Investigating vibration behavior of smart imperfect functionally graded beam subjected to magnetic-electric fields based on refined shear deformation theory

  • In this disquisition, an exact solution method is developed for analyzing the vibration characteristics of magneto-electro-elastic functionally graded (MEE-FG) beams by considering porosity distribution and various boundary conditions via a four-variable shear deformation refined beam theory for the first time. Magneto-electroelastic properties of porous FG beam are supposed to vary through the thickness direction and are modeled via modified power-law rule which is formulated using the concept of even and uneven porosity distributions. Porosities possibly occurring inside functionally graded materials (FGMs) during fabrication because of technical problem that lead to creation micro-voids in FG materials. So, it is necessary to consider the effect of porosities on the vibration behavior of MEE-FG beam in the present study. The governing differential equations and related boundary conditions of porous MEE-FG beam subjected to physical field are derived by Hamilton's principle based on a four-variable tangential-exponential refined theory which avoids the use of shear correction factor. An analytical solution procedure is used to achieve the natural frequencies of porous-FG beam supposed to magneto-electrical field which satisfies various boundary conditions. A parametric study is led to carry out the effects of material graduation exponent, porosity parameter, external magnetic potential, external electric voltage, slenderness ratio and various boundary conditions on dimensionless frequencies of porous MEE-FG beam. It is concluded that these parameters play noticeable roles on the vibration behavior of MEE-FG beam with porosities. Presented numerical results can be applied as benchmarks for future design of MEE-FG structures with porosity phases.

옻나무 추출물 중 우루시올 동종체의 함량비 분석 (The analysis of the urushiol congeners from the extracts of lacquer trees)

  • 옻나무는 아시아지역 전역에 주로 분포하며 예로부터 도료 및 약용 식물로 많이 사용되어져 왔었다. 특히 우리나라에서 재배되는 옻나무가 그 기능이 더욱 우수하다고 알려져 있는데 그 원인은 명확히 밝혀진 바가 없다. 우선 옻나무에서 우루시올의 추출을 위하여 나무는 soxhlet의 방법으로, 옻나무 추출물은 liquid-liquid extraction (LLE)의 방법을 이용하여 각각의 우루시올을 추출하였으며, 추출한 각 성분들은 high performance liquid chromatography/ultraviolet & visible detector system (HPLC/UV-Vis)에 먼저 적용하여 분리의 최적 조건을 찾았다. 그리고 각 성분에 대한 정확한 분석을 위하여 reverse phase liquid chromatography on-line electro spray ionization mass spectrometer (LC-MS/MS)를 이용하였으며 이를 바탕으로 분자량에 따른 성분 확인과 함량을 연구하였다. 이동상의 조건으로는 methanol : 0.1% formic acid : DDW를 929 : 1 : 70의 부피비로 사용하여 최적의 분리 조건을 얻었다. 이러한 LC의 조건으로 다시 LC-MS/MS에 적용하여 MRM의 방식으로 각각의 함량을 구할 수 있었다. 분자량에 따라 총 4종류의 우루시올 동종체들이 존재를 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 한국산 옻나무 추출물의 경우 외국산 옻나무의 것 보다 곁사슬에 이중결합이 많은 우루시올 동종체의 함량이 많이 존재하며 그 전체적 비율이 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다.

  • The brake-by-wire technology is a new automotive chassis system that allows standard braking operations by electronic components with lighter weights and faster response. The brake-by-wire units such as EMB (Electro-Mechanical Brake) are controlled by electronic sensors and actuators and, thus, the fault diagnosis is essential for implementation. In this study, a model-based fault diagnosis system is developed for the sensors based on the analytical redundancy method. The fault detection algorithm is verified in simulations for various faulty cases. A test bench is built including the EMB unit and the performance of the proposed fault diagnosis system is evaluated through the experiment.

Free vibration analysis of thick cylindrical MEE composite shells reinforced CNTs with temperature-dependent properties resting on viscoelastic foundation

  • The present study aims to analyze the magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) vibration of a functionally graded carbon nanotubes reinforced composites (FG-CNTRC) cylindrical shell. Electro-magnetic loads are applied to the structure and it is located on an elastic foundation which is simulated by visco-Pasternak type. The properties of the nano-composite shell are assumed to be varied by temperature changes. The third-order shear deformation shells theory is used to describe the displacement components and Hamilton's principle is employed to derive the motion differential equations. To obtain the results, Navier's method is used as an analytical solution for simply supported boundary condition and the effect of different parameters such as temperature variations, orientation angle, volume fraction of CNTs, different types of elastic foundation and other prominent parameters on the natural frequencies of the structure are considered and discussed in details. Design more functional structures subjected to multi-physical fields is of applications of this study results.

  • 본 연구는 ECG 신호를 이용하여 AR/VR 장치 사용 중에 발생할 수 있는 스트레스와 심장 상태에 따른 위험 예측을 위한 실시간 분석 시스템을 개발하였다. 제안 방법에는 ECG 신호의 R-R 간격을 이용한 HRV, BPM 측정법과 선행연구를 이용하여, 2차원 공간의 대치방법을 통해 실시간 진단방법을 제안하였다. 5분단 위로 ECG 데이터를 분석하고 자율신경계 진단 결과로 도출했다.

