전력기기 열화 진단을 위한 부분방전 모의 및 측정 알고리즘 개발연구 (Investigation of Simulation and Measuring Algorithm of Partial Discharge for Diagnosis of Electric Machinery Deterioration)

  • This paper proposes a new intelligent diagnosis equipment for the partial discharge, which keeps deteriorating the insulating materials inside electric machineries, ultimately leading to electrical breakdown. In order to simulate experimentally the partial discharge inside the electric machinery, the tip-to-plate, the sphere-to-plate, the sphere-to-sphere and the plate-to-plate electrodes are used respectively, of which the gaps are 1[mm], 3[mm] or 5[mm] and the applied voltages are 3[kV], 5[kV] or 7[kV]. Ceramic coupler sensor and FIR digital filter are used to measure the partial discharge and the artificial neural network is used for the deterioration diagnosis of the electric machinery. The microprocessor of PD diagnosis equipment is DSP (TMS320C6713) with FPGA (Cyclone II). The results of the real-time and on-line experiments performed with the developed equipment are also explained.

고주파 가열 장비를 활용한 터빈로터 휨 교정수식모델 개발 (Development of Turbine Rotor Bending Straightening Numerical Model using the High Frequency Heating Equipment)

  • The turbine rotor, one of the main facilities in a power plant, it generates electricity while rotating at 3600 RPM. Because it rotates at high speed, it requires careful management because high vibration occurs even if it is deformed by only 0.1mm. However, bending occurs due to various causes during turbine operating. If turbine rotor bending occurs, the power plant must be stopped and repaired. In the past, straightening was carried out using a heating torch and furnace in the field. In case of straightening in this way, it is impossible to proceed systematically, so damage to the turbine rotor may occur and take long period for maintenance. Long maintenance period causes excessive cost, so it is necessary to straighten the rotor by minimizing damage to the rotor in a short period of time. To solve this problem, we developed a turbine rotor straightening equipment using high-frequency induction heating equipment. A straightening was validated for 500MW HIP rotor, and the optimal parameters for straightening were selected. In addition, based on the experimental results, finite element analysis was performed to build a database. Using the database, a straightening amount prediction model available for rotor straightening was developed. Using the developed straightening equipment and straightening prediction model, it is possible to straightening the rotor with minimized damage to the rotor in a short period of time.

옥내배선, 콘센트 및 플러그 개선을 통한 전기화재 예방대책 (Electrical and Fire Prevention Measures through Improvement of Indoor Wiring, Outlets and Plugs)

  • 국내에서 발생하는 화재사고 중 약 20%가 전기설비에서 기인한 화재로 확인되고 있다. 복잡하고 대형화되어있는 건축물에서 전기화재는 재산 피해와 인명 피해가 증가하면서 대형화하는 양상으로 발생하고 있다. 여러 가지 전기화재의 원인 중 누전에 의한 발화가 약 71.5%를 차지하고 있고, 전기설비별 분류에서는 배선 및 배선기구에서 발생하는 화재가 약 38.3%를 차지하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 현재 사용되고 있는 옥내배선 형태를 개선하여 누전으로 인한 전기화재를 예방하는 방법을 제시하고, 배선기구에서 범용 되고 있는 콘센트와 플러그를 개선하여 배선기구에서 발생하는 화재를 예방하는 근원적 방안을 찾고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해서 제시되는 전기화재 예방대책은 전기화재의 근원적 원인을 제거하여 많은 인명과 재산을 보호하는 대책으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper introduces the combined test results of the traction system for KHST(Korean High Speed Train: hereafter refer to KHST). The main purpose of this combined test is to verify the performance of the traction system that is designed to operate up to maximum 350km/h speed. Combined test system consists of a traction transformer, two AC-DC PWM converters, a PWM Inverter, two traction motors and flywheel system. Flywheel system represents equivalent model of the train inertia. Also traction control system and MASCON Interfaces are included. Various kinds of experiments are performed to prove total traction system performance and detail waveforms are described

  • Recently, as the feasibility study shows that trans-Korea railway and trans-continental railway are advantageous, interest in high-speed railway system is increasing. Because railway vehicle is environment-friendly and safe compared with airplane and ship, its market-sharing increases gradually. KHST(Korean High Speed Train) has been developed by KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute) for last 6 years to satisfy the need. An electric railway system is composed of high-tech subsystems, among which main electric equipment such as transformers and converter are critical components determining the performance of rolling stock. We developed a measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of performances of KHST. The measurement system is composed of software part and hardware part. Perfect interface between multi-users is possible. A now method to measure temperature was applied to the measurement system. By using the system, fault diagnosis and performance evaluation of electric equipment in Korean High Speed Train was conducted during test running.

  • This paper is concerned with the development of PC based computer simulation and design tools for auto-expansion SF6 circuit breaker with the arc rotary. The simulation model takes into account radiation transport, turbulence enhanced momentum. energy transport. The conversation gas dynamic equation together with Maxwells equations are solved. For the arc simulation the straightforward procedure has been used. The temperature, gas density and velocity space distributions within the circuit breaker are simulated in details. The presented results show that the computer simulation of gas flow in SF6 interrupter is a subject of much interest for design and optimization of contacts. The presented results show that the shape and sizes of contacts are chosen by this tool from judiciously compromise between electrical breakdown strength and interruption ability that are functions of gas flow parameters.

  • This paper is the electric power system remote control of semiconductor plasma manufacturing equipment using PLC(power line communication). PLC is useful for economical data link but various problems and limitations are caused in using power lines for communications channel Develop of Semiconductor plasma manufactur ing equipment and remote automation technologies of tool develops day after day and standards.
