The Risk assessment regulation(RAR) is one of the essential articles of the Occupational safety and health law for the construction industry along with safety and health management expense and safety organization regulation. However, arguments regarding the working time of the safety assessment documents, the person in charge of documentation, weakness in legislative enforcement etc. are ongoing. Thus this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of RAR for the guidance of enhancing the effectiveness of RAR. The findings are; 1) the effectiveness of RAR is recognized, however the indirect effectiveness ie, enforcement of safety activities, previewing of drawings etc. are bigger than the direct effectiveness of accident prevention, 2) to enhance the effectiveness of RAR site inspection procedure has to be utilized, 3) further research for identifying and getting rid of negative factors in RAR is recommended.

Film cooling effectiveness on a flat plate was measured with pressure sensitive paint. The pressure sensitive paint(PSP) changes the intensity of its emissive light with pressure and the characteristic was used in film cooling effectiveness measurement. The film coolants were air and nitrogen, and by comparing the intensity of PSP coated surface with each coolant, the film cooling effectiveness was calculated. Three blowing ratio of 0.5, 1, and 2 were tested with two mainstream turbulence intensities. Results clearly showed the effect of blowing ratio and mainstream turbulence intensity. As the blowing ratio increases, the film cooling effectiveness was decreased near the film cooling holes. However, the film cooling effectiveness far downstream from the injection hole was higher for higher blowing ratio. As the mainstream turbulence intensity increased, the film cooling effectiveness was decreased at far downstream from the injection hole.

This rarer presents the cost- effectiveness analysis system of DSM programs on the web. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the energy consumption and peak reduction of DSM programs, evaluate the cost-effectiveness for DSM programs, and identify the benefits and the costs for each California Test. The proposed approach is applicable to DSM programs post-conducting in Korea.

This paper presents a software for cost-effectiveness evaluation of DSM programs (Dsm-Lite). The presented software can help the users to analyze the energy consumptions and peak reductions of DSM programs, evaluate the cost effectiveness for TRC and RIM, and identify the benefits and the costs for each Test. The Dsm-Lite software can also provide the effective information on avoided costs, electric rates, and rebates by year etc.

Most O4I Systems are considered as one of the major system in future Information Warfare. However, it is difficult to measure the effectiveness of force improvement when C4I System is used with other weapon systems, quantitatively. In this Paper, we propose a quantitative method to evaluate the force improvement effectiveness of KNTDS(Korea Naval Tactical Data System). This method utilized the Lanchester's equations and its applications. We also showed a numerical example based on a given scenario in a sea battle and the ASP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) Method is applied to verify its results.

We review the literature on the effectiveness of capital controls and macroprudential measures. First, we explain the purposes and examples of capital controls and macroprudential policies. We then analyze various theoretical models and empirical findings from prior studies that investigate the effectiveness of each instrument. Moreover, we review several studies that directly compare the two instruments and discuss whether policymakers should implement capital controls or macroprudential measures to overcome financial crises. Finally, based on a discussion of the findings of previous studies, we suggest several possible avenues for future research.

The maintenance of condenser main pipe is the key to achieve film-forming amine maintenance effectiveness. In this work, oxygen content, pH and temperature of the solution were controlled to simulate the condition of condenser main pipe, and magnetite coated carbon steel sample was prepared by pre-oxidization. CAM was used to characterize the hydrophobicity of film formed samples. Hydrophobic film was formed on pre-oxidized carbon steel samples when octadecylamine concentration reaches 20 mg/kg. SEM, EDS, EIS, and PD were used to characterize the influence of octadecylamine concentration on maintenance effectiveness. It was found that the maintenance effectiveness was enhanced and the corrosion rate was suppressed with the increase of octadecylamine concentration. FIB and TEM were used to detect the adsorbed octadecylamine film thickness founding that octadecylamine adsorbed onto the surface of pre-oxidized carbon steel by multi-layer adsorption mechanism.

Recently, as the management environments are changing rapidly and the uncertainty is becoming larger, the needs of internal control for management and IS become stronger. In order to construct a new internal control system for IS, it is necessary to evaluate the former research of the system. This study emphasizes the importance of effective internal control system, presents a conceptual framework for the preceding factors to consider, and verifies empirically the framework. This study sets the organization citizenship behavior, IS innovation resistance, and IT capability from the viewpoint of Socio-Technical system as the preceding factors for the effectiveness of internal control system. A research model, affecting the above factors on IS capability as a mediating variable of the internal control effectiveness for the use of IS, is set up. PLS-Graph 3.0 is used to verify the model. We found that the internal control effectiveness have affirmative effect on information capability, a surrogate variable of the IS effectiveness and a mediation effect is meaningful.

There is no absolute leadership through East and West. Just as past and present conditions are not the same, it is not easy for past leadership to apply to the present. The best leadership will be the leadership that can represent and lead the changing situation. In that sense, the creative leadership is the most appropriate leadership required by the present age. In the society, research on creative leadership is actively conducted in schools and companies, but there is no research on creative leadership in the military. This is the first study in the military about creative leadership. It is meaningful to understand the understanding of creative leadership and the applicability of the military and to provide a basis for future research. First, we measured the organizational effectiveness of creative leadership. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, the organizational effectiveness of creative leadership and organizational goals and achievement were measured, and it was found that there was significant influence on the relationship between creative leadership and organizational effectiveness. I could confirm some. This would be meaningful in that it suggested the possibility of applying the leadership of the creative leadership to lead the change of society and to implement the military command.
