Despite skepticism about commercial potential, the stereoscopic 3D cinema is still a form that any filmmaker can choose to employ for its aesthetics and its immersive potential. Based on a haptic illusion, the stereoscopic media content requires a new perspective different from the principle of 2D media content in terms of creation and acceptance. This paper examines the technical and aesthetic issues of stereoscopic 3D film production from the perspective of today's emerging realistic and immersive media through a case study. One of the key factors for successful content creation and research and development in stereoscopic 3D cinema is the combination of artistic principles together with technical mastering of the new image technology. The purpose of this paper is to outline the principal challenges and research topics in stereoscopic 3D cinema through a case study of stereoscopic 3D pilot film production for the 'User-Selective UHD Stereoscopic Media Service Platform' of the ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute). This paper intends to examine stereoscopic 3D filmmaking workflow and production methodologies, as well as technical elements and aesthetic issues.
The interaction between technology and tourism has been a dynamic research area recently. This study aims to review the progress and development of technology in tourism research via a bibliometric analysis. We derive the source data from the Web of Science (WoS) core collection and use CiteSpace for bibliometric analysis, including countries, institutions, authors, categories, references, and keywords. The analysis results are as follows: i) The number of published articles on the role of technology in tourism has increased in recent years. ii) Technology-related articles in tourism are abundant in Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, and Annals of Tourism Research. iii) The countries with the most contributions are China, the US, and the UK. The most active institutions are the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Central Florida, Bournemouth University, University of Queensland, and Kyung Hee University. iv) The reference analysis results identify eight extensively researched topics from the most cited papers, and the keyword burst analysis results present an emerging trend. This study identifies the effect and development of technology in tourism research. Our findings provide implications for researchers about the current research focus of technology and the future research trend of technology in the tourism field.
The media has depicted an abrupt socio-technological change in the Republic of Korea with the 4th Industrial Revolution. Because technologies cannot realize their potential without social acceptance, studying conflicts incurred by such a change is imperative. However, little literature has focused on conflicts caused by technologies. Therefore, the current study investigated media coverage regarding conflicts related to the 4th Industrial Revolution from 2016 to 2020 in the Republic of Korea, applying text-mining techniques. We found that the overall amount and coverage pattern conforms to the issue attention cycle. Also, the three major topics ("SMEs & Startups," "Mobility Conflict," and "Human & Technology") indicate quarrels between conflicting social entities. Moreover, the temporal change in media coverage implies the political use of the term rather than technological. However, we also found the media's deliberative discussion on the socio-technological impact. This study is significant because we expanded the discussion on media coverage of technologies to the realm of social conflicts. Furthermore, we explored the news articles of the recent five years with a text-mining approach that enhanced the objectivity of the research.

As the Internet of Things (IoT) continues to permeate every facet of modern life, the imperative to secure this vast and dynamic frontier becomes increasingly paramount. This presents a comprehensive exploration of the challenges and opportunities inherent in safeguarding the interconnected web of IoT devices. The research critically examines the limitations of current cybersecurity measures through an extensive review of diverse topics, including IoT network performance, smart grid security, and the escalating cyber threats against critical infrastructures. A meticulous analysis of research findings underscores the need for enhanced infrastructure and ongoing research to fortify the cybersecurity mechanisms surrounding IoT objects. We underline the imperative of relentless research efforts to parry the advancing threats and leverage the promise of nascent technologies. Our findings affirm the pivotal influence of robust cybersecurity measures in crafting a resiliently connected ecosystem. The paper underscores the importance of ongoing research to address evolving threats and harness the potential of emerging technologies, reaffirming the central role of cybersecurity in shaping a secure interconnected world. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of cybersecurity on the IoT frontier. It unveils a complex landscape of challenges, ranging from network performance intricacies to the security concerns of critical infrastructures.
