Electrical power distribution is consists of high voltage, low voltage and motor control center(MCC). Motor control centers involves turning the motor on and off, it is configured electronic over current relay to detect a motor overcurrent flows. Existing electronic over current relay detects electrical fault such as overcurrent, undercurrent, phase sequence, negative sequence current, current unbalance and earth fault. However, it is difficult to detect mechanical fault such as locked rotor, motor stator and rotor and bearing fault. In this paper, we propose a condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system for electrical and mechanical fault detection of rotating machinery. The proposed system is designed with signal input and control part, system interface part and data acquisition board for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, it was possible to detect electrical fault and mechanical fault through measurement and control of insulation resistance, locked rotor, MC counter and bearing temperature.

Relay systems have recently gained attentions because of its capability of cell coverage extension and the power gain as the one of key technologies for 5G. Relays can be exploited for small-cell base stations and the autonomous network, where communication devices communicate with each other cooperatively. Therefore, the relay technology is expected to enable the low power and large capacity communication. In order to maximize the benefits of using a limited number of relays, the efficient relay selection method is required. Especially, when two nodes exchange their data with each other via relay, the relay selection can maximize the average data rate by the spatial location of the relay. For this purpose, the average data rate is analyzed first according to the relay selection. In this paper, we analyzed the average data rate when two nodes exchange their data via dual-hop decode and forward relaying considering the interference by the concurrent transmission under Nakagami-m fading channel. The correctness of the analysis is verified by the Monte Carlo simulation. The results show that the concurrent transmission is superior to the non-concurrent transmission in the high required data rate region rather than in the low required data rate region.

Recently, network coding has been actively studied to increase the spectral efficiency of two-way relay wireless channels such as cellular systems as well as broadcasting systems. In this paper, we derive the average transmission capacity and the outage probability of a network coding system, which utilizes two-way data transmission via the best relay rather than multiple relays. Since the data unbalance between the forward and the reverse link in two-way communication systems exists, we include the asymmetric link as well as the symmetric link in the analysis. It is noticed that the space diversity gain increases as the increase of the number of relays. Also we obtain 11.4 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gain with 9 relays compared to that with single relay in symmetrical link at the given conditions. In asymmetrical links, we denotes that the outage probability is more sensitive to the number of relays rather than data unbalance between the links.

Recently, Cognitive radio (CR) has been focused for the effective utilization of the limited spectrum. Since an overlay CR system shares the given spectrum with the unlicensed system simultaneously, its spectral efficiency is high. However, most of the studies on an overlay CR system have been focused on the performance enhancement of the licensed receiver (LR). Correspondingly, the performance of the unlicensed receiver (UR) is degraded. Therefore, we propose an overlay CR NOMA system to improve the performance both of the LR and UR, which has a selected relay for the UR and adjusts the power allocation for the LR. The analytical performance of the proposed system is derived and verified the results through simulation. It is noticed that the UR can be obtained signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gains by the selected relay, consequently, the system performance can be improved. Also, we show that the performance of the proposed system can be controlled by the number of the relays as well as the power allocation ratio. The results reveal that the required performance of the system can be satisfied with the use of the selected relay under the limited transmit power.

This paper has proposed 1-2-1 coded cooperative communication that is a combination of STBC and ARQ. Coded cooperative communication is a protocol that integrates channel coding with cooperative communication. In this paper consider convolution encoder. ARQ method can increase the spectral efficiency than conventional cooperative communication because if the received signal from source node is satisfied by the destination preferentially, the destination transmits ACK message to both relay node and source node and then recovers the received signal. Where each relay 1, 2 forwards a punctured portion of receive data. When relay transmit to destination apply STBC the reliability to increase. Moreover this protocol can get better BER performance of receiver using simple comparator. We verified BER performance for the proposed protocol through Monte-Carlo simulation over Rayleigh fading plus AWGN.

Using the wireless communication among unacquainted vehicles, an intelligent vehicle safety system can be constructed to exchange vehicle safety-related information, such as urgency stop, traffic accident and road obstacles. In the majority of vehicle safety applications, vehicle safety messages are propagated in the form of broadcast. However, this approach causes some effectiveness and performance problems with massive radio collision, multi-hop propagation. This paper presents a priority based relay node selection method for propagating vehicle safety messages of traffic accident protection system. With this method, vehicle safety messages are relayed by a node that locates in proper distance out of the nodes that are included in the radio transmission range. By decreasing the number of duplicated messages, the packet overhead is lessened while the communication performance is raised. The proposed method was proven to be better than other schemes through network simulations.

u-safety service system inter-works with the diverse operation agencies, through CCTV network, such as the emergency call terminal with built-in GPS, the mobile communication network, u-safety service provider, relay system and CCTV control center. In the case of the emergency call, this service searches the location of caller in real time, and then continues to search the location of caller through the control of CCTV in the searched place, and can provide the several agencies like guardian, police office, fire station, hospitals, relief organizations and municipalities, with the diverse information necessary for the secure rescue through SMS and wired network. In this paper, a new protocol and specification for u-safety service relay system is designed and implemented. The effectiveness of presented protocol is verified by computer simulation. The designed protocol of u-safety service is applied to real 3GPP and 3GPP2 mobile communication networks to verify its performance.

In this paper, by using D2D communications that perform direct communications among devices within small transmission range of each device without base station, we assume that a device generates and transmits data packets to other proximate devices and the devices which receive the data packets relay those to other adjacent devices. To maximize the total number of devices which successfully receive data packets, Epidemic routing protocol is considered in this paper. In Epidemic routing protocol, all devices which received data packets try to relay the packets to other adjacent devices. We assume various network environment where devices are densely distributed in specific area(crowded area). In this environment, D2D SD can be a source node and D2D devices can be relay nodes. By setting transmission range of D2D SD and D2D devices as parameters, we analyze performance results of coverage probability of Epidemic routing protocol through intensive simulations.

In this paper, we study the opportunistic cooperation scheme that improves the outage performance through the efficient selection between a cooperative mode and a non-cooperative mode. Especially, in decode-and-forward relaying systems, we analyze the outage performance for the opportunistic cooperation using partial relay selection, where closed-form expressions of exact and asymptotic outage probabilities are derived assuming independent and identically distributed Rayleigh fading channels. In the numerical results, we verify the derived expressions, and investigate the outage performances for various target data rates and different numbers of relays. Also, we compare the outage performances of the conventional cooperation scheme and the opportunistic cooperation scheme.
