  • For effectively lowering down the risk of cyber threating, the zero-trust architecture (ZTA) has been gradually deployed to the fields of smart city, Internet of Things, and cloud computing. The main concept of ZTA is to maintain a distrustful attitude towards all devices, identities, and communication requests, which only offering the minimum access and validity. Unfortunately, adopting the most secure and complex multifactor authentication has brought enterprise and employee a troublesome and unfriendly burden. Thus, authors aim to incorporate machine learning technology to build an employee behavior analysis ZTA. The new framework is characterized by the ability of adjusting the difficulty of identity verification through the user behavioral patterns and the risk degree of the resource. In particular, three key factors, including one-time password, face feature, and authorization code, have been applied to design the adaptive multifactor continuous authentication system. Simulations have demonstrated that the new work can eliminate the necessity of maintaining a heavy authentication and ensure an employee-friendly experience.

The current research focuses on effects caused by despotic leadership on followers' emotional exhaustion, which leads to employee outcomes such as interpersonal deviances and indirect aggression. The association between despotic leadership and results (employee interpersonal deviance and indirect violence) is investigated in this study. In this study, emotional exhaustion is used as a mediator. Furthermore, negative affectivity is used as a moderator between despotic leadership and emotional exhaustion. A time-lagged framework is employed with a sample of 255 respondents. Age, qualification, marital status, gender, grade, type of organization, department, and job experience are among the eight demographical questions in this study. After evaluating the data for normality, correlation analysis was performed, followed by moderation and mediation analysis. The current study explores the link between despotic leadership and emotional exhaustion among followers, arguing that a despotic leader will leave followers exhausted at work. Emotional exhaustion was also linked to interpersonal deviances, such as indirect aggression, in a significant and positive way. Employee outcomes, such as interpersonal deviances and indirect aggressiveness through emotional exhaustion, will be influenced by a despotic leader, according to the findings.

  • The construction industry highly depends on each specialized manager which is essential to successful project. However, a new employee, who has just graduated from architectural engineering college, is requested additional education for 1~2 years such as On-the-Job-Training (O.J.T) to perform his/her professional job in construction site. It is wasteful for both construction company and the employee in terms of time and cost. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the required abilities and analyze the gap of demanded abilities between field managers and students. To collect data for analysis, questionnaire which uses Likert Scale has been performed to both parts. As a result, the analysis show that the graduate's abilities related to field experience get especially low degrees in compare with non-field experience factors. These results will contribute architectural engineering education in college to make more realized.

  • Ensuring the confidentiality of patient records is critical requirement for quality of care and in fulfilling legal obligation of healthcare organizations. This study analyzed the behavior of hospital employees who are dealing with confidential patient information in a hospital. Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB) model and TPB expanded models that add habit concept to TPB are tested for the validity in explaining the predisposing factors that affect the behavior of hospital employee in ensuring the confidentiality of patient records. Data were collected by administrating a survey to the 350 employee of a tertiary care hospital. Of the 350 questionaries distributed, 321 were responded resulting 92% of response rate. The mean differences among the groups classified by age, years of experience, gender, and occupation were analysis using ANOVA. The relationships among the concepts suggested in the models were analysed by applying the Structural Equations Modeling method. The results of ANOVA indicated significant mean differences in the frequency of confidentiality ensuing behavior. Administrative staff and medical technicians show higher frequency of ensuing behavior compared to the physicians and the nurses. And more experienced employee show more confidentiality ensuring behavior. The results of Structural Equations analysis showed that the strong effect of habit and attitude in predicting the behavior. However, the effect of perceived behavioral control was not significant. Based on the results the theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
