고속철도용 변압기의 온도특성 변화 (Temperature Characteristic of Transformer in High-Speed Train)

  • In this study, temperature sensors were adhered to transformer that is used in KHST(Korean High-Speed Train) to verify variation of temperature characteristics about transformer synthetically and efficiently. In the case that temperature of transformer exceeds reference temperature for running of KHST, overheating of transformer may cause a fatal accident of vehicle. Therefore, after on-line measuring system was constructed in vehicle, oil temperature and tank temperature were measured on real-time. Characteristics and main specifications of transformer in KHST were described in this paper Also, measuring system for temperature measurement of transformer was explained in brief. Temperature data of transformer was acquired using measuring system, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) analyzed characteristic in contrast with comparing with temperature of transformer about month, running speed and running time.

  • The sensor signal validation and failure detection system must be able to detect, isolate, and identify sensor degradation as well as provide a reconstruction of the measurements. In this study, this is accomplished by combining the neural network, the Generalized Consistency Checking(GCC), and the Sequential Probability Ratio Test(SPRT) method in a decision estimator module. The GCC method is a computationally efficient system for redundant sensors, while the SPRT provides the ability to make decisions based on the degradation history of a sensor. The methodology is also extended to the detection of noise degradation. The acceptability of the proposed method is demonstration by using the simulation data in safety injection accident of nuclear power plants. The results show that the signal validation and sensor failure detection system is able to detect and isolate a bias failure and noise type failures under transient conditions. And also, the system is able to provide the validated signal by reconstructing the measurement signals in the failure conditions considered.

화재조사전문교육 및 자격증제도 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Professional Fire Investigation Education and Certification System)

  • 본 연구는 국내의 화재조사전문교육 운영 실태를 분석하고 개선방안을 도출하는데 있다. 연구결과 현재의 화재조사전문교육은 공적영역(소방, 경찰, 전기안전공사, 가스안전공사 등) 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며 중앙소방학교에서 실시하고 있는 교육이 가장 체계적인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 사적영역(화재피해이재민, 일반국민 등)을 대상으로 하는 화재조사전문교육은 거의 이루어지고 있지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 현행 중앙소방학교를 평생교육체제로 전환하여 대학의 학위과정과 연계하고 소방방재청에서 시행하고 있는 화재조사관자격증 제도를 외부에 개방 및 학습수준별 5단계로 나누어 운영할 것을 제안하였다.

PMU 데이터를 이용한 저주파 진동분석 연구 (A Study on the Low Frequency Oscillation Using PMU Measurement Data)

  • It is very important to evaluate on/off-line stability to operate the power system stably and economically. Until now, we have continuously secured the operation reliability of the power system through the evaluation of transient, voltage and small signal stability. This paper proposes that it is possible to operate in KWAMS by applying the multi-section analysis and subspace methods and verifying the reliability of the algorithms to directly estimate the dominant oscillation mode of the power system from the signal waveform acquired from the phasor measurement units. In addition, this paper shows that the dominant oscillation mode can be detected from real-time measurement data in power systems. Therefore, if we can monitor the state of the power system in real time, it is possible to avoid a large-scale power outage by knowing the possibility of the power system accident in advance.

발전소용 4.16 kV급 차단기에서 감전사고 사례 분석 (Analysis of Electric Shock Accident on 4.16 kV Class Circuit breaker for Power Plant)

  • This paper describes electric shock accidents on a 4.16 kV class circuit breaker for power plant. Electric shock accidents mostly involve damage of human life, in comparison with electrical fire, rate of human death tend to be higher in electric shock accidents. Specially, in a high voltage facilities rate of human death comprised about 43.7% by electric shock accidents. If electric shock accidents happen in a 4.16 kV class circuit breaker for power plant, then the power plant discontinue power production. Electric shock accidents in a power plant have a great ripple effect such as an electric power shortage. In this paper, we analyzed electric shock accidents on a 4.16 kV class circuit breaker for power plant. From the analysis results, we confirmed a cause of electric shock accidents on a 4.16 kV class circuit breaker, it happened by defect of interlock equipment or occurrence of breakdown between first feeder contactor and shielding plate. In order to reduce electric shock accidents on a 4.16 kV class circuit breaker, the power plant should consider improvement of interlock equipment and insulation of feeder contactor in circuit breaker.

  • The lightning arrester is a very important overvoltage protection device in the electric power system. Therefore, the inspection of lightning arrester whether it keeps its performance or not properly has close related to verifying the safety confidence of the electric power system. But the development of the deterioration measuring method and on-line detecting system, is necessary to monitor the deterioration of the lightening arrestor. In this paper, we developed the lightning arrester degradation monitoring system. This system detected leakage current of lightning arrester by using the ZCT, and analyze the third harmonics ingredient of leakage current using DFT method in the Data Acquisition Unit(DAU). The analyzed current signal is transmit to the Human-Machine Interface(HMI), and HMI alarmed when accident are occurred and informed with the amplitude of leakage current to the operator.

  • Most transmission lines pass through mountainous terrain and deep valleys, to avoid populated areas. Accordingly, the impact of climate changes, environmental conditions and system expansion have caused an increase in transmission line system fault rates. KEPCO has developed and applied phase-spacers to reduce contact faults between phases. Contact between phases represented 9% of total line faults before the devices were installed. Phase-spacers have reduced faults by up to 3.4% since the phase-spacers were installed in 2005. Also, recently developed devices provide additional economic benefits as they cost about a third of the price as similar devices introduced in foreign countries. Phase-spacers are an effective way to prevent phase contact accidents by maintaining physical space between phases. These spacers will be implemented in areas where contacts are likely to occur. They are expected to reduce accident rates and improve power quality.

수소충전소 튜브트레일러 누출에 따른 위험성평가 (Risk Assessment of Tube Trailer Leaks at Hydrogen Charging Station)

  • 본 연구는 국제공동 연구로 개발 된 HyKoRAM 프로그램을 이용하여 저장설비(튜브트레일러)의 누출 시 위험성평가를 진행하였다. 수소충전소 내의 고압가스설비는 크게 4가지로 저장설비(튜브트레일러), 처리설비(압축기), 압축가스설비, 충전설비(디스펜서)로 분류된다. 그 중 저장설비인 튜브트레일러의 설계 사양, 주변 환경 조건 등을 반영하여 기존에 발생된 사고 및 잠재적 사고 위험 사고 시나리오를 구성하였다. 이를 통해, 수소충전소 저장 설비의 위험을 확인하고 수소충전소 안전성 향상을 위한 대책을 제안한다.

  • 본 연구는 가스사고 전문해석 프로그램인 FLACS를 이용하여 진행하였다. 안전성해석 대상인 수소충전소는 압축설비, 저장탱크, 수소 배관 등으로 구성되어있다. 주요 시설 및 구성품의 설계 사양, 수소충전소 주변의 환경 조건 등을 반영한 후 잠재적 위험요인에 대한 안전성해석을 실시하였다. 국내 수소충전소는 2021년 기준 약 70여곳의 충전소가 보급되어있으며, 향후 2040년에는 1200기 도입이 예정되어있다. 수소충전소의 안전한 보급을 위해 잠재적 위험에 의한 발생 가능한 사고를 대비하고자 누출·확산 시나리오를 도출하여 안전성을 검토하고자 한다.
