도시철도차량 전선의 열화진단 평가기준 (Evaluation Standards to Diagnosis Cables in Urban Railway Vehicles)

  • Urban rail transit brings the benefits of various aspects of society. With the advent of fast and large trains, however, risk and scale of accidents have increased. Despite the fact that there is various safety features built into the modern metros, train faults happen from time to time. Especially, as urban railway vehicles in Korea have become deterioration rapidly, more advanced diagnosis methods are required to prevent various accidents. In this paper, we present diagnosis method for electrical wires to guarantee secure driving and authenticity more accurately in urban railway vehicles. Although there are kinds of conventional methods based on insulation resistance measurement and withstand test, it is extremely difficult to effectively diagnose obsolete equipments such as electrical wires and cables not new ones. This study is focused on development of diagnosis method and establishment of evaluation standard for electrical wires in urban railway vehicles.

  • The typical winter heating unit heating mat. The product is to be found in the development of new water heating mat today. The product that circulates the water through the hose inside the mat with your existing heating mat electric heated mat is different from boiling water. However, no clear standards for noise and safety, consumer choice is giving confusing information about the product is low. We were to develop a high heat retention and stability than conventional sleeping mats to produce creative than traditional hot mats, heated mats general comparison with experimental results is a more efficient heat retention mat is produced.

전차선로 동적특성에 따른 설치상태 분석 (Analysis on Installation Condition According to Dynamic Characteristics for Overhead Catenary System)

  • The measurement of current collection performance between pantograph and contact wire of overhead catenary system is intended to prove the safety of operation and the quality of the current collection system. The results of interaction performance of current collection system are required for approving with commercial operation on railway lines. The methods of interaction performance of current collection system are defined on interactional standards such as IEC 62486 and EN 50317. In this paper, the interaction performance is evaluated by the percentage of arcing on Honam high-speed line and the results are used for adjustment of the overhead catenary line structure. The experimental results in Honam high-speed line confirm that the duration of an arc lasting longer 25 ms between pantograph and contact wire was depended on the conditions of overhead contact line after installation.

  • Many function of railway signalling system which is in charge of most core function in a railway system are being operated by the software according to the development of computer technology. Accordingly, the source code testing to verify the safety of the railway signalling system software becomes to be more important, and related international standards highly recommend verifications on the source code also. For this reason, several related studies on vital source code verification were executed from several years ago in Korea. This paper performed tests through the application to railway signalling system being applied to the existing actual domestic railway sites through automated testing tools for coding rules of signalling system software and another signaling system software under development in Korea recently, and analyzed their results.

Personal Driving Style based ADAS Customization using Machine Learning for Public Driving Safety

  • The development of autonomous driving and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology has grown rapidly in recent years. As most traffic accidents occur due to human error, self-driving vehicles can drastically reduce the number of accidents and crashes that occur on the roads today. Obviously, technical advancements in autonomous driving can lead to improved public driving safety. However, due to the current limitations in technology and lack of public trust in self-driving cars (and drones), the actual use of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) is still significantly low. According to prior studies, people's acceptance of an AV is mainly determined by trust. It is proven that people still feel much more comfortable in personalized ADAS, designed with the way people drive. Based on such needs, a new attempt for a customized ADAS considering each driver's driving style is proposed in this paper. Each driver's behavior is divided into two categories: assertive and defensive. In this paper, a novel customized ADAS algorithm with high classification accuracy is designed, which divides each driver based on their driving style. Each driver's driving data is collected and simulated using CARLA, which is an open-source autonomous driving simulator. In addition, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) machine learning algorithms are used to optimize the ADAS parameters. The proposed scheme results in a high classification accuracy of time series driving data. Furthermore, among the vast amount of CARLA-based feature data extracted from the drivers, distinguishable driving features are collected selectively using Support Vector Machine (SVM) technology by comparing the amount of influence on the classification of the two categories. Therefore, by extracting distinguishable features and eliminating outliers using SVM, the classification accuracy is significantly improved. Based on this classification, the ADAS sensors can be made more sensitive for the case of assertive drivers, enabling more advanced driving safety support. The proposed technology of this paper is especially important because currently, the state-of-the-art level of autonomous driving is at level 3 (based on the SAE International driving automation standards), which requires advanced functions that can assist drivers using ADAS technology.

