A Study of Automatic Load Estimator for a Balance Beam Controller (밸런스 빔 제어기를 이용한 자동부하 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents an Intelligent Balance Beam Controller(IBBC) which can estimate the inertia of load automatically. Balance Beam controller is a kind of construction tool which can control the attitude of the load hanging in the air such as a beam carried by crane. In our previous work, Balance Beam had been built to control the object in air using a mechanical gyro system having a position controllable gimbal structure. In field application the load inertia for operation is not easy to figure out because the weight and shape which determines the inertia, varies depending on the object to be carried. Therefore it is difficult for a worker to operate a Balance Beam and an accident could be caused occasionally. We designed an automatic load estimator to measure the inertia of arbitrary load by using an angular velocity sensor that is installed on the Balance Beam. Simulation results and current status for implementation are presented.

A Study of Ground System improvement on Isolated Power Generation (독립 전원설비에서의 접지방법 개선에 관한 연구)

  • In construction sites, portable generators and electrical equipments cause frequently electrical accidents due to the poor condition of their usage. However, there are very few technical guidelines on these equipments even though they have serious accident causing potentiality. In order to reduce such accidents in practical and economical, grounding methods are studied in this paper as the countermeasure of electrical accidents. Several Korean national standards and international standards regarding three grounding types are compared each other, and some prevention means of electrical accidents are reviewed in this study. This paper presents the most effective grounding methods by assuming the WCS with the isolated power systems.

  • The safety and reliability of the power system short-circuit current, the short-circuit current depends on the failure to obtain the objective is to quickly eliminate the breaking capacity of the circuit-breaker selection of the cable, the insulation of electrical equipment and protective relay an important factor in determining the level correction and protective relay selection scheme to be meaningful. Standards used in the domestic circuit breaker is applied to the production of IEC standard, but the American National Standards (ANSI / IEEE) by NEMA specification of the fault current calculations and the application of the asymmetric coefficient Korea. Therefore, in this paper, the IEC 60909 standard IEC breaker fault current calculation method and the method for selection of system configurations reviewed and protection system for reviewing the configuration of various protective relays appropriate correction and the correction value is main protection, back-up protection the equipment so that the period of protection relay coordination to minimize accidents and accident protection to minimize interruptions proposed for cooperation.

  • In this paper, we investigates accident actual conditions of electric outlet for low voltage that is used into interior and clear hazardous factor. Electric outlet for general can know that melting of socket-outlet and carbonization of support occur if a contaminant becomes burnout because is flowed in. Existent outlet consists of structure that special quality is good but inflow of a contaminant is easy when is dry. But, waterproof outlet passes silicon layer and have connected structure plug. As developed outlet covers whole surface and back side, interval was shut. Safety pin of developed outlet was established to operate to vertical direction. Therefore, we estimate that contribute on prevention of electrical disaster if use developed outlet to a restaurant, a laundry, a laboratory etc.

  • To find out the reason of accident by being stained of insulators, this paper researched and analyzed the result of electrical characteristic test and field test of EHV insulator through artificial contaminated method. The best way to evaluate contaminated level of insulator surface is getting a contamination data by regional groups continually. But it is needed a lot of time and manpower. To overcome those difficulties, this research introduced ESDD(equivalent salt deposit density) measurement method which is adapted to the international codes of IEC and compared the relation between experimental test results which contaminated insulators by going through stain procedure and electrical measurement results.

  • 군사 목적으로 생산 되었지만 기술이 발전해 가면서 여러 방면으로 활용이 되고 있다. 또한 일반인도 드론을 취미 목적으로 사용을 하고 있으며, 앞으로도 계속해서 드론의 수요는 높아질 것이라고 예상이 되고 있다. 이에 따라서, 드론에 의한 사고 발생 확률인 높아지고 있으며, 항고기와의 충돌은 큰 인명피해를 안길 것이다. 실제로도 항공기와 충돌 우려 신고가 많이 있으며 수요가 증가하는 드론이 항공사고를 발생 시키는 것은 시간 문제라고 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 드론의 항공 사고를 방지하기 위한 시스템을 제안하며 이 시스템으로 드론의 항공사고 발생을 방지할 것이라고 기대하고 있다.

