임상치과위생사들의 감정노동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (A Study on Factors Affecting Emotional Labor of Clinical Dental Hygienists)

  • 임상치과위생사들의 감정노동에 미치는 영향 요인을 파악하여 치과위생사들의 감정노동에 대처하는 방안을 마련하고자 2013년 6월부터 9월까지 부산, 경남지역 치과병, 의원에 근무하는 치과위생사를 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 연구대상자의 감정표현의 빈도 수준은 $72.33{\pm}17.78$, 감정표현의 주의성 수준은 $72.76{\pm}13.92$, 감정의 부조화의 수준은 $64.46{\pm}15.16$이었으며, 전체 감정노동 수준은 평균 $69.85{\pm}12.82$였다. 일반적인 특성 및 이직관련 특성에 따라 감정노동에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석한 결과, 결혼상태에서는 감정표현의 빈도가 기혼보다 미혼이 높게 나타났다(p<0.037). 근무기관에서는 감정표현의 빈도는 종합병원 및 대학병원보다 치과병 의원이 높게 나타났으며(p<0.001), 감정표현의 주의성은 치과병원보다 치과의원이 높게 나타났다(p<0.002). 감정의 부조화에서는 치과병원보다 치과의원이 높게 나타났으며(p<0.032), 전체에서는 치과병원과 종합병원 및 대학병원보다 치과의원이 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 이직의도가 있는 군에서 감정표현의 빈도(p<0.001), 감정표현의 주의성(p<0.001), 감정의 부조화(p<0.001), 전체(p<0.001)에서 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 감정노동에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 이직의도(p<0.001)와 근무기관(p<0.001)이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통해 치과위생사들의 감정노동에 이직의도와 근무기관이 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 감정노동을 감소시킬 수 있는 조직적 차원의 개선이 필요하며, 감정노동을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 감성교육프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

항공기 객실승무원의 감정노동, 건강증진생활양식과 건강증진 프로그램 요구도와의 관계 (The Relationships among Needs for Health Promotion Programs according to Emotional Labor and Heathy Lifestyle of Flight Attendants)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to figure out emotional labor, healthy lifestyle, needs for health services of flight attendants and the relationships among needs for health services according to various characteristics of flight attendants. Methods: The participants of this study were 140 flight attendants who work on major and low cost airlines. Data were collected through a questionnaire from 2017 .Jan.~2017. Feb. Data were subsequently analyzed using the SPSS 21 Program. Results: The score of emotional labor was 3.76 surface acting was 3.75 and deep acting was 3.77. The average of healthy lifestyle was 2.41, and the highest was 3.13 of personal relationship and the lowest was 1.91 of eating habits. There is a positive correlation between emotional labor-deep acting and healthy lifestyle. Flight attendants demand health services for physical exercise, stress and emotional labor management, healthy eating habits, emergency treatment, prevention of fatigue, cancer screening, sexual harassment prevention, sex education and etc. Conclusion: These results show that flight attendants need to various interventions for improving healthy lifestyle and reducing emotional labor. It is necessary to develop customized health promotion program suited to their job and general characteristics.

고감성 의류용 직물의 수분이동특성 -섬유소재와 실 특성 및 실험방법에 따른 수분이동특성- (Moisture Transmission Characteristics of Fabric for High Emotional Garments -Moisture Transmission Characteristics according to Fiber Properties, Yarn Characteristics and Test Method-)

  • Moisture transfer characteristics of high emotional garments are important to evaluate wear comfort. Wicking and drying measurement methods are also critical for perspiration absorption and quick dry fabric made of high functional fibers. In this study, the wicking and drying properties of high emotional fabrics made from hybrid composite yarns using CoolMax, Tencel, Bamboo staple fibers and PP. PET CoolMax filaments were also measured and analyzed according to various measuring methods. The wicking property of hybrid composite yarn fabrics by Bireck method was mostly influenced by the structure of hybrid yarns than the absorption rate of constituent fibers; however, both the hygroscopicity of fibers and the composite yarn structure affected the wicking property of the fabrics in the drop method. Concerning drying properties, the KSK 0815B method measuring distilled moisture weight was more relevant to explain the drying characteristics of hybrid yarn fabrics than the KSK 0815A method measuring the time to drying. This study revealed that the drying properties of hybrid yarn fabrics were influenced by the hygroscopicity of constituent fibers, wicking properties of constituent yarns and structure of composite yarns.