  • This paper presents the shape optimization to minimize the BEMF(Back Electro-Motive Force) harmonics of PM type synchronous generators. RSM(Response Surface Methodology) is well adapted to make analytical model for a complex problem considering a lot of interaction of design variables. In this paper, RSM is used to find the optimal solution. The 2D-Finite Element Method is used to obtain the observer data of the BEMF and SQP(Sequential Quadratic Problem method) is used to solve the constrained nonlinear optimization problem.

수열합성법으로 합성된 산화아연 나노 구조 박막의 광촉매적 응용 (Hydrothermally Synthesis Nanostructure ZnO Thin Film for Photocatalysis Application)

  • 산화아연은 다양한 나노 구조와 특유의 특성으로 인하여 여러 분야에서 많은 관심을 받고있는 물질이다. 산화아연을 합성하는 다양한 방법 중에서, 수열합성법은 간단하고 친환경적인 장점을 가지고 있다. 나노 구조를 가지는 산화아연 박막은 수열합성법을 통하여 FTO 전극 위에 제작되었다. 성장된 산화아연은 X-ray diffraction (XRD)와 Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM)을 통하여 분석되었다. XRD 분석에서 산화아연 박막이 자연상태의 hexagonal wurtzite 상으로 구성되어 있음을 확인하였으며 SEM 사진에서는 나노 로드 형태를 구성하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 UV 영역의 흡수 스펙트럼을 분석하여 산화아연이 보이는 365 nm 파장에서의 흡수를 확인하였다. 또한 photoluminescence 방출을 분석한 결과, 424 nm의 band edge emission과 500 nm에서 산화아연의 oxygen vacancies에 의한 방출을 확인하였다. 또한 라만 스펙트럼 분석을 통하여 본 연구진이 제작한 산화아연이 높은 결정성을 가지고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 다양한 특성을 가진 산화아연의 광촉매적 적용을 기대할 수 있다.

가압 산분해법을 이용한 BaTiOx계 세라믹재료 중 Ba, Ti 및 W 분석을 위한 전처리 연구 (A Study on the Pretreatment of BaTiOx Ceramics for the Analysis of Ba, Ti and W using Acid Digestion Bomb)

  • 텅스텐이 첨가된 $BaTiO_x$계 세라믹재료 중 Ba, Ti 및 W의 회수율을 증가시키기 위하여 가압 산 분해법을 이용하여 전처리하였다. $BaTiO_x$계 세라믹재료 시료를 가압 산 부내장치 내에서 HF : HCI ( 1 : 2 ) 혼합산을 가하여 $220^{\circ}C$에서 3시간동안 분해시킨 후 ICP-AES를 이용하여 Ba, Ti 및 W을 정량하였다. 그 결과 Ba는 99.6% Ti는 99.8% W는 99.2%의 회수율과 Ba는 1.02% Ti는 0.73% W는 1.79%의 C.V.값을 각각 얻었다. 이 전처리 방법을 실제시료에 적용하여 25.9% Ba38.8% Ti과 3.31% W 함량을 각각 구할수 있었다.

Nonlinear bending of functionally graded porous nanobeam subjected to multiple physical load based on nonlocal strain gradient theory

  • We in this paper study nonlinear bending of a functionally graded porous nanobeam subjected to multiple physical load based on the nonlocal strain gradient theory. For more reasonable analysis of nanobeams made of porous functionally graded magneto-thermo-electro-elastic materials (PFGMTEEMs), both constituent materials and the porosity appear gradient distribution in the present expression of effective material properties, which is much more suitable to the actual compared with the conventional expression of effective material properties. Besides the displacement function regarding physical neutral surface is introduced to analyze mechanical behaviors of beams made of FGMs. Then we derive nonlinear governing equations of PFGMTEEMs beams using the principle of Hamilton. To obtain analytical solutions, a two-step perturbation method is developed in nonuniform electric field and magnetic field, and then we use it to solve nonlinear equations. Finally, the analytical solutions are utilized to perform a parametric analysis, where the effect of various physical parameters on static bending deformation of nanobeams are studied in detail, such as the nonlocal parameter, strain gradient parameter, the ratio of nonlocal parameter to strain gradient parameter, porosity volume fraction, material volume fraction index, temperature, initial magnetic potentials and external electric potentials.

A New Analytical Method for Erythromycin in Fish by Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry

  • Erythromycin has been used to treat Streptococosis, Edwardsiel1osis, Vibriosis, Bacterial enteritis in the cultured fish. In this study, a rapid and effective erythromycin analysis method with new sample treatment protocol and liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) system for fish products was developed. For the erythromycin extraction from fish muscle, the solvent mixture composed of 0.2% meta-phosphoric acid and methanol (6:4) showed good recovery rate, and the optimum extraction solvent volume was 20 mL. Erythromycin detection using LC/MS/MS were carried out under electro spray ionization (ESI) positive condition and erythromycin mass value 576.2 and 157.9. And the detection limit of the established method was 0.005 mg/kg in fish products. The recovery rate of the developed method applied to the fish species were as following, olive flounder, $87.6{\pm}5.0%$; black rockfish, $87.2{\pm}6.4%$; eel, $85.2{\pm}4.8%$; and rainbow trout, $86.0{\pm}6.2%$. In the established method in this study, the correlation of coefficient values ($R^2$) of erythromycin calibration curve (n=11) was 0.9998.
