여성 베이비부머의 부양지원 제공과 우울 (Providing family support and depression: Focussing on babyboom women)

  • Objectives: This study observes how providing family support - financial, emotional, and instrumental - is related to depression in babyboom women. Method: I analysed data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families 5th wave, collected by the Korean Women's Development Institute. The analysis was conducted using regression, t-test, Chi-square test, frequency analysis, and Pearson's correlation analysis. Results: Financial support for grown-up children, either married or unmarried, increases depression in babyboom women. In the dimension of instrumental support, caring for grandchildren reduces babyboom women's depression. It implies that contact with grandchildren is perceived as an emotional support rather than a physical burden. The results of this study also show that babyboom women are comforted by living with their own parents, but not by living with parents-in-law. The most impressive observation, however, is in the dimension of emotional support, which showed that the conversation with elderly parents reduces baby-boom women's depression, but that the conversation with married children increases it. The opposite directions in the effects seem to be related to the subjects of the conversations. The subjects of the conversation with children are mostly about problems and agenda of the children, while those with elderly parents are mainly about parents' health and care for each other. Conclusions: The results of the analyses suggest that babyboom women should become less involved with their grown-up children's lives. It also calls for the societal efforts to be put into building up the support system, especially for eco-boom generation, to reduce babyboomer's burden of supporting the children.

챗봇서비스의 지원품질이 사용자 만족, 충성도 및 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 사회적 실재감의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Support Quality of Chatbot Services on User Satisfaction, Loyalty and Continued Use Intention: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Social Presence)

  • 본 연구는 고객이 챗봇서비스를 통하여 제공 받는 사회적 지원(정서적 지원, 정보적 지원)이 고객이 느끼는 챗봇서비스 만족에 영향을 미치는지 확인하고, 이 챗봇서비스의 만족이 충성도와 챗봇서비스 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는지 연구하였다. 그리고, 챗봇서비스의 사회적 실재감의 조절효과를 확인하기 위해 사회적 실재감을 높게 인식하는 그룹과 낮게 인식하는 그룹으로 나누어 온라인 설문을 실시하여 총 300개의 유효 데이터를 얻었다. 분석결과 사회적 실재감을 높게 인식하는 그룹에서는 정서적 지원에서 챗봇서비스의 만족으로의 경로가 지지되었고, 사회적 실재감을 낮게 인식하는 그룹에서는 정서적 지원에서 챗봇서비스 만족으로의 경로가 지지되지 못하였으며 가설 경로계수에서도 차이가 확인되었다. 이는 사회적 실재감이 인간의 정서적 반응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석된다. 본 연구는 사회적 지원의 두 가지 요인인 정보적 지원과 정서적 지원을 챗봇서비스에 적용하여 챗봇 이용자가 느끼는 챗봇의 사회적 실재감 정도에 따른 만족도, 충성도, 지속적 이용 간의 관계를 실증하였다는 점에서 챗봇서비스의 사회적 실재감의 기능에 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있다.

정서표현억제전략과 외상후 성장의 관계: 외상사건에 대한 자기개방과 사회적 지지의 순차적 다중매개효과 (Relationship between Suppression Strategy of Emotional Expression and Posttraumatic Growth: Serial Multiple Mediating Effects of Self Disclosure on Traumatic Event and Social Support)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정서조절전략이 외상후 성장에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 정서표현억제전략과 외상후 성장과의 관계에서 외상 경험에 대한 자기개방과 사회적 지지의 순차적 다중매개 효과를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 만 18세 이상의 성인을 대상으로 설문을 하여, 663명(남자 222명, 여자 441명)의 자료가 최종 통계분석에 사용되었다. SPSS Process Macro로 분석한 결과, 정서표현억제전략을 덜 사용할수록 외상후 성장이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정서표현억제전략과 외상후 성장과의 관계에서 자기개방의 단순매개효과, 정서표현억제전략과 외상후 성장과의 관계에서 자기개방과 사회적 지지의 순차적 다중매개효과를 확인하였다. 이는 정서조절전략으로서 정서표현억제를 적게 사용하는 사람들일수록 외상경험에 대해 자기개방을 많이 함으로써 주위 사람들의 위로와 지지를 받게 되어, 외상후 성장에 이를 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 이는 외상후 성장에 있어 정서적 자기개방과 사회적 지지가 중요함을 확인한 것이다. 평소에 정서표현을 억제하는 비자발적 내담자를 위한 외상후 성장을 촉진할 수 있는 상담현장에서의 개입방법을 제시하였고, 본 연구의 의의 및 한계점, 후속연구의 방향에 대해 제언하였다.