대학생의 개인 심리 특성이 안전행동에 미치는 영향 탐색 (An Exploratory Study of the Individual Characteristics Influencing the Safety Behavior of University Students)

  • As a range of accidents happen frequently in our society due to safety insensitivity, researches on individual psychological characteristics related to safety behavior and on safety education are increasing. However, safety behavior research that targets university students as potential employees remains rare. Therefore, this research investigates individual characteristics and psychological factors that affect safety behaviors of university students. Research participants were 131 university students (80 males, 51 females) from the Gyeonggi-do and Chungnam areas. Psychological characteristics (self-regulation, cognitive failure, conscientiousness, and emotional stability) were included as variables that may predict university students' safety behaviors (habits, compliance, mistakes, and violations). The major findings of the study are as follows. Stepwise regression analysis showed conscientiousness was a major predictor explaining safety habits and safety compliance; Cognitive failure and emotional stability were main predictors explaining safety mistakes, and self-regulation was a major predictor explaining safety violations. These findings suggest that development of proper education programs focusing on individual characteristics would allow systematic improvement of safety behaviors of university students.

국내 초등학생 대상 동물 매개 중재에 관한 체계적 문헌 고찰 (The Effect of Animal Assisted Therapy for Elementary Students - A Systematic Review -)

  • This study was attempted to systematically analysis the characteristics and effects of studies that applied animal assisted therapy to elementary students. Literature searches were conducted in 4 domestic academic databases(RISS, KISS, ScienceON, KMBASE). The characteristics of selected 26 studies were individually analyzed and described by publication year, research method, subject characteristics, intervention characteristics, and outcome variables, and the characteristics of the study were systematically summarized. The effect of the assisted therapy was divided into psychological-emotional effect, interpersonal effect, and other effect. Most of the psychological-emotional indicators and interpersonal relationship indicators were found to be effective, and inconsistent results were found for some indicators. It is expected that it can be used as a useful data when conducting assisted therapy studies targeting elementary school students in the future.

백색 제품 디자인을 위한 감성적 특성 연구 (Investigation of the Emotional Characteristics of White for Designing White Based Products)

  • 본 연구에서는 미묘한 차이가 있는 다양한 흰색의 감성을 평가하여 백색가전제품을 디자인함에 있어 제품의 감성과 적합한 흰색을 제시할 수 있는 가이드라인을 개발하였다. 연구는 3가지 실험으로 나누어 진행되었다. 실험 1에서는 문헌조사와 워크샵을 통해 수집한 60가지 감성 어휘 중, 설문을 통해 (N=30) 제품색을 평가하기 적합한 20개의 감성 어휘를 추출하였다. 실험 2에서는 다른 색들과 비교했을 때 흰색의 상대적인 감성적 특성을 알기 위해 I.R.I Hue & Tone 120 system으로부터 선정한 13가지 기본색을 대상으로 실험 1에서 추출한 20개의 감성 어휘에 대해 감성 평가를 진행하였다 (N=30). 이를 요인 분석법을 통해 분석한 결과 4개의 감성 요인 - 화려한, 우아한, 맑은, 부드러운 - 이 추출되었으며, 또한 13색의 감성적 특성을 파악하고 이를 흰색과 비교하였다. 마지막으로 실험 3에서는, 실험 2에서 얻은 4가지 감성 요인을 이용하여 미묘한 차이를 가진 25가지 흰색에 대한 감성 평가를 진행하였다. 실험에 사용된 색채 자극물은 CIE 1976 $L^*a^*b^*$로 측정되었으며, 각각의 L, a, b값이 흰색의 감성적 특성에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 회귀 분석을 사용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 본 실증적 연구들을 통해 우리는 3가지 주요 결과를 얻었다 : 첫째, 제품색을 평가하기 위한 4가지 감성 요인 - 화려한, 우아한, 맑은, 부드러운 - 이 존재한다. 둘째, 흰색은 다른 색보다 우아한 감성이 압도적으로 강하게 표현된다. 셋째, 색의 감성적 특성은 색의 3요소인 색상, 명도, 채도 중 일부분의 조합에 영향을 받는다. 추가적으로, 실험 3의 회귀분석을 통해 공식을 도출하였으며, 이 공식을 사용하여 다양한 흰색의 감성적 특성을 예측할 수 있다.

간호대학생의 사회적지지, 감성지능, 우울과 건강증진행위와의 관계 (A Relationship between the Social Support, Emotional Intelligence, Depression, and Health Promotion Behaviors of Nursing College Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship of between social support, emotional intelligence, depression, and health promotion behaviors of nursing college students, and to establish basic data for the development of a nursing intervention program for health promotion behaviors. Methods: This descriptive correlation study examined the correlation between the social support, emotional intelligence, depression, and health promotion behaviors of nursing students. 203 nursing college students located in J city participated in the study from November to December 2019. The collected data was analyzed used the SPSS WIN 22.0 program. The general characteristics of the subjects were analyzed by frequency and percentage, and health promoting behavior, social support, emotional intelligence, and depression were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. In this study, the correlation between the subjects' social support, emotional intelligence, depression, and health promotion behaviors was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The study results showed that the subjects' health promotion behaviors averaged 2.22±0.38 points out of 4d social support averaged 3.83±0.59 points out of 5, emotional intelligence averaged 4.53±0.73 out of 7, and depression averaged 0.49±0.42 points out of 2 points. The analysis results of correlation between the subject's health promotion behaviors, social support, emotional intelligence, and depression showed that health promotion behaviors and social support (r=.287, p<.001), health promotion behaviors and emotional intelligence (r=.450, p<.001), and social support and emotional intelligence (r=.450, p<.001) had a positive correlation, but depression and health promotion behaviors (r=-.453, p<.001), depression and social support (r=-.259, p<.001), and depression and emotional intelligence (r=-.322, p<.001) had a negative correlation. Conclusion: This study will provide the basic data for a follow-up researches on the social support, emotional intelligence, depression and health promotion behaviors of nursing college students. It is expected to serve as the basic data for developing nursing intervention programs for health promotion behaviors in the future.