Original scripts of e-learning lectures for the CEOs of corporation S were analyzed using topic analysis, which is a text mining method. Twenty-two topics were extracted based on the keywords chosen from five-year records that ranged from 2011 to 2015. Research analysis was then conducted on various issues. Promising topics were selected through evaluation and element analysis of the members of each topic. In management and economics, members demonstrated high satisfaction and interest toward topics in marketing strategy, human resource management, and communication. Philosophy, history of war, and history demonstrated high interest and satisfaction in the field of humanities, whereas mind health showed high interest and satisfaction in the field of in lifestyle. Studies were also conducted to identify topics on the proportion of content, but these studies failed to increase member satisfaction. In the field of IT, educational content responds sensitively to change of the times, but it may not increase the interest and satisfaction of members. The present study found that content production for CEOs should draw out deep implications for value innovation through technology application instead of simply ending the technical aspect of information delivery. Previous studies classified contents superficially based on the name of content program when analyzing the status of content operation. However, text mining can derive deep content and subject classification based on the contents of unstructured data script. This approach can examine current shortages and necessary fields if the service contents of the themes are displayed by year. This study was based on data obtained from influential e-learning companies in Korea. Obtaining practical results was difficult because data were not acquired from portal sites or social networking service. The content of e-learning trends of CEOs were analyzed. Data analysis was also conducted on the intellectual interests of CEOs in each field.
Food contaminants are an emerging issue because food is highly influential to human health. Delphi survey was performed to establish the plan for effective management of food contaminants. Fifty experts from academia, research institute, government and food industries on food safety and policy participated in this study. From open-end questions 161 topics were collected and classified into five areas and 42 topics as the first round. The five areas were 'the integrated management system on food contaminants', 'safety management of food contaminants derived from environment', 'safety management of natural toxins contaminated on foods', 'safety management of hazardous substances produced during food processing' and 'construction of cooperative system and public relationship'. At the second round, after analyzing the replies (30/50 replied) the preliminary order was obtained and it was confirmed at the third round (24/30 replied). We suggest the order of priority for required research area of food contaminants considering the importance and urgency of the research.
The purpose of this study is to summarize recent research on new product development (NPD) and to examine the direction of future research on NPD. In recent years, product development has also become more diversified due to the formation and disappearance of new markets, the increasing commoditization of products, and the emergence of new technological infrastructures such as ICT and crowdsourcing. In addition, NPD research is also in a situation where new research is emerging along with the progress of research in related areas, such as open innovation and customer participation. On the other hand, research on NPD has become increasingly fragmented into themes related to NPD as research progresses, making it more difficult to grasp the overall picture of NPD research, although review articles on NPD have been written. Not many review articles have been written in a way that goes beyond the individual themes of NPD research. However, even though it is impossible to look at NPD research as a whole, this study believe that by daring to conduct an exhaustive review of recent NPD research, rather than individual issues, and by understanding the types of discussions that have taken place in recent NPD research, this study can identify areas that require further discussion. Based on the above, the purpose of this study is to comprehensively examine and organize the topics and issues that have been dealt with in recent NPD research, point out the topics that have not been adequately dealt with in previous research, and indicate the direction of future research. This study found that (1) half of the previous studies this study reviewed dealt with the topic of collaboration in NPD, (2) existing studies on NPD assume that the purpose of NPD is to gain competitive advantage through differentiation, but the formation of the market itself through NPD has not been discussed However, it became clear that there has been no discussion of the formation of the market itself through NPD. While the formation and disappearance of new markets has become a common phenomenon in recent years as the competitive environment changes more and more rapidly, the formation of new markets through NPD may also be discussed as a new research area of NPD. However, the formation of new markets through NPD could be discussed as a new research area of NPD. This study examined the possibility of discussing the formation of new markets through NPD by using market category studies.

The purpose of this study is to examine the extent of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-related research in the field of entrepreneurship globally since the adoption of the SDGs at the UN General Assembly, and to compare international and domestic research trends in order to determine the direction of SDGs-related research in entrepreneurship in Korea. Utilizing three databases-Web of Science (WoS), KCI, and DBpia- SDGs-related studies in entrepreneurship were extracted by employing specific search terms. After data purification, a total of 356 studies abroad and 4 studies in Korea were used for analysis. After data purification, a total of 356 international studies and 4 Korean studies were analyzed. Due to the limited number of domestic studies, the research trends were examined by conducting frequency analysis and keyword network analysis on international studies alone. Frequency analysis revealed that SDGs research in entrepreneurship primarily focused on sustainability-related terms and was conducted in conjunction with business models, innovation, entrepreneurship education, and strategies. Furthermore, yearly frequency analysis demonstrated an expansion of topics to encompass research on entrepreneurship and SDGs policies, the roles and capabilities of female entrepreneurs in SDGs implementation, energy start-ups and SDGs, directions for implementing SDGs in business schools and SDGs education, indicators for SDGs implementation and evaluation, and technologies for sustainability. The keyword network analysis identified central topics such as business, sustainability, SDGs, innovation, entrepreneurship, business models, and education, with research areas extending to entrepreneurship ecosystems, change and strategy, ethics, and climate. This study holds significance in establishing a foundation for SDGs research in entrepreneurship, which is currently an underexplored area in Korea, by presenting emerging research trends related to SDGs in entrepreneurship.
