Background: The influence of social capital on the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and related behaviors and perceptions has been recognized during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the trends in social capital using primary data from the Korean Community Health Survey, which is the only available source in Korea for local-level social capital analysis. It also investigates the relationship between various variables, including social capital, as factors influencing COVID-19-related behaviors and perceptions. Methods: The study analyzed the temporal trends of social capital using raw data from four community health surveys conducted in 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021. A multilevel analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between social capital and COVID-19-related behaviors and perceptions following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Results: Social capital consists of trust, bonding social capital, and bridging social capital. Within the trust sub-factor, trust in neighbors (Trust-1) declined after the COVID-19 pandemic, whereas trust in safety and general environment (Trust-2) and trust in medical services and public transportation (Trust-3) increased. Additionally, the gap between municipalities narrowed. COVID-19-related behaviors and perceptions, such as adherence to COVID-19 prevention measures, return to normal activities, and fear of COVID-19, showed improvement in 2021 compared to the previous year. Individual-level trust in neighbors was associated with reduced fear of COVID-19, while community-level trust in neighbors was associated with increased fear of COVID-19. Conclusion: Social capital plays a role in mitigating public health crises, and it is necessary to implement active policies that address the gap in social capital between metropolitan and rural areas. Strengthening risk communication regarding emerging infectious diseases such as COVID-19 is crucial.

Purpose - This study examines previous research on organizational silence for several decades since the concept of organizational silence was firstly suggested in 2000. In this study, based on previous studies on organizational silence published in domestic and international journals from 2010 to 2022, research trends were analyzed, issues were derived, and future research was suggested. Design/methodolgy/approach - The authors searched relevant keywords such as organizational silence, employee silence, employee voice and so on in the domestic as well as international academic database. 63 domestic papers were found, and based on these articles, we analyzed the research trends. Findings - Similar variables were proven with only different contextual samples without any originality in the theoretical perspective. Moreover, studies on the causal relationship between each type of organizational silence and the occurrence of organizational silence over time were also insufficient. In addition, because research on public organizations was limited to police officers and public officials, future research is needed to investigate more different organizational situations. Furthermore, other variables such as personal characteristics and leadership factors were also relatively unexplored. Based on these limitations, future research is needed to consider more diverse demographics, Korean cultural factors, organizational characteristics, and the patterns changes in time. Research implications or Originality - This study suggests limitations as well as future directions by summarizing the previous research on organizational silence which is an emerging issue in global societies and the organizational management filed.

Native plants thrive naturally in specific areas without human intervention, offering significant potential as genetic resources and biotechnological assets across multiple sectors. To harness this potential, our focus was on analyzing domestic patents related to native plants, investigating their uses, effectiveness, active components, and extraction methods. Using the Korea Forest Service's National Standard Plant List, we gathered data from 988 patents on native plants and 430 patents on the use of native plant seeds. This comprehensive patent analysis aimed to reveal research patterns, technology levels, and emerging trends. The goal is to identify research trends, current technology levels, and provide insights for future patent applications involving native plants.

By analyzing the style of creator avatars in the world of Metaverse, which is emerging as a fourth-generation social media platform, this study aims to identify the meta-fashion tastes of Generation Z (Gen Z) creators (born in the late 2010s and early 2020s) and to analyze the extent to which current trends in the fashion market are influencing meta-fashion. The research method uses a case study to compare meta-fashion and current fashion trends. First, five Gen Z fashion creators on ZEPETO were selected to analyze the meta-fashion styles presented by this group. In the end, a total of 100 fashion styles were analyzed by combining 50 items each from the current meta-fashion and real fashion trends. The fashion styles were found to be hip-hop, easy-casual, punk, lovely feminine, and sexy, and the main fashion items were analyzed as jeans, hip-hop style pants, sneakers, tight crop tops, dresses, tattoos, chain accessories, and dyeing. Meta-fashion is the emergence of items similar in shape to those popular in the current fashion market, but are more exaggerated or show off the human body than actual fashion items.

