Walt Disney Feature Animation released high quality films such as 'Frozen', 'Big Hero 6', 'Wreck-it Ralph', 'Zootopia', 'Moana', 'Frozen 2' and not only got high score in box office but showed great CG and visuals. However, making feature animation requires a lot of time, money, and efforts so it is very important to support studios' artists to finish each show within limited budget and time. This paper shows artists' training program such as 'Short Circuit' and 'Bootcamp' that walt disney feature animation provides their artists to improve their creativity and do their jobs artistically and efficiently. Disney's training program not only provides artists various training classes but gives them chances to work on short animation which enhances artistic skills and enable them to work in different departments and experience different tasks. This paper also explains some training cases of CG studios in South Korea and Disney Animations' in-house tools.

The traditional nursing roles have become increasingly blurred. Nurses are now working in different ways and at higher levels of practice that enable nurses to adapt their roles and take on new responsibilities. The advanced role of nurses requires a different kind of master-level prepared education. Method & Result: This article describes an curriculum development process in preparing registered nurses for their advanced nurese' roles in the area of acute adult health nursing, geriatric nursing, pediatric nursing, neonatal intensive care nursing and oncology nursing. Several important issues to be solved regarding introduction of APN were also discussed. Conclusion: The curriculum that was proposed in the study will equip nurses to meet the challenges of future healthcare provision and will be a model to other areas of nursing practice and curriculum development.

Matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry (MS) is a very effective method for lipid mass fingerprinting. However, MALDI MS suffered from spectral complexities, differential ionization efficiencies, and poor reproducibility when analyzing complex lipid mixtures without prior separation steps. Here, we aimed to find optimal MALDI sample preparation methods which enable selective or class-wide mass fingerprinting of two totally different lipid classes. In order to achieve this, various matrices with additives were tested against the mixture of phosphatidylcholine (PC) and cerebrosides (Cers) which are abundant in animal brain tissues and also of great interests in disease biology. Our results showed that, from complex lipid mixtures, 2,4,6-trihydroxyacetophenone (THAP) with $NaNO_3$ was a useful MALDI matrix for the class-wide fingerprinting of PC and Cers. In contrast, THAP efficiently generated PC-focused profiles and graphene oxide (GO) with $NaNO_3$ provided Cer-only profiles with reduced spectral complexity.

Despite the recent development of structural analysis programs for the CRCP pavements over Westergaard's equations and finite element techniques, the Winkler foundations which are modelled by series of vertical springs at the nodes are generally used for the computer modelling of subbases under the concrete slab. Herewith, two parameter of soil foundation model is adopted as the most convenient mathematical model to enable deflections outside the loaded area to be effected and to upgrade the Winkler foundations. This paper highlights the derivations of finite element method for the two-parameter soil foundation model in the concrete pavements.

This paper reports a parallel architecture in a HMM based speech recognition system for a low-power LSI design. The proposed architecture calculates output probability of continuous HMM (CHMM) by using concurrent and pipeline processing. They enable to reduce memory access and have high computing efficiency. The novel point is the efficient use of register arrays that reduce memory access considerably compared with any conventional method. The implemented system can achieve a real time response with lower clock in a middle size vocabulary recognition task (100-1000 words) by using this technique.

In this paper. we propose a floating resistor with positive and negative resistance operating at lower supply voltages. The circuit uses only two transistors between the supply voltages. which enable to operate it at low supply voltages. Moreover. the circuit uses fewer number of transistors compared to the reported work. The gate terminal is used in this circuit for the current addition/subraction at the terminals of resistor. The characteristic of the proposed circuit is verified using HSPICE for the power supply +/-1.5V.

The number of cellular phone users has exceeded over twenty million recently. Some researches show that people in the twenties to thirtieth usually regard the cellular as an instrument for not only call but also Internet. It means the cellular is being highlighted as a mediator for transmitting information. Therfore it'll play an essential role soon as a gateway for unifying wire and wireless services if we can browse Internet sites, for example our own homepage or commercial site, with the cellular. This paper explain WAP topology which enable the mobile terminal to access to the Web and show a method of designing and realizing WML document on the Web.

Printed circuit boards (PCB) replaced conventional wiring in most electronic equipment I, reducing the size and weight of electronic equipment while improving reliability, uniformity, precision and performance. PCB is used in all kinds of electronic products because they can be mass-produced with very high circuit density and also enable easier trouble-shooting. This paper presents the analyses of the patent information of Build-up PCB which is seen as the most promising solution, as its substrate supports multi-level packaging, thinner board profiles and smaller pitches.

In this paper, we propose a real-time centralized soft motion control system for high speed and precision robot control. The system engages EtherCAT as high speed industrial motion network to enable force based motion control in real-time and is composed of software-based master controller with PC and slave interface modules. Hard real-time control capacity is essential for high speed and precision robot control. To implement soft based real time control, The soft based master controller is designed using a real time kernel (RTX) and EtherCAT network, and servo processes are located in the master controller for centralized motion control. In the proposed system, slave interface modules just collect and transfer all sensor information of robot to the master controller via the EtherCAT network. It is proven by experimental results that the proposed soft motion control system has real time controllability enough to apply for various robot control systems.

This paper proposes a paradigm for research on broadcast political interviews. Developed using a series of studies, the paradigm introduces core aspects and questions that should be addressed when examining political interviews in a particular society. This paradigm will enable researchers to collect detailed accounts of the interaction between interviewers and interviewees, the structure and tone of the questions posed to interviewees and the interviewees' communicative style when addressing such questions, and the strategies employed by the participants to pursue their goals. It is hoped that the paradigm will encourage the interest and facilitate the study of televised political interviews particularly from the nationally, culturally, and socially diversified Asian countries. Gathering detailed data from non-Western societies in Asia will also facilitate our understanding of the function and effect of political communication from a cross-cultural perspective.