Globalization, increasing technological advancements and dynamic knowledge diffusion are moving our world closer together at a unique scale and pace. At the same time, our rapidly changing society is confronted with major challenges ranging from demographic to economic ones; challenges that necessitate highly innovative solutions, forcing us to reconsider the way that we actually innovate and create shared value. As such the linear, centralized innovation models of the past need to be replaced with new approaches; approaches that are based upon an open and collaborative, global network perspective where all innovation actors strategically network and collaborate, openly distribute their ideas and co-innovate/co-create in a global context utilizing our society's full innovation potential (Innovation 4.0 - Open Innovation 2.0). These emerging innovation paradigms create "an opportunity for a new entrepreneurial renaissance which can drive a Cambrian like explosion of sustainable wealth creation" (Curley 2013). Thus, in order to materialize this entrepreneurial renaissance, it is critical not only to value but also to actively employ this new innovation paradigms so as to derive community-driven shared value that stems from global innovation networks. This paper argues that there is a gap in existing business incubation model that needs to be filled, in that the innovation and entrepreneurship community cannot afford to ignore the emerging innovation paradigms and rely upon closed incubation models but has to adopt an "open incubation" (Ziouvelou 2013). The open incubation model is based on the principles of open innovation, crowdsourcing and co-creation of shared value and enables individual users and innovation stakeholders to strategically network, find collaborators and partners, co-create ideas and prototypes, share their ideas/prototypes and utilize the wisdom of the crowd to assess the value of these project ideas/prototypes, while at the same time find connections/partners, business and technical information, knowledge on start-up related topics, online tools, online content, open data and open educational material and most importantly access to capital and crowd-funding. By introducing a new incubation phase, namely the "interest phase", open incubation bridges the gap between entrepreneurial need and action and addresses the wantpreneurial needs during the innovation conception phase. In this context one such ecosystem that aligns fully with the open incubation model and theoretical approach, is the VOICE ecosystem. VOICE is an international, community-driven innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem based on open innovation, crowdsourcing and co-creation principles that has no physical location as opposed to traditional business incubators. VOICE aims to tap into the collective intelligence of the crowd and turn their entrepreneurial interest or need into a collaborative project that will result into a prototype and to a successful "crowd-venture".
Purpose - The Millennial Generation, which grew in the wake of the spread of the Internet and rapid changes in the media environment, is rapidly moving from the traditional broadcasting environment to the Internet-broadcasting environment in terms of content acceptance. With the emergence of UGC (User-generated content), the change in the status of single-person content creators enables the growth of multi-channel networks (MCN), a new content-distribution platform and an agency concept for single creators. Youtube-based MCN produces multiple single star producers and casts and provides its own video series through Youtube. It is also emerging as a major M&A target for global media providers in terms of providing content to a wide range of consumers with the same interests and consumption characteristics. In addition, for the Millennials generation, which are part of their lives, MCN is becoming the most suitable media for TGIF (Twitter, Google, i-phone, Facebook). Accordingly, this study defines newly emerging MCNs and analyzes the factors for accepting MCN-produced content based on the push-pull-mooring (PPM) model. Research design, data, and methodology - An empirical analysis is performed through a questionnaire survey. For this purpose, 204 people who have experience of watching MCN were studied. Collected data is processed through analysis of a structural equation model using R to test the hypothesis. Results - For the MCN service to become an alternative to existing media, it is necessary to continuously promote cultural diversity and diversity of attempts that conventional media cannot provide. It is the attractiveness of the alternative that has the greatest influence on the intention to switch to a MCN service. When we look at MCN content so far, certain patterns such as game progress, introduction, food, and chat rooms have already appeared. We need to overcome this and develop a completely new conceptual content that we have never seen before. This requires a more generous viewer perception of the topics covered. For diversity, linguistic and verbal violence should be tolerant in common sense to provide a foundation for securing cultural diversity. Conclusions - In this study, we tried to develop a comprehensive approach to the substitution effect of MCN. In terms of academic achievement, the PPM model is used to enhance the utilization of media and broadcasting. Practical implications are to provide an analytical framework for verifying alternative or complementary effects when viewers switch to MCN.