서비스 종사자의 개인-직무적합성이 감정지능 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study on Effects of Person-Job Fit of High Touching Service Employees on Emotional Intelligence and Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose - In recent years, management scholars have expressed growing interest in the concept of person-Job fit because of having many benefits for employees' attitudes and behaviors. The related research is needed to determine what specific types of fit are related to each other, and to get important individual outcomes. Person-job fit of employees in service organization plays an important role in company as well as person in service industry. Person-job fit, representing the consistency between person (service provider) and job (service provided to the customers), gives significant and positive effects on the attitude and behavior of service provider. On the basis of the study background, the purpose of this study is as follows. First, we would like to examine the effects of person-job fit of service provider on their emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is divided into four sub-factors such as self-understanding, understanding others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation. Second, we would like to identify the relationships between job satisfaction and sub-factors such as self-understanding, understanding others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation. Research design, data, and methodology - We performed structural equation model using Spss 18.0 and Amos 20.0 in order to verify the hypotheses. Subjects were golf service assistants who were high-touching service with high degree in interaction and long contact time with customers. 178 out of the total 200 surveys were used in evaluation from helpers of golf service working as full-time service provider after selecting two locations of golf course located near Busan. From the evaluation of reliability and validity with variables used in this research, they satisfied and confirmed certain standard. Results - The results are as follows. First, as the results of identifying the relationships between person-job fit and emotional intelligence of service provider, person-job fit did not have positive and significant effect on self-understanding. On the other hand, it affected positively and significantly other factors in emotional intelligence such as emotion to others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation. Second, as the results of identifying the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction, sub-factors in emotional intelligence such as emotion to others, emotional utilization, and emotional regulation except self-emotion affected significantly and positively job satisfaction. However, self-emotion did not have significant and positive effects on job satisfaction. Conclusion - These results will be valuable and used for service providers. In addition, many service providers will recognize that person-job fit is very important to get a job. This research has a purpose on the assumption that appropriateness between individual and task in service industry shall act as major influence in emotional intelligence of service provider. Recognitive ability of service provider is also very important per characteristics of service, but emotional intelligence that interacts and connected directly with most customers can be a very meaningful factor as well. Emotional intelligence allows people to recognize, understand, and empathize the emotion of customers shall be a positive reinforcement for customers to evaluate the service ultimately.

  • The aim of this paper is to investigate some acoustical characteristics of the voice quality features from the emotional speech database. Six different parameters are measured and compared for 6 different emotions (normal, happiness, sadness, fear, anger, boredom) and from 6 different speakers. Inter-speaker variability and intra-speaker variability are measured. Some intra-speaker consistency of the parameter change across the emotions are observed, but inter-speaker consistency are not observed.

보건교사의 행동적 특성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감과 과업중요성을 중심으로 (The Impact of Health Teachers' Behavioral Characteristics on Organizational Commitment: Ffocusing on Self-Efficacy and Task Importance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보건교사의 행동적 특성이 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 탐색하여 각 요인 간의 인과관계에 관해 설명하고자 하였으며, 탐색적 연구로써 대상은 보건교사로 근무하는 약 500명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였으며, 응답지 190개를 회수하였다. SPSS를 이용하여 기술통계를 분석하였고, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 측정모델과 가설을 검정하였다. 분석 결과, 보건교사의 행동적 특성이 이들의 자기효능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 행동적 특성과 자기효능감은 정서적 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 보건교사의 자기효능감은 정서적 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는데, 이는 이들의 행동적 특성이 정서적 몰입에 직접적인 영향을 미친다기보다는 행동적 특성들이 자기효능감이라는 매개변수를 통해 정서적 몰입에 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여준다. 특히, 보건교사의 과업중요성에 대한 인식 정도가 자기효능감과 정서적 몰입에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 보건교사의 역량, 즉 행동적 특성이 자기효능감을 통해 조직몰입에 영향을 미친다는 것을 실증적으로 밝힘으로써 이들의 행동적 특성이 조직몰입으로 전이되는 현상을 설명하였다는 것과 직무 특성인 과업중요성에 대한 인식이 자기효능감과 조직몰입에 영향을 미친다는 것을 실증적으로 밝힌 데 있다. 연구의 결과는 보건교사의 역량 함양과 운영에 대한 방향성을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
