저출산 가정의 자녀 양육상태 및 어머니의 취업여부에 따른 집단 내 비교 분석 연구 (Understanding of Parenting Issues From the Families with One Child Comparisons Between the Two Groups of Mothers by Maternal Employment Status)

  • This study had a three fold-research purpose. The first research purpose was to understand parenting issues the families with one child are facing. The second purpose was to examine any differences in variables of interest in this study between the two subgroups of this study sorted by maternal employment status. Finally, this study examined which variables of interest in this study predict maternal self-efficacy. The variables of interest in this study included: 1) family demographic variables, 2) maternal self-efficacy, 3) parenting stress, 4) maternal satisfactions with contextual factors, and 5) maternal perceptions of effectiveness of birth-rate promotion policies. The sample consisted of 276 mothers selected from the one child families and the mothers sampled were asked to fill out the self-administered surveys which had been developed for the purpose of this study. The main results of this study were as follows. Overall, the mothers of this study did not have high levels of maternal self-efficacy, when SES of this sample was taken into consideration. Non-working mothers had higher levels of maternal self-efficacy than working mothers. No significant differences were found in parenting stress levels between the two subgroups. There were significant group differences in maternal perceptions of the effectiveness of birth- rate promotion policies. Furthermore, a wide range of variables was found to be a significant predictor of maternal self-efficacy. Implications were discussed.

대학 장기현장실습 프로그램의 성과평가지표 개발 및 적용에 관한 연구 : 한국기술교육대학교의 사례 (A Study on the Development and Application of Performance Evaluation Criteria for Co-op Programs in Universities: Focused on the Case of KOREATECH)

  • Koreatech has adopted a long-term co-op program called IPP (Industry Professional Practice) to address problems in higher education of Korea since 2012, but it was anticipated to face many difficulties in implementing the program due to lack of relevant experiences in Korea. In this regard, a performance evaluation scheme was urgently required to judge the effectiveness of the Co-op program and improve the operational efficiency at the same time. This study aimed to develop comprehensive performance evaluation criteria for the co-op programs on the basis of Kirkpatrick's four-level performance evaluation model for training programs, and apply it to a real Co-op operation to test its feasibility. For this purpose, thorough review on the training program evaluation literature and in-depth analyses of overseas cases of co-op performance evaluation were conducted. Then, a set of Co-op performance evaluation criteria was developed and applied to the Koreatech's Co-op operation in 2013. Two Co-op student questionnaire surveys were administered before and after Co-op terms to measure students' reactions to the Co-op program (Level 1) and changes in participating students' attitudes and competencies (Level 2). In addition, employment rates of Co-op participating and non-participating students were compared (Level 4). The analysis findings showed that participating students were quite satisfied with their jobs and companies, and the Co-op program was effective to a certain degree at enhancing non-major competencies and attitudes to occupation of students. Together, the employment rate of Co-op participants, particularly in small- and medium-sized companies, grew significantly in comparison with that of non-participants. In the last part, several directions for improving the effectiveness of the Co-op programs were discussed.

인터넷 원격교육에서 학습자 관점의 문제점에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on Students' Problems of Internet-based Distance Learning)

  • 인터넷 원격교육이 보편화되어 가고 있는 현시점에서 인터넷 원격교육의 교육적 효과에 대한 검증은 매우 필요한 연구 대상이라고 할 수 있다. 면대면 교육이 아닌 인터넷 원격교육의 문제점에 대한 분석은 교육적 효과에 대한 검증에서 반드시 거쳐야하는 중요성을 내포하고 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 원격교육에 참가한 606명의 학생들을 대상으로 한 설문을 바탕으로 인터넷 원격교육의 학습자 입장에서의 문제점에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 문제점을 환경적 문제, 학생자신의 문제, 교수설계 문제, 운영상의 문제의 4가지 카테고리로 구분하고 카테고리별 문제점들을 도출하여 설문을 통해 문제의 심각성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 오늘날의 인터넷 원격교육에 시사하는 점들을 찾을 수 있었다. 또한 각 문제들의 성별, 직업유무, 나이에 따른 차이 유무를 통계적 방법론을 통하여 검증하였다.