A guest room section is the most important part of the hotel design. It contributes not only to the marketing but also to the effective distribution of the floor plan. This study is to provide the trends of the plan type of the guest rooms at the luxury resort hotels in Jeju-do through analyzing the typical floor plan type and surveying the area distribution of the guest room section. The purpose of the study is to provide the basic materials for the improvement of the quality of hotel guest rooms in Jeju-do, which is emerging as the international tourism destination of 21C. Here, we make the 13 luxury resort hotels in Jeju-do an subject of the study. They are divided into three grades by the size, quality, and the service.

Progressing of Web2.0 and social digitalization are lead to changing citizens participation and citizen centric service of civic service. To meet this trends that is online collaboration and sharing, citizen's service that provides our government, also need to changing web2.0 style. This paper argues that government could now grasp the opportunities that are emerging in terms of web2.0 Current policy and action is not yet adequate to grasp these opportunities. So this study focused on strategies of civil services based on web2.0 using NCIA(National Computerization Integrated Agency) cases. For the purpose, we analyze former researches related with civil service. And then, we propose web2.0 adaptation strategies for NCIA.

With the rapid increase of social network usage, there are emerging trends of adopting social information among online users in building recommendation system. This study aims to investigate whether the additional usage of social information can improve recommendation performance in recommendation system and how much the improvement can be different according to the product involvement level. As an experiment result, social information does not affect positively to the recommendation accuracy but affect significantly to the recommendation quality. Also social information contributed more sensitively to the improvement of recommendation quality in high product involvement domain.

Internet-based EDI is emerging as a prominent substitute technology for traditional VAN-based EDI technology. The strength of this new technology is based on the explosive growth of Internet community, low "fixed-rate" Internet expense and "globally" open base of its participants. These strengths of Internet-baed EDI bring vast new opportunities for enterprises and thus. have as much implications for IT managers. However, Internet-based EDI technology has, at least by now, several drawbacks too. Most of these drawbacks also comes from the fact that it has its structural base on the Internet. Managers should carefully consider these drawbacks and hidden costs before adopting or switching to this attractive new technology. This presentation attempts to address major trends of Internet-based EDI and its implementation, opportunities and threats of the changes in technology, factors to consider in adopting this technology, and several managerial and strategic tradeoffs and implications of Internet-based EDI for IT managers.

국가 경제의 지속적인 발전이 가능하게 하려면 미래 유망기술의 발굴이 중요함은 널리 알려져 있다. 하지만, 과학기술의 융 복합화와 불확실성의 증가 그리고 기존 기술의 틀을 깨는 혁신적 기술의 등장 등으로 인해서 실효성 높은 미래 유망기술의 발굴이 어려워지고 있다. 미래 유망기술 선점을 위해서는 fast follower 전략에서 first mover 형으로 전환이 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 기술태동 초기의 weak signal을 파악해야 한다. 지금까지 weak signal 탐지는 주로 전문가 기반으로 이루어져 왔으나 분석 시간이 오래 걸릴 뿐만 아니라 대상 분야가 넓어지고 분석할 데이터의 양이 급격히 증가하면서 정량적 데이터 분석을 보완적으로 사용하는 방향으로 패러다임의 변화가 일어나고 있다. 하지만, 텍스트 분석을 통한 weak signal 탐지기술은 아직 기초적인 수준에 머물러 있어서 관련 연구에 대한 투자가 필요하다.

Trends in semiconductor equipment industry are to reduce the cost of producing semiconductor, semiconductor process development, facility development, and the minimum investment in terms of cost and quality. Semiconductor equipments are being considered to review and development is proceeding at the same time. In the first part of the semiconductor assembly process, in which the importance of die bonding process is emerging, a wide leadframe type die bonding machine is demanded for productivity. Die bonding machine was designed through experiments and by trial and error. It costs a lot of time and financial burden. The purpose of this study is to solve these problems by using the CAE tool 3G. By using finite element method, thermal analysis of die bonding machine to the various widths leadframe die bonder machine rail is performed for design.
