원전 주변 주민의 방사선량 평가를 위한 음식물 섭취량 조사 예비결과 (Preliminary Results on Food Consumpt ion Rates for Off-site Dose Calculation of Nuclear Power Plants)

  • 원전 주변의 주민에 대한 방사선량의 대부분을 음식물 섭취에 의한 내부피폭이 차지하고 있다 그러나 우리나라 원전에 적용하고 있는 음식물 섭취량은 1989년 한국원자력연구소가 고리원전 주변지역을 대상으로 현장조사한 결과로 최근의 식습관 변화를 적절히 반영하지 못하고 있다. 보건복지부에서는 국민건강증진법에 의거 매 3년마다 전국 규모의 국민의 식품 및 영양 섭취실태 조사를 실시하고 있다 따라서 이러한 정부 조사자료를 활용하여 주기적으로 음식물 섭취량 자료를 갱신할 수 있는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 국내원전에 적용하고 있는 음식물 섭취량 자료를 개선하기 보건복지부 국민영양조사 결과를 분석하고, 원자력발전소 주변 주민을 대상으로 현장 조사를 실시하였다.

클러스터링과 fuzzy fault tree를 이용한 유도전동기 고장 검출과 진단에 관한 연구 (A study in fault detection and diagnosis of induction motor by clustering and fuzzy fault tree)

  • In this paper, an algorithm of fault detection and diagnosis during operation of induction motors under the condition of various loads and rates is investigated. For this purpose, the spectrum pattern of input currents is used in monitoring the state of induction motors, and by clustering the spectrum pattern of input currents, the newly occurrence of spectrum patterns caused by faults are detected. For the diagnosis of the fault detected, a fuzzy fault tree is designed, and the fuzzy relation equation representing the relation between an induction motor fault and each fault type, is solved. The solution of the fuzzy relation equation shows the possibility of occurence of each fault. The results obtained are summarized as follows : (1) Using clustering algorithm by unsupervised learning, an on-line fault detection method unaffected by the characteristics of loads and rates is implemented, and the degree of dependency for experts during fault detection is reduced. (2) With the fuzzy fault tree, the fault diagnosis process become systematic and expandable to the whole system, and the diagnosis for sub-systems can be made as an object-oriented module.

  • The purpose of present study is to improve the efficiency of fusion and the developmental rates of nuclear transplanted embryos to produce genetically identical twins from Korean native cattle. The diameter of aspirated follicles had no significant effect on the recovery rates of oocytes collected by ovum pick-up technique. The fusion rates of nuclear transplanted embryos were significantly higher in 50 and $100{\mu}s$ DC duration groups(73.3 and 72.0% ; respectively) than that in $30{\mu}s$ group(55.6% ; p<0.05). The cleavage rates of nuclear transplanted embryos appeared to be significantly higher in donor nuclei derived from in vivo (65.0%) than in those from in vitro (50.5% ; p<0.01), but the developmental rates to morulae and blastocysts were not significantly different between them(13.7 vs 10.9%, respectively).

Exponential Smoothing기법을 이용한 전기자동차 전력 수요량 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction of Power Demand for Electric Vehicles Using Exponential Smoothing Techniques)

  • 본 논문은 전기자동차 충전시설 확충계획에 중요한 요소인 전기자동차 전력 수요량 예측정보를 생산하기 위하여 Exponential Smoothing를 이용하여 전력 수요량 예측 모형을 제안하였다. 모형의 입력자료 구축을 위하여 종속변수로 월별 시군구 전력수요량을 독립변수로 월별 시군구 충전소 보급대수, 월별 시군구 전기자동차 충전소 충전 횟수, 월별 전기자동차 등록대수 자료를 월 단위로 수집하고 수집된 7년간 자료 중 4년간 자료를 학습기간으로 3년간 자료를 검증 기간으로 적용하였다. 전기자동차 전력 수요량 예측 모형의 정확성을 검증하기위하여 통계적 방법인 Exponential Smoothing(ETS), ARIMA모형의 결과와 비교한 결과 ETS, ARIMA 각각의 오차율은 12%, 21%로 본 논문에서 제시한 ETS가 9% 더 정확하게 분석되었으며, 전기자동차 전력 수요량 예측 모형으로써 적합함을 확인하였다. 향후 이 모형을 이용한 전기자동차 충전소 설치 계획부터 운영관리 측면에서 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

  • In this study, 3-cell stack fuel cell power technology was developed for charging superconducting coil. It was found that the performance of the fuel cell stack increased depending on the number of activation. In addition, the flow rates of hydrogen and air supplied to 3-cell stack was adjusted because of a large difference in membrane electrode assembly (MEA) characteristics depending on its location. As a result, it was confirmed that it was possible to apply current to the superconducting coil from about 15 to 33 A by changing the variable resistance, and it was confirmed that the voltage difference between fuel cell cells could be overcome through sufficient control of fuel supply.