비용편익분석을 통한 안전보건대장의 경제적 효과성 분석 (Cost-Benefit Analysis on the Economic Effectiveness of Safety and Health Ledger)

  • 건설공사 발주자에게 건설현장 근로자에 대한 안전보건관리 책무를 부여하는 안전보건대장 제도가 「산업안전보건법」 전부개정에 포함되어 도입되었다. 안전보건대장 제도에 대한 낮은 인식과 이행률로 발생되는 제도의 실효성 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 경제성 측면에서 제도의 효과성을 설명할 필요가 있으므로 본 연구에서는 안전보건대장 도입 당시 논의되었던 자료를 근거로 비용편익분석을 활용하여 안전보건제도 이행의 경제적 효과를 분석하였다. 안전보건대장 제도 이행에 있어 추가적인 비용이 발생하는 것은 설계안전보건대장의 작성 및 관리로 분석되었다. 작성비용과 산업재해 감소로 발생되는 직·간접적 편익을 비교한 결과 편익이 비용보다 높게 평가되었으므로 안전보건대장 제도는 건설공사 재해 감소와 경제적 효과를 발생시키는 것으로 판단된다.

냉소주의가 지원적 분위기와 조직효과성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Cynicism on Supportive Climate and Organizational Effectiveness)

  • 빠르게 변화하는 경영환경에 따라 상시적인 구조조정, 고용불안의 증가는 종업원들로 하여금 조직에 대한 냉소적 태도를 가지도록 하였다. 이러한 조직 냉소주의의 확산은 조직 내 지원적 분위기를 저해하고, 조직효과성에도 부정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 여겨진다. 본 논문은 조직 구성원들이 갖는 냉소주의적 태도가 조직의 지원적 분위기와 조직효과성에 미치는 효과 및 지원적 분위기가 조직효과성에 미치는 효과에 대해 분석하였다. 본 연구를 위한 자료는 충북 혁신도시에 있는 공공기관이 2015년에 실시한 조직혁신 프로그램을 위한 설문조사에서 응답한 172명의 자료를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 연구모형을 분석하기 위해 구조방정식 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 분석결과를 보면 지원적 분위기는 조직효과성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 냉소주의는 지원적 분위기에 부정적인 효과를 보였다. 냉소주의가 조직효과성에 대해서는 유의한 효과를 보이지 않았지만, 조직분위기를 통해 조직효과성에 부정적인 간접효과가 있음을 밝혔다.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the impact on accident reduction by analyzing the policy effectiveness of an industrial accident prevention clean workplace support project targeting the construction industry. Methods: In this study, DID and PSM models were used to analyze workplaces receiving and not receiving financial support based on the status of industrial accidents in recent years and the status of the workplaces by year. Results: The research results show that meaningful effects continued to occur in terms of reducing accidents and increasing employment. Conclusions: In this study, we show the effectiveness of the clean workplace support project, one of the South Korean government's financial support projects in the field of occupational safety and health focusing on the construction industry. Financial support projects such as clean projects should be further expanded based on the results of this study.

  • Objectives: The major objective of this study is to review overall and in detail the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 in the U.K.and the principal contents of this act. Methods: A variety of articles related to the background and circumstances under which the legistration was enacted and the details of this act were investigated and analyzed. Results: In enacting Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, legislators mainly took elements of legal culture into account and focused on seeking to broaden the law on corporate manslaughter. An indictable offence is considered to have been committed if the way in which an organization's activities are managed or organised causes a person's death and amounts to a gross breach of the relevant duty of care owed by the organization to the deceased. The way in which its activities are managed or organized by its senior management is a substantial element in the breach. Upon conviction, a corporation may be ordered to remedy any breach, publicize its failures, or be given an unlimited fine. Conclusions: The enactment background and details of Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 is understood accurately. On the basis of the findings, it is necessary to heighten effectiveness of punishment.for senior management or corporations that cause a person's death in Korea.

텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 우리나라 산업재해의 원인분석 (Text-mining based Cause Analysis of Accidents at Workplaces in Korea)

  • The analysis of the causes of accidents in workplaces where machines and tools are used is essential to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of safety prevention policies in places of employment in Korea. The causes of workplace accidents are not fully understood mainly due to difficulties in analyzing available descriptive information. This study focuses on the automated accident cause analysis in workplaces based on the accident abstracts found in industrial accident reports written in an unstructured descriptive format. The method proposed in this paper is based on text data mining and uses the keyword search function of Excel software to automate the analysis. The analysis results indicate that the primary reason for the frequency of accidents is related to technical aspects at a stage in which dangerous situations occur in the workplace. Accidents due to managerial causes are typically observed when danger exists in the workplace; however, managerial actions play a more important role in reducing accident severity. A small company tends to use unsafe machines and devices, leading to further accidents due to technical causes, whereas managerial causes are more conspicuous as the company grows. To preclude the occurrence of accidents due to inadequate knowledge, the implementation of safety management and the provision of safety education to elderly workers at the early stage of their employment are particularly important for small companies with less than 100 workers.

지역 합계출산율에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석: 횡단면 의존성을 고려한 모형을 이용하여 (Analysis of Factors Affecting Regional Total Fertility Rate: Using a Model Considering Cross-sectional Dependence)

  • Purpose - Low fertility rate is a serious problem, and this study analyzes factors affecting total fertility rate using panel data from 16 metropolitan cities and provinces in Korea from 2000 to 2022. Design/methodology/approach - Estimating the SAR model considering the weak cross-sectional dependence that exists in variables related to the regional total fertility rate, and using the DKSE estimation method considering the strong cross-sectional dependence. Findings - Estimation results considering weak and strong cross-sectional dependence were similar, confirming the robustness of the results. Female labor force participation rate has a positive effect on total fertility rate, and employment rate has no effect. However, the interaction term is a negative (-) sign. Crude marriage rate has a positive effect on total fertility rate, and apartment price has a slightly positive effect. Environmental factor has no effect, and policy factor has a negative effect. Research implications or Originality - In order for an increase in the female labor force participation rate to lead to an increase in the total fertility rate, qualitative improvements in female employment must be made. Financial investment policies for childbirth must increase their effectiveness. The problem of low fertility rate requires not only population policy but also social, economic, cultural, environmental, and policy conditions to be considered.

중소기업 법정관리회사 근로자의 고용불안과 직무스트레스가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence Job Instability and Job Stress of Employee of Midium and Small Firm being Legal Management Attribute Turnover Intention)

  • 본 논문은 수도권(서울, 경기, 인천) 50인 미만의 중소기업 법정관리회사의 근로자 134명을 대상으로 그들의 고용불안과 직무스트레스가 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 변수들 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 자료 분석을 위하여 SPSS V.21을 이용하였으며 각 변인별 상관관계 및 인과관계 분석을 위해 이변량상관분석 및 단순 다중회귀분석을 하였고 매개효과성 검증과 사후검증으로 소벨검증(sobel test)을 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 중소기업법정관리회사의 고용불안과 직무역할스트레스는 스트레스지각이나 이직의도에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 스트레스지각과 이직의도 관계에서도 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 결과를 얻었다. 이는 중소기업 법정관리회사의 근로자에 대한 스트레스관리와 인적 자원관리에 시사점을 제공하고 법정관리회사의 근로자를 대상으로 고용불안과 직무 스트레스에 대한 연구를 처음으로 시도하였다는 데 연구의 의의가 있다.