직장 내 괴롭힘이 정서적 고갈 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 사회적 지원의 역할 (A Study on the Effects of Workplace Bullying on Emotional Depletion and Organizational Commitment-The Role of Social Support)

  • 본 연구는 직장 내 괴롭힘이 정서적 고갈 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 유의한 차이를 살펴보고, 사회적 지원에 따른 유의한 차이가 있을 것인가를 고찰해 보고자 400부의 설문지를 활용하였다. 분석 방법으로 표본 특성에는 SPSS 24를 사용, 확인적 요인 분석, 신뢰도 및 타당도, 경로 분석, 구조방정식 모형에는 SmartPLS 3 통계 프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구 결과로는, 직장 내 괴롭힘은 정서적 고갈에 유의한 정(+)에 영향을 미치며, 정서적 고갈은 조직몰입에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 직장 내 괴롭힘과 조직몰입 사이의 영향 관계에서 정서적 몰입은 부(-)의 방향으로 부분 매개하였고, 정서적 고갈이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향은 사회적 지원의 조절에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 시사점으로는 직장 내 괴롭힘은 정서적 고갈에 영향을 미치므로 괴롭힘을 예방하는 기업의 노력이 절실히 요구되며, 조직 내 상사와의 의사소통을 증진할 수 있는 제도나 커뮤니티를 활용하여 종사자들의 조직몰입을 향상할 수 있음을 시사해 주고 있다.

아동·청소년의 사회적 지지와 칫솔질 실천의 연관성 (Effects of social support on toothbrushing in children and adolescents)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to confirm the relationship between toothbrushing practice after lunch and typical oral health behaviors in children and adolescents according to the subject and type of social support. Methods: The study used data from the 2010 Korean Survey on the Health of Youth and Children and selected 8,704 elementary, middle, and high school students as final targets. Multiple logistic regression was conducted to confirm the link between social support and toothbrushing after lunch. Results: The results showed that in elementary and vocational high school students, statistical significance of all social support variables disappeared after controlling for both demographic and social factors and oral symptom experience. However, in the middle school students, the emotional support of the neighbors and the emotional support of the teachers showed statistically significant effect on brushing daily after lunch (p<0.05). In general high school students, there was a significant association between family emotional support and toothbrushing after lunch (p<0.01). Conclusions: The oral health promotion program for children and adolescents needs to be integrated and coordinated with the overall health promotion program. In particular, it is believed that the school-based program can strengthen the practice of health behaviors by inducing behavioral changes based on the formation of healthy relationships and trust of colleagues and teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to develop social network-based programs including social support such as emotional health and healthy relationships that can be applied among children for oral health promotion.

Taking a Closer Look at Bus Driver Emotional Exhaustion and Well-Being: Evidence from Taiwanese Urban Bus Drivers

  • Background: Urban bus drivers work under conditions that are among the most demanding, stressful, and unhealthy with higher rates of mortality and morbidity as well as absenteeism and turnover. Methods: Drawing on the job demand-resource model, this study investigates the impacts of job characteristics on emotional exhaustion and the effects of emotional exhaustion on job outcomes (including job satisfaction, life satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention) in the context of bus drivers. Results: Using self-reported survey data collected from a sample of 320 Taiwanese urban bus drivers, results reveal that role overload and work-family conflict (as job demand factors) positively relate to emotional exhaustion, and organizational support (as a job resource factor) is negatively associated with emotional exhaustion. Emotional exhaustion has negative effects on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction positively leads to life satisfaction, whereas organizational commitment negatively relates to turnover intention. Conclusion: This study concludes that role overload and work-family conflict as two stressors related to job demands and organizational support as the job resource factor to affect emotional exhaustion which further influence well-being in bus driver context. The moderating effects of both extraversion and neuroticism on the relationship between job demands and emotional exhaustion are evident.

