플러그인 HEV용 변속기전달오차와 하중분포에 관한 연구 (Analytical Prediction of Transmission Error and Load Distribution for a Plugin HEV)

  • In recent years, world is faced with a transportation energy dilemma, and the transportation is dependent on a single fuel - petroleum. However, Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) technology holds more advantages to reduce the demand for petroleum in the transportation by efficiency improvements of petroleum consumption. Therefore, there is a trend that lower gear noise levels are demanded in HEV for drivers to avoid annoyance and fatigue during operation. And meshing transmission error(T.E.) is the excitation that leads to the tonal noise known as gear whine, and radiated gear whine is also the dominant source of noise in the whole gearbox. This paper presents a method for the analysis of gear tooth profile and lead modification, and the predictions of transmission error and load distribution are shown under one loaded torque for the 1st gear pair of HEV gearbox. The test is also obtained before tooth micro-modification under the torque. At last, the appropriate tooth modification is used to minimize the transmission error and load distribution under the loaded torque. It is a good approach which the simulated result is used to improve the design in order to minimize the radiation gear whine noise.

  • 등불의 발견은 인간 생활에 커다란 변화를 가져 왔으며, 그 역사는 매우 오래되었다. 그러나 비약적으로 발전한 것은 1879년 에디슨이 탄소 필라멘트 진공 전구를 발명하여 조명에 사용하면서 시작되었다고 할 수 있다. 조명은 피로를 덜어주고 안전도를 높이며 사람의 활동 능률을 올리고 즐거운 분위기를 만들어 준다. 그러나 부주의나 관리소홀로 인해 소중한 재산과 인명을 앗아가는 화재의 원인이 되기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 조명등의 구조와 원리를 이해하고 일반가정에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 백열전구과 형광등을 중심으로 출화가능성과 조사확인사항에 대하여 발화사례를 중심으로 하여 배선과 가연물 접촉에 의한 사례 및 재현실험을 통하여 논문의 신뢰성을 확보하고자 하였다.

400 km/h급 전차선로 곡선당김금구 개발 (Development of a Steady Arm for the Maximum Speed of 400 km/h)

  • In order to develop a overhead catenary system for the maximum speed of 400 km/h on Honam high-speed line, increasing tension of contact wire, changing dropper distributions, reducing a hard point and etc. should be considered. And it is also essential to develop core components taking account of the increased tension. Therefore we developed a new steady arm for the max. speed of 400 km/h in this study. FEM (Finite Elements Method) analysis was performed to ensure the strength of the arm. An oval shape was applied to the arm, so that 25 % of strength was increased and 9 % of weight was decreased. And a type test according to the code KRSA-3012 was performed to ensure the performance. Fatigue test in KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute)'s test-bed was also performed to evaluate its performance. Some section of the Honam High-speed line was constructed with the developed steady arm.

압전특성을 이용한 접착 조인트의 안전성 모니터링 (Reliability Monitoring of Adhesive Joints by Piezoelectricity)

  • Since the reliability of adhesively bonded joints for composite structures is dependent on many parameters such as the shape and dimensions of joints, type of applied load, and environment, so an accurate estimation of the fatigue life of adhesively bonded joints is seldom possible, which necessitates an in-situ reliability monitoring of the joints during the operation of structures. In this study, a self-sensor method for adhesively bonded joints was devised, in which the adhesive used works as a piezoelectric material to send changing signals depending on the integrity of the joint. From the investigation, it was found that the electric charge increased gradually as cracks initiated and propagated in the adhesive layer, and had its maximum value when the adhesively bonded joint failed. So it is feasible to monitor the integrity of the joint during its lifetime. Finally, a relationship between the piezoelectric property of the adhesive and crack propagation was obtained from the experimental results.

안전주행을 위한 DGPS/GIS 기반의 차량제어 연구 (A Study on DGPS/GIS-based Vehicle Control for Safe Driving)

  • In recent days, vehicles have become equipped with electric systems that assist and help drivers driving safe by reducing possible accidents. LDWS(Lane Departure Warning System) and LKAS(Lane Keeping Assistant System) are involved in assist systems, especially for lateral motion of vehicles. Sudden and inattentive lateral motion of vehicles due to drivers' fatigue, illness, inattention, and drowsiness are major causes of accidents in highway. LDWS and LKAS provide drivers with warnings or assisting power to reduce any possibilities of accidents. In order to prevent or minimize the possibilities of accidents, lateral motion control of vehicles has been introduced in this research. DGPS/RTK(Differential Global Positioning System/Real Time Kinematics) and GIS(Geographic Information System) have been used to obtain the current position of vehicles and decide when activate controlling lateral motion of vehicles. The presented lateral motion control has been validated with actual vehicle tests.

