  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teachers' perception of the 7th curriculum implementation. The subjects were 540 elementary school teachers. Investigation was conducted with questionaires which have 40 questions in 4 domains about the 7th curriculum. The results of the study were as follows: First, teachers' perception level of curriculum implementation was mechanical use(level 3). Second, in the comparison of level by implementing domains, the domains of the essential, ideology, educational objectives and evaluation were lower than the domains of educational contents, teaching methods and materials. Third, in the comparison of teachers' personal characterristics, there was no difference between male and female in all domains. But, by teaching career, experienced teachers were higher level in all domains. Also by length of in-service training with the 7th curriculum, when they have longer in-service training, they showed a higher level of curriculum implementation.

  • This paper is about the development of kiosks that provide four types of service. Simple UI and educational videos solve the complexity of existing kiosks and provide an intuitive and convenient screen to users. In addition, the AR function, which is a three-dimensional form, shows directions and store representative images. After storing user information in the DB, a learning model is generated using user-based KNN collaborative filtering to provide a recommendation menu. As a result, it is possible to increase user convenience through kiosks using metaverse and AI recommendation services. It is also expected to solve digital alienation of social classes who have difficulty using kiosks.

  • Kiosks are gaining popularity as an essential tool that offers unmanned services and payment systems, and their use is rapidly increasing in the service industry. However, the use of kiosks can be challenging for the elderly who are not accustomed to digital technology and touchscreens. Consequently, this study develops an educational program that utilizes metaverse technology to enhance the digital skills and kiosk service accessibility of older adults. This research has created an educational system that allows the elderly to learn digital skills and kiosk access through play.

  • Learning Diagnosis & Prescription Service(LDPS) in Cyber Home Learning System is a educational service which provides customized learning contents based on student's academic level and individualized counseling and comments after diagnosing learner's study habits beyond the past e-Learning systems which offer the same contents to different students. For a national point of view, it is a crucial project in public education to achieve the goals of the next-generation e-Learning service by making a lot efforts both in time and money. However, those efforts has been made, not in terms of providing a better quality of service and a better user experience in a effective and enjoyable way, but in terms of developing the technology-driven system. Therefore, in this study, two types of usability evaluations has been conducted in order to enhance a user experience on the LDPS. One is the expert reviews by utilizing the usability evaluation tools (heuristics) which was focused on educational contexts developed by Suh Young-suhk(2007). The other is the user testing with students who have done think-aloud during the evaluation, remembering their retrospective experience with LDPS, and the interview with teachers & service operators were conducted. As the implications on the research, this is an effort to provide an user-friendly educational system for the students nationwide.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the components of scientific attitude by some learning topics in the 3rd~6th grade science textbooks that the pre-service elementary school teachers judge to be teachable in class and the educational effects of this analysis activity for the pre-service teachers. The several results of this study are as follows: The pre-service teachers responded that, for all learning topics, they could teach diverse components of scientific attitude and the number of components expressed in their responses is more than the components specified in the teacher's guides. Among the components of scientific attitude, 'curiosity', 'open-mindedness', 'respect for evidence', and 'objectivity' showed relatively high possibility of teaching, while 'honesty', 'collaboration', 'positive acceptance of failure', 'critical mind' and 'suspension of judgment' showed relatively low possibility of teaching. The responses that pre-service teachers judged to be teachable also showed similar patterns in the number of components of scientific attitude and the rate of the components between the learning topics of the 3~4th grades and the learning topics of the 5~6th grades. In addition, this pre-service teachers' analysis activity on the components of scientific attitude by learning topics in science textbooks suggested educational effects such as 'the deep understanding of the components of scientific attitude', 'the understanding and applying the components of scientific attitude in the context of science class', and so on.

  • This study investigated pre-service teachers' understanding of statistical sampling. The researchers categorized major topics related to sampling into representativeness of samples, sampling variability, and sampling distribution, and selected concepts connected to each topic. Findings on this study are as follows: Even though most of the pre-service teachers considered the random sampling bringing unbiased outcomes as a proper sampling method, only 64% of them recognized that sample is a quasi-proportional, small-scale version of population; Few pre-service teachers understood that more important is the size of sample, not the portion of sample to population, and half of them appreciated that the number of sampling has a powerful effect on drawing of reliable results than the size of sample; Few pre-service teachers understood that sampling distribute is irrelevant to the shape of population and has a symmetrical bell-shape.

  • The purpose of this study was to derive the impact factors through multi-return analysis by dividing the satisfaction level of the users of the Food Bank into service satisfaction, food satisfaction, and facility and environment satisfaction and then present a plan for improving service quality. As a result, first of all, the analysis shows that the service satisfaction was not statistically significant. Second, the satisfaction level of food was higher when they get cooked food and when the frequency of support was low. It can be interpreted as important to users to properly solve the problem of fasting through cooked food rather than the frequency of food provision. Third, the satisfaction level of the facility and environment was higher for those with higher educational background, lower monthly income, and higher food expenditure after the support. Users with high educational background value information, service hours, facilities and environment hygiene, and users with low monthly income and high food expenditure even after receiving support can infer the need for food bank services to solve the problem of fasting. Based on these findings, it emphasized the need to develop user-centered services so that the problem of fasting could be effectively resolved in consideration of the conditions of service users.

  • The goal of this study is to introduce the SW Edu-thon program designed to strengthen pre-service teachers' software teaching competencies and to report its outcomes. In order to achieve the goal, we have conducted a survey for twenty-two teams of two pre-service teachers who have participated in the regional pre-contest and selected for the best lesson plans. The survey consists of several sections including the level of SW competencies, learning motivations, educational outcomes, satisfaction toward the lecturers, mentors, educational programs, and management and operations. In addition, we have analyzed the mentors' progression reports written by the participating in-service teachers who have helped the pre-service teachers to develop and implement their SW lesson plans. The results of this study provide with the outcomes of the program and the future directions for operating the SW Edu-thon program.

  • This study investigated how pre-service mathematics teaches' experience in microteaching influences their motivations toward teaching behaviors and changes by analyzing their teaching records and class reports. Although respondents planned to conduct various strategies pertaining to motivations, some of them were not used. Also, motivations toward their teaching behavioral changes leaded to positive aspects, but also leaded to negative ones. These findings imply that only two times microteaching experiences would not be sufficient to lead to positive teaching behavioral changes through their motivations. However, pre-service mathematics reported a high level of intention to change their teaching behavior through a comprehensive review process regarding their teaching. Therefore, teacher eduction institutions should develop well structured educational programs and apply them to pre-service mathematics teachers for a better understanding of their teaching and its review through motivations. In addition, providing opportunities for pre-service mathematics teachers to experience various educational programs including microteaching would be necessary for improving their teaching behavior through motivations.