  • 신속한 차단 사양을 위한 통신 신호는 시스템 구성과 관계없이 NEC 2014, NEC 2017 또는 해당 UL 규격에서는 "적용되는 모든 태양광(PV) 시스템의 빠른 차단 요구사항을 지원하도록 설계한다"라고 규정되어 있다. 한편 신재생에너지 관련 국내 규정 등을 보면 각 기관에서 정한 기준이나 규정, 지침 등은 일반적이거나 해당 기관이 필요한 부분만 제정해서 운영 중이다. 이러한 것들을 태양광 시설에 적용하기에는 미흡한 점이 많아 설계, 감리자와 검사기관의 검사 기준, 검사자의 기술 수준에 따라 과도하게 설비를 하는 경우 등이 발생하고 있다. 국제적으로 통용되는 IEC 규격은 각종 시설규격을 자세히 다루고 있다. 유럽 각국에서는 IEC를 근간으로 별도의 시설 규정이 있는데, 특히 기기의 성능, 안전성 등을 상세하게 다루고 있고, 미국 등 북미에서 적용하는 'NEC Article 690'인 경우 각 항목이 매우 상세하게 기술하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국제적으로 통용 및 현재 적용되고 있는 태양광(PV) 셧다운(Shutdown) 기술에 대한 세부 내용들을 살펴보고자 한다.

분산전원 시스템의 주파수 변동을 통한 단독운전 방지기법 분석 (Analysis of Anti-Islanding Schemes using Frequency Drift in Distributed Generation System)

  • Unintentional islanding results in safety hazards, power quality degradation, and many other issues. Thus, islanding detection of grid-connected distributed generation system is a key function for standards compliance. Many anti-islanding schemes are currently being studied; however, existing anti-islanding schemes used in inverters have power quality degradation and non-detection zone issues. Therefore, this paper analyzes existing anti-islanding schemes by using frequency drift in accordance with both islanding detection performance and power quality. This paper also proposes a new anti-islanding scheme by using frequency drift. Both simulation and experimental results show that the proposed scheme has negligible power quality degradation and no non-detection zones compared with other existing schemes.

주요 사례를 통한 재래시장의 전기화재 위험성 및 안전대책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Electric Fire Risk and Safety Measures in Traditional Markets through the Significant Fire Events)

  • 재래시장은 전국적으로 약 1,550여개에 달하며 이들 대부분은 임대형식으로 운영되고 있기 때문에 영세하고 공간 또한 협소한 상태이며 다양한 종류의 전기제품이 내재되어 있기 때문에 화재 위험성이 높다. 근래에 들어 국가적 차원에서 재래시장의 현대화를 독려.지원하고 있지만 현대화 시설이 완료된 곳은 약 50%에 불과하다. 또한 현대화 시설중 전기설비는 '전기설비 기술의 판단기준'에 부합되지 못하여 화재위험성이 상존하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현대화 시설이 완료된 곳과 그렇지 못한 재래시장의 전기설비의 설치와 사용 실태를 알아보고 이에 따른 전기 화재 위험성을 분석하였다.

영유아 교육·보육 통합시설의 필요 공간과 면적기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Necessary Spaces and Area Standards of Integration Facility for Early Childhood Education and Care)

  • 본 연구는 '유치원 어린이집 간 격차 완화'를 위한 하나의 방안으로 '교육시설 질 균등화'를 위해 우선적으로 영유아 교육 보육 통합시설이 갖추어야 할 필요공간과 면적기준(안)을 제시하는 데 목적을 두었다. 그 결과 첫째, 영유아 교육 보육 통합시설에 필요한 공간의 종류를 표15와 같이 반드시 필요한 필수공간과 교육 보육 활동의 질적 수준을 높이기 위해 추가되면 좋을 권장공간으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 둘째, 영유아 교육 보육 통합시설의 필요 공간별 면적기준(안)을 표23과 같이 제시하였다. 아울러 영유아 교육 보육 통합시설에 필요한 영유아 1인당 대지면적과 연면적, 연면적 대비 공용면적의 비율을 각각 제시하였다.