  • Ferroelectric $SrBi_2Ta_2O_9$(SBT) ceramics were deposite on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates using a sintered SBT target and then were annealed in the oxygen atmosphere at $750^{\circ}C$, the most excellent characteristics were shown, and the remnant polarization ($2P_r$) value and the coercive electric field ($E_c$) were respectively about 12.40[${\mu}C/cm^2$] and 30[kV/cm]. Moreover, the excellent fatigue characteristic t was little aged even after $10^{10}$ cycles of switchings. The leakage current density and the dielectric constant of the SBT capacitor annealed in the oxygen atmosphere were respectively approximately $2.13\times10^{-9}$ [A/$cm^2$] and 340.

  • The Sr$\_$0.7/Bi$\_$2.6/Ta$_2$O$\_$9/(SBT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode(Pt/TiO$_2$/SiO$_2$/Si) using RF magnetron sputtering method. The structural and electrical properties of SBT capacitors were influenced with annealing atmosphere. In the XRD pattern, the SBT thin films in all annealed atmosphere had (105) orientation. In the SEM images, Bi-layered perovskite phase was crystallized in all annealing atmosphere and grain largely grew in oxygen annealing atmosphere. The maximum remnant polarization and the coercive electric field in oxygen annealing atmosphere are 12.40[${\mu}$C/cm$^2$] and 30[kV/cm] respectively. The dielectric constant and leakage current density of capacitors annealed oxygen atmosphere are 340 and 2.13${\times}$10$\^$-9/ [A/cm$^2$] respectively. The fatigue characteristics of SBT capacitors did not change up to 10$\^$10/ switching cycles.

  • Some of gas turbine model of 7F-Class has constructed and is operating with units domestically. Non-destructive testing (NDT) is one of the methods being used to inspect damage $1^{st}$ stage bucket and review damage trends. We also analyze damage configuration and microstructure according to material and compare with pape of electric power research institute (EPRI). The damaged mode could be determined by leveraging failure analysis. Especially, configuration uprate of bucket is not only to prevent damage during operation but also avoid domestic manufacturing by the competitors. Modifications were mainly concentrated on surfaces such as cooling hole and bucket tips. Analyzing of bucket damage, the earlier model of 7F-Class used with one cycle with equivalent operation hour (EOH), has various cracking of the bucket surface. Bucket damage of new model is centered on tip area (54%) as analyzed by EPRI research. We conclude that improving bucket configuration would increase repair rate on the bucket tip.

  • The SrBi$_2$Ta$_2$O$\_$9/(SBT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode(Pt/TiO$_2$/SiO$_2$/Si) using RF sputtering method. The SBT thin films deposited on substrate at 400-500[$^{\circ}C$]. SBT thin film deposited on Pt-coated electrodes have the cubic perovskite structure and polycrystalline state. With increasing annealing temperature from 600[$^{\circ}C$] to 850[$^{\circ}C$], flourite phase was crystallized to 650[。 and Bi-layered perovskite phase was crystallize ed above 700[$^{\circ}C$]. The maximum remnant polarization and the coercive electric field is 11.73[${\mu}$C/$\textrm{cm}^2$], 85[kV/cm] respectively at annealing temperature of 750[$^{\circ}C$]. The fatigue characteristics of SBT thin films deposited on Pt/TiO$_2$/SiO$_2$/Si substrate did not change up to 10$\^$10/ switching cycles.

  • Ferroelectric Cerium-substituted $Bi_4Ti_3O_{12}$ thin films with a thickness of 200 nm were deposited using the liquid delivery metal organic chemical vapor deposition process onto a Pt(111)/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si(100) substrate. At annealing temperature above $600^{\circ}C$, the BCT thin films became crystallized and exhibited a polycrystalline structure. The BCT thin film annealed at $720^{\circ}C$ showed a large remanent polarization ($2P_r$) of $44.56\;{\mu}C/cm^2$ at an applied voltage of 5V. The BCT thin film exhibits a good fatigue resistance up to $1{\times}10^{11}$ switching cycles at a frequency of 1 MHz with applied electric field of ${\pm}5\;V$.
