The Development of Industry Operation Control System using Intelligent Web Monitoring for the Heat Treatment Process (열처리공정의 지능형 웹 모니터링 산업용 공정제어 시스템 개발)

  • Because of advanced control technology, Shop floor control system of various kinds of equipment and machinery need a web based remote monitoring to control process efficiently. This paper presents the development of Operation Control System. Operation Control System(OCS) is based on intelligent web monitoring, so that OCS is improved the working condition for the line of heat treatment process and the product's quality. The developed OCS is consisted of Atmega128(MCU) based on embedded system, running the data logging of the line of heat treatment process. Web monitoring system is based on CS8900 ethernet controller and TCP/IP for remote monitoring responsibility between a server and clients and controlling the progress of entire system. The developed OCS is implemented on the line of heat treatment process and shows the improvement of environment condition, product's quality and efficiency of process line.

  • We made a HTTP server using 8 bit microprocessor. It was TMP84C015 which applied a 180 core and RTL8019AS was installed for an ethernet physical layer. Assembly language was used to optimize a performance of the MPU, to overcome an restriction of memory size and to maximize the throughput of packet using TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP and ARP protocol. We used LabVIEW to verified the each protocol on the client side.

  • Recently, Smart Home System(SHS) is applied in order to provide comfort, energy efficient and better security to the residence. Thus, by introducing the SHS in the house of elderly people, it is possible to provide a convenient and safe life for old people especially living alone. This paper presents the design and implementation of a low cost but yet flexible and secure smart-phone based SHS. The design is based on inter-working between Arduino board with Bluetooth and Arduino board with Ethernet shield, and the home monitor/appliances are connected to the input/output ports of this board via sensors/relays. In addition, when the old man is put on an emergency, the proposed system will automatically notify it the family. Therefore, we have implemented an inexpensive and efficient SHS for the elderly living alone by inter-working smart phones, internet server and Arduino micro-controller.

  • A micro embedded did the task to be simply the sequent at the past. The necessity of an embedded operating system did not exist in the reason. We satisfy the complication of the system and operating system have been desired for the officer of the process. The necessity of the process of real-time processing increased also with fast response time to users, The porting follows and have been composed of an real-time embedded operating system. We can control the control unit with the sensor to be established in the building, An embedded web sever to use the resource of the at least is appering a networking facility of interaction. In this paper, The web sever to be implemented in a purity software. We draw data for the thing to implement overall demo to the remote through Internet and We put the point even though we organized the frame to control this. we have successfully ported linux on an embedded system, which is based on intel StrongARM SA-1110 processor, then written several network modules of ethernet-based network device.

  • This paper explains the design and development of the stand-alone high sound quality Internet Radio system, which is aimed for a small embedded type audio device rather than a general PC type. This device is designed to work with an Internet connection. This kind of system is not standardized so far, and also the related algorithm is not open to the public. So it is necessary to analyze several receiving algorithms of current radio receivers, and develop our own hardware in order to overcome these obstacles, finally to get the high quality of sound radio. The main electronic components of this Internet Radio are TCP/IP interfaces, an audio MP3 decoder, an I/O interface, and a Flash Memory Card with advanced audio multicasting for the next-generation Internet Radio. Basic structures and implementation issues of the next-generation most-versatile digital music player, and Internet Radio receivers, are discussed.

  • 정보화 사회와 함께 인터넷 사용 환경의 급속한 확산과 더불어 TCP/IP 네트워크에 기반한 네트워크 및 통신 인프라 환경이 급속히 발전하고 있다. 이는 여타 산업 분야에도 확산되기 시작하였다. 이에 따라 정보화 산업 네트워킹 기술과 결합하여, 공장 및 각종 산업 현장에서도 개방형 표준인 Ethernet과 TCP/IP를 도입하려는 시도가 다양한 응용분야에서 나타나고 있다. 이는 산업현장에 새로운 방향을 모색케 하여 기족의 PLC-Base의 시스템을 PC-Base의 시스템으로 전환시켜주는 촉매제가 되었다. PC-Base 시스템이 다양한 기능과 장점을 가지고 PLC를 대체해 나가고 있으며 PLC 장치도 새로운 환경에 맞춰 소형화, 지능화, 및 네트워킹 기능을 강화하여 새로이 발전하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 산업 현장의 움직임에 맞추어 PLC를 사용하는 산업 현장의 자동화 기기에 대하여 기존 PLC 장치를 그대로 유지토록 하며, 기존 기기들의 한계를 극복하고, PC-Based 시스템을 구현하여 TCP/IP 네트워크 연결이 불가능한 장치들을 네트워크 연결로 통합 관리 시스템 구현을 가능토록 하려 한다. 이를 위하여 PC-Based 제어 시스템 환경에서 얻을 수 있는 이점을 위해, 임베디드 기반의 Windows CE TCP/IP 서버를 구현하는 방안을 제시한다.

  • Internet is absolutely contributed to information technology revolution nowadays. Internet services such as voice and data, etc. are provided home or small office via home gateway. The development of communication equipment via home gateway is implemented rapidly, and its product various. This paper presents the design and implementation of the VoIP equipment including the telephone function based on the embedded environment and being connected to the home gateway and the PC because of taking 2-ethernet LAN ports. As developing environment, the STLC1502 developed at ST Microelectronics as single chip solution, VxWorks as RTOS, and C language as coding mechanism are used. The verification of the developed systems for the voice test is carried out for the gatekeeper via Internet. The performance parameter is considered as the call processing capacity measuring the time of the call setup and clearing, and the data processing capacity for the file transfer. As a call setup and clearing is about 95ms, the call processing capacity is about 10 calls per second. The data processing capacity is 5.7Mbps in case of file transfer of server and client environment. Therefore the performance result is satisfied in the aspect of the call processing time and the data transfer time in Internet.