유통업 종사자의 감정노동 영향과 사회적 지원 및 직무자율성의 조절효과 (The Effects of Emotional Labor and Moderating Effect of Social Support and Job Autonomy on Retailing services employee's)

  • This study seeks to identify effects derived from emotional labor in the distribution industry, and draw ways to systematically manage the employees by exploring effects of the emotion work on performance. For the purpose, literature reviews and empirical experiments were conducted to find out effects of emotional labor and false face acting on emotion work and organizational performance and effects of social support and job autonomy on the relationship between emotion work and organizational performance. To verify the hypothesis, we conducted a hierarchical regression analysis and structural equation model analysis using SPSS 20 and AMOS19. The result of the verification in this study is as follows: First, effects of emotional labor on burnout was found to be statistically significant, second, as for the path-coefficient for "emotional labor ${\rightarrow}$ emotion work" and "emotional labor ${\rightarrow}$ job satisfaction" was not statistically significant, while the path-coefficient for "emotional labor ${\rightarrow}$ service level" was found to be statistically significant. Third, effects of emotion work on job satisfaction was found statistically significant, fourth, emotion work on the service level was found statistically significant, fifth, effects of false face acting on emotion work was found statistically significant, sixth, effects of false face acting on burnout was statistically significant, seventh, moderating were found statistically significant and lastly, moderating effects of the relationship between emotion work from job autonomy and organization performance was not verified in job satisfaction, while emotion work, job autonomy, and interaction variable in service level were statistically significant.

외식업 종사자의 직무특성이 직무만족과 스트레스에 미치는 효과와 사회적 지원의 조절효과 (The effects of job characteristics on job satisfaction and stress, and the moderating effect of social support in food service business)

  • This paper reviewed the effects of job characteristics(role conflicts, emotional labor, job importance and job autonomy) on satisfaction and stress, and the moderating effect of social support. Based on 2,982 questionnaires among raw data of Korea Safety and Health Agency's national survey, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) role conflict effect negatively on job satisfaction, and emotional labor, job importance and job autonomy effect positively on job satisfaction. 2) role conflict effect positively on stress, and emotional labor, job importance and job autonomy effect negatively on stress. 3) social support moderates positively 2 relationships-between role conflict and job satisfaction, between job autonomy and job satisfaction, but moderates negatively between job autonomy and stress.

사회적 지원기능이 브랜드 개설 SNS 페이지 소비자 수용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Social Supports on Intention to Use of Brands' SNS Page)

  • Many companies are now trying to utilize SNS (social network service) by building it as marketing communication platform that delivers marketing messages and builds customer relationship. This study investigates the factors affecting consumers' intention to use of brand's SNS identity page (e.g., fan page in Facebook). It specifically focuses on four social support functions -self-esteem, informational, emotional and social networking support-in virtual space. Research model attempts to explore the impact of social supports on brands' SNS identity page adoption with modified technology acceptance model which includes perceived usefulness, ease of use and enjoyment. Empirical study adopts SEM (structural equation modelling) to test research model. The result indicates that perceived ease of use is influenced by informational support, and perceived usefulness is influenced by informational, emotional, and self-esteem support. And perceived enjoyment is influenced by emotional support. In addition, it reveals that there were no significant effects of social networking support on both perceived usefulness and enjoyment. These findings provide managerial implications for attracting potential and actual customers to brand's SNS identity page. And it also suggests the importance of managing sociability in brand's SNS identity page to make it as marketing communication platform.

노인의 주관적 건강과 사회적 지지가 사회적 자본 형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of elderly's Perceived Health and Social Support on Social Capital Formation)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify factors(perceived health and social support) affecting social capital formation of the elderly. Methods: Samples consisted of 184 people aged over 65 years old in one county of Kyungsangbukdo. Data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis. Results: First, social support(both emotional support and instrumental support) were significantly different by economic status. Secondly, regression analysis showed that perceived health affected a positive influence on social capital in Model1, which analyzed only perceived health. However, Model2, which analyzed perceived health and social support(emotional support, instrumental support) at the same time, showed that only instrumental support affected social capital formation. Conclusions: It was suggested to develop customized health promotion and job creation are required for social capital formation of the elderly.
