 속도검출 방법은 일반적으로 관측기를 응용하고 있으며, 아날로그 신호를 처리해야 하는 부분을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 레졸바의 출력신호를 위치정보인 코사인과 사인파형으로 복조하고 복조된 아날로그 신호를 제어기에 전송하는 방법을 사용하였다. 또한, 제어기의 프로그램에 추정기를 설계하고 극저속에서 그 동작을 관찰하였다.

  • Energy consumption rapidly increases with industrial development. therefore an interest in the efficiency of various power converters is increasing. Especially, the field of high-efficiency small motors widely distributed for industrial and family use is considered a very important field in terms of efficient energy usage, and accordingly, in the field of small electric equipment, the use of BLDC that allows high-efficiency drive in an inductor gradually increases. However, for the BLDC drive, information on the position of the rotor is essential. Both methods using a magnetic encoder and an optical encoder to detect the information on the position of the rotor obtain the information by three position sensitive devices, and if any one of these position sensitive devices fails to function, no positional information can be obtained, so there is a limitation in implementing a position sensor with high reliability. In the paper, proposes a new type of encoder that can obtain the positional information on the position of the rotor using a single position sensor in order to overcome the issues that it has to use numerous signal flows and that the reliability is reduced for the acquisition of positional information generated by using multiple position detectors. The encoder in the proposed method replaced the function of generating positional information from multiple sensors with the shape of the encoder plate and the capture function of MICOM. In order to verify the validity of the position detection technique by the proposed encoder, a prototype was produced, and an experiment using the capture function of DSP was conducted through this.
