The purpose of this study is to define the relationships among the emotional labor, job satisfaction, and turnover intention of beauty industry workers. The data for this study were collected through a survey, and a total of 197 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. The survey items were classified into 4 domains: demographic characteristics, emotional labor, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. This study extracted factors that compose each measurement domain to define the impact of emotional labor on job satisfaction or turnover intention. According to the research results, 3 factors - positive norm, sincere behavior, and emotional incongruity - were extracted for emotional labor. Individual aptitude satisfaction and work environment satisfaction were extracted as the factors for job satisfaction, whereas a single factor was extracted for turnover intention. By analyzing the effect of factors related to the emotional labor of beauty in dustry workers on factors related to job satisfaction, results showed that positive norm positively influenced individual aptitude satisfaction, sincere behavior positively influenced individual aptitude satisfaction and work environment satisfaction, and emotional incongruity negatively influenced individual aptitude satisfaction. Among factors related to emotional labor, positive norm and sincere behavior negatively affected turnover intention, whereas emotional incongruity positively influenced turnover intention. With regard to the effect of job satisfaction on the turnover intention of beauty industry workers, results showed that individual aptitude satisfaction and job environment satisfaction negatively (-) affected turnover intention. The results of this study show that people presenting a high level of individual aptitude satisfaction displayed positive job satisfaction, whereas people showing serious emotional incongruity for work presented high turnover intention. This implies that in order to increase the work efficiency of beauty businesses, it is essential to examine and manage the emotional labor of workers as a measure for increasing job satisfaction and lowering turnover.
The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of college life adjustment on emotional intelligence in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 550 dental hygiene students in Daegu from May to June, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, emotional intelligence scale, and student adaptation to college questionnaire using Likert 5 point scale. Data were analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA, post hoc $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation test, and multiple regression test. Results: The mean scores of emotional intelligence 3.40 points and college life adjustment 3.14 points were above average. Every sub-field of emotional intelligence had static correlation, and there was a close correlation between college life adjustment and every specific field. The academic adjustment (r=0.515) and institutional adjustment (r=0.458) showed strong correlation with the emotional intelligence. The higher the emotional intelligence score was, the higher the college life adjustment was. Variables having statistically significant influence on college life adjustment included economic status, major satisfaction, self-emotional, use of emotional and emotional control (37.7%, p<0.001). Conclusions: Emotional intelligence played a significant role in dental hygiene students to adapt well with the demands of college life. The college should provide the efficient programs in the curriculum that helps enhance emotional intelligence of the students.

On the other words, it can be regarded as limited context to physical space responsive to social and environmental changes for the surrounding, and may maximize user experiences. Since emotions tend to be abstract and subjective while architectural space has pretty physical properties, this study attempts to integrate contrastive properties between emotional and architectural spaces to make a real object.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among teachers' resilience, difficulty in emotional regulation, and teaching strategies for behavior problems of children. Methods: A total of 200 day care and kindergarten teachers were surveyed. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. Teachers' resilience showed a positive correlation with teachers' positive prevention and reaction strategies but showed a negative correlation with teachers' negative reaction strategies. Among the teachers' difficulty in emotional regulation, the factor of difficulty for impulsive control and lack of attention showed negative correlations with teachers' prevention and positive reaction strategies. Second, teachers' resilience and difficulty in emotional regulation significantly explained the teaching strategies for children with behavior problems. Teachers' resilience was found to be the most important variable explaining teaching strategies for children with behavior problems. Conclusion/Implications: This study revealed that teachers' resilience and difficulties in emotional regulation were important psychological and emotional characteristics for teachers when teaching children with behavior problems.
The moderators that relieve negative effects of emotional labor have been studied such as job characteristics and situational variables. But as reviewing these studies, they focused on the degree of emotional on certain condition, there's no distinction between that degree and moderating effects. So we should focus on the moderating variables as a organizational involvement. In this study, I hypnotized the mediating effect of job stress between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Then I explored moderating role of 'fairness perception of emotional labor' and 'problem-focused stress coping'. This study tested these relationships using data from 166 employees of domestic security service company. From this data, I found that emotional labor increases job stress and job stress fully mediates the relationship between individual attitude(job satisfaction, turnover intention). And one who perceives display rule fairer, feels less job stress than who is not. Lastly, one who copes more problem-focused when he/she experiences job stress, have less negative effect on turnover intention.
Purpose: This study was to identify the factors that influence the burnout of clinical nurses. Methods: Subjects were 279 nurses in 3 university hospitals at Seoul and Gyunggi province. Verbal communication is the most commonly used mean of communication. A spoken word carries a lot of informations about speakers and their emotional states. In this paper we designed a model to recognize emotional states in a speech, a first phase of two phases in developing a toy machine that recognizes emotional states in a speech. We conducted an experiment to extract and analyse the emotional state of a speaker in relation with speech. To analyse the signal output we referred to three characteristics of sound as vector inputs and they are the followings: frequency, intensity, and period of tones. Also we made use of eight basic emotional parameters: surprise, anger, sadness, expectancy, acceptance, joy, hate, and fear which were portrayed by five selected students. In order to facilitate the differentiation of each spectrum features, we used the wavelet transform analysis. We applied ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) in designing an emotion recognition model from a speech. In our findings, inference error was about 10%. The result of our experiment reveals that about 85% of the model applied is effective and reliable.