  • The life management technology becomes important as the failure risk of the aged power transformers increases. Asset management technology, therefore, has been developed to evaluate the remaining life and build replacement strategies of power transformers, which enables an optimal investment decisions based on reliability and economic feasibility. The remaining life assessment technology uses data related to such as installation, operation, maintenance, refurbishment, and disposed history of power transformers. The optimal investment decision additionally uses data related to failure and social costs. To develop the asset management technology in power transformers, it is important to find deterioration parameters directly indicating degradation of power transformers. In this study, 110,000 DGA data during the past 35 years have been analyzed in order to find the deterioration parameters related to the degradation of power transformers. The alarm rates of combustible gases ($H_2$, $C_2H_2$, $C_2H_4$, $CH_4$, $C_2H_6$), TCG CO, and $CO_2$ were analyzed as deterioration parameters. The origin of the gas was discussed in connection with discharge, overheating and insulation aging.

A PMSM Driven Electric Scooter System with a V-Belt Continuously Variable Transmission Using a Novel Hybrid Modified Recurrent Legendre Neural Network Control

  • An electric scooter with a V-belt continuously variable transmission (CVT) driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has a lot of nonlinear and time-varying characteristics, and accurate dynamic models are difficult to establish for linear controller designs. A PMSM servo-drive electric scooter controlled by a novel hybrid modified recurrent Legendre neural network (NN) control system is proposed to solve difficulties of linear controllers under the occurrence of nonlinear load disturbances and parameters variations. Firstly, the system structure of a V-belt CVT driven electric scooter using a PMSM servo drive is established. Secondly, the novel hybrid modified recurrent Legendre NN control system, which consists of an inspector control, a modified recurrent Legendre NN control with an adaptation law, and a recouped control with an estimation law, is proposed to improve its performance. Moreover, the on-line parameter tuning method of the modified recurrent Legendre NN is derived according to the Lyapunov stability theorem and the gradient descent method. Furthermore, two optimal learning rates for the modified recurrent Legendre NN are derived to speed up the parameter convergence. Finally, comparative studies are carried out to show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme through experimental results.

765 kV 송전선로 뇌 사고율 분석 (The Analysis of the Lightning Outage Rates on 765 kV Transmission Li)

  • 송전선로를 설계할 때, 경제성을 고려하는 것이 중요하지만, 정전에 의한 피해를 최소화하기 위하여 전기적인 절연설계 및 구조 설계를 최적화하도록 노력하고 있다. 그러나 낙뢰는 절연설계에 있어서 외부적인 요소로 낙뢰에 의한 계통의 순간 정전을 최소화하기 위해서는 많은 비용뿐만 아니라 기술적으로도 해결해야할 문제가 많이 있다. 이러한 낙뢰에 의한 정전은 외국의 경우 230 kV 송전전로에서 약 26%, 345 kV 송전선로에서 약 65%를 점유하는 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 한전의 경우도 약 60%가 낙뢰에 의한 고장으로 이것을 줄이려는 관심이 높아지고 있다. 좁은 국토의 효율적 이용의 필요성과 송전선로 건설시 주민들의 반대 등 제약 요소 때문에, 한전에서는 세계 최초로 765 kV 송전선로를 2회선 선로로 설계하고 건설하여 운영하고 있어, 외국의 1회선 송전선로에 비해 낙뢰에 의한 순간정전에 취약한 구조를 갖고 있다. 특히 한전에서 운전중인 765 kV 송전선로 중에서 동해안 지역에 위치한 송전선로의 뇌 사고율이 서해안 지역에 위치한 송전선로보다 높은 것으로 보고 되고 있어, 본 논문에서는 그 원인을 분석하고자 한다.

Preliminary conceptual design of a small high-flux multi-purpose LBE cooled fast reactor

  • The design concept of a Small High-flux Multipurpose LBE(Lead Bismuth Eutectic) cooled Fast Reactor (SHMLFR) was proposed in the paper. The primary cooling system of the reactor is forced circulation, and the fuel element form is arc-plate loaded high enrichment MOX fuel. The core is cylindrical with a flux trap set in the center of the core, which can be used as an irradiation channel. According to the requirements of the core physical design, a series of physical design criteria and constraints were given, and the steady and transient parameters of the reactor were calculated and analyzed. Regarding the thermal and hydraulic phenomena of the reactor, a simplified model was used to conduct a preliminary analysis of the fuel plates at special positions, and the temperature field distribution of the fuel plate with the highest power density under different coolant flow rates was simulated. The results show that the various parameters of SHMLFR meet the requirements and design criteria of the physical design of the core and the thermal design of the reactor. This implies that the conceptual design of SHMLFR is feasible.