  • COVID-19 대유행 및 이태원 압사 사고로 인해 안전 관점의 인구 밀집에 관심이 높아졌으며, 기존 CCTV를 통한 단순 관찰방식을 넘어 유동 인구의 흐름까지 예측한 인구 밀집도 파악이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 기존 관찰방식 공공데이터 CCTV에 컴퓨터 비전(CV) 및 다중 객체 추적(MOT) 기술을 추가 적용하여 사용자 중심(시각, 장소)의 유동 인구수와 인구 밀집 지역을 파악할 수 있는 모델을 제안하고 구현하였다. 이 모델을 적용함으로써 시민들은 안전한 환경에서 인구 밀집에 관련된 사고로부터 보호받을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • 2005년도에 저압 지중함에서 감전사고가 발생한 후 감전예방을 위한 다양한 개선대책이 현장에 적용되었다. 사고발생 직후에는 지중전선의 접속부에 테이핑처리에 의한 보완조치가 적용되었으며, 그 이후 전선 접속 부를 방수형접속재로 교체하는 작업이 시행되었으며 전선 접속부 위를 감전방지용 절연고무판으로 덮거나 차량의 통행이 없는 일부 지중함의 뚜껑을 절연재질인 고강도플라스틱(FRP)으로 교체하거나 그 이외에 다중접지된 중성선과 지중함의 틀을 본딩하는 개선대책 등이 현장에 적용되었다. 이러한 다양한 개선대책은 지중함에서의 감전사고를 예방하기 위한 것으로 그중 틀접지는 이미 적용된 지중함 내의 접지설비와 중성선이 공통접속된 상태에서 지중함과 맞닿는 틀에 접지도체를 연결하는 것이다. 계통의 중성선을 이용한(TN-C)방식의 틀접지는 효과가 있으나 뚜껑부분의 진동방지를 위하여 삽입한 고무패킹은 성능저하를 일으키므로 그에 대한 대책이 필요하였다.

Electrical fire prediction model study using machine learning (기계학습을 통한 전기화재 예측모델 연구)

  • Although various efforts have been made every year to reduce electric fire accidents such as accident analysis and inspection for electric fire accidents, there is no effective countermeasure due to lack of effective decision support system and existing cumulative data utilization method. The purpose of this study is to develop an algorithm for predicting electric fire based on data such as electric safety inspection data, electric fire accident information, building information, and weather information. Through the pre-processing of collected data for each institution such as Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, Meteorological Administration, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, Fire Defense Headquarters, convergence, analysis, modeling, and verification process, we derive the factors influencing electric fire and develop prediction models. The results showed insulation resistance value, humidity, wind speed, building deterioration(aging), floor space ratio, building coverage ratio and building use. The accuracy of prediction model using random forest algorithm was 74.7%.

Analysis on the Fire Accident of Vehicle Due to Damage of the Vehicle's Electrical Components (차량 전장부품 손상으로 인한 차량화재 사고사례 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the vehicle fire accidents due to damage of vehicle's electrical components, which is applied to a vehicle. In recent development of electrical components technology, approximately 40% of vehicle manufacturing parts have applied electronic circuit technology. Phenomenon such deterioration of insulating performance or electric breakdown on the vehicle's electrical components and printed circuit boards(PCBs) resulted from moisture, contamination and aging due to repetitive operations, lead to the vehicle fire. Therefore, the application of electrical components with adequate electric capacity for vehicle and usage of molding techniques using a non-combustible materials to shut off the oxygen should be applied in order to prevent vehicle fire due to damage of the electrical components and PCBs.
