직류 전기철도 에너지 절감방안 연구 (A Study on the Energy Saving Strategy in Electric Railway System)

  • The regenerative braked cars are being introduced in DC electric railway for energy saving. There has been a recent tendency for DC traction substation with regenerative inverter to increase in number. This is strongly related to the desire for effective utilization of electric power regenerated by DC electric cars and to the aim ensuring stable operation of regenerative braking system. The regenerative inverters DC power feed back from a generative car into AC power at a substation and supplies it to distribution lines. This paper suggest the result of characteristic analysis and capacity simulation. economical analysis in the regenerative inverter system.

  • Currently there are very limited amounts of resources and serious amounts pollution. Wind power generation system have an advantage of unlimited and unpolluted amount of energy resource. In this paper, for the application of these characteristic and for the generation to be achieved regard of districts and geographical features the energy continuously. The operation characteristics of system were analyzed through experiments for a trial product.

  • ESD damage by Charged Cable Model (CCM) is introduced. Due to its own impedance characteristic unlike Human Body Model (HBM) or Machine Model (MM) electric component can be destroyed even though it is located after typical protection circuit. Possible mechanism of ESD damage to automotive electric control unit (ECU) in vehicle environment by CCM discharge was investigated. Based on investigation, field-returned vehicle whose ECU is expected to be damaged by CCM discharge was tested to reproduce it and similar electric component destruction inside ECU was observed. Suggestions to reduce the possibility of ESD damage by CCM are introduced.

  • This paper presents a fuzzy logic system with data preprocessing to make the accurate electric power load prediction system. The fuzzy logic system acceptably treats the hidden characteristic of the nonlinear data. The data preprocessing processes the original data to provide more information of its characteristics. Thus the combination of two methods can predict the given data more accurately. The former uses TSK fuzzy logic system to apply the linguistic rule base and the linear regression model while the latter uses the linear interpolation method. Finally, four regional electric power load data in taiwan are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed prediction system.

  • In this paper, the converter and traction system of 8200 electric locomotive is modeled using matlab simulation module. And the characteristic was analyzed through simulation of the combined system of converter and inverter for controling 8200 electric locomotive. The validity of the simulation was proved through performing unit power factor control of converter and speed control of inverter.

Single-phase Cascaded H-bridge Multilevel Active Power Filters in AC Electric Railway Systems

  • The power quality of AC electric railways has become an issue worthy of more and more concern. Many active compensators based on power converters have been proposed, but with complex transformers or coupled branches. This paper presents a single-phase cascaded H-bridge multilevel active power filter (APF), which can directly connect to the 27.5-kV power supplies to deal with power quality problems. According to field measured data, the load characteristics are analyzed, and the system configuration and control system are designed based on the load characteristic analysis. Finally, simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed APF system, considering some problems such as the supply voltage fluctuations and transient inrush currents in AC electric railway systems.

  • Epoxy resin insulators show a lot of advantages for electrical power apparatus. Because epoxy resin provide electrical and mechanical characteristic which is excellent, it is desirable to apply epoxy resin as a spacer and post insulation in Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). In this study, we have investigated the influence of surface electric field attached particle contaminated spacer surfaces under SF6 gas. Also, we performed analysis of electric field. As a result, when the particle was attached on spacer, we found out a surface electric field of characteristics.

  • Because the Nuclear power plant needs for the specific high stability and the confidence, it is required that cable shall be flame retardant at fire and endure to be exposed by radiation, chemical fluid, steam and high temperature at sudden accident condition and be maintained its capability on nomal operation up to 40 years as same as it's service life for Nuclear Power Plant. Consequently, In this report, we describe the terms of Environmental Qualification Test for cable and properties required for cable which developed for Nuclear Power Plant.

  • This paper describes the research in condenser cone of sealing-end for 154kV oil-filled underground cable. We conducted the design based on the results of electric field analysis by electrostatics theory and FEM. In case that condenser cone type EB-A was compared with bell mouth type EB-A, the results of the AC and lightening impulse voltage test showed improvment of 10 percents.

  • Recently study on components for a electric golf car and a utility car driven by a electric motor has been performed actively, and the study on a drive motor, a inverter and a battery focuses on a small, light weight and high power density source to improve fuel efficiency using limited electric energy. Especially, since a utility car such as a golf car performance depends on initial acceleration and maximum speed capability, a drive system requires high power and large and wide operation area, This study therefore investigates on the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor with high power density and wide operation, and is verified with the test result after design and characteristic analysis is performed
