This study is to develop a competence model for school principals that provides effective career and vocational education (CVE) at middle schools. This model can be used as an indicator for identifying the expertise levels of principals in CVE and to help them develop the necessary skills. Research methods included literature review, basic research, the Delphi technique, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and surveying. The results were as follows. The competence model for CVE for middle school principals consisted of three competence groups, nine competence elements, and 67-item behavior indicators. First, the three competence groups included the competence to build a school system for CVE, the competence to support CVE at school, and the competence to create a school environment for CVE. Competence to support CVE at school turned out to be most important in the AHP analysis. Second, competence elements included goal management, performance management, the creation of educational culture, support for educational activities, support for school curriculum, support for students, human resources management, resource management and community management. According to the AHP analysis, support for school curriculum was the most significant among the nine competence elements. Third, the behavior indicators were identified items in three areas: 18 items for individual propensity, 18 items for knowledge, and 31 items for performance.
In terms of the importance of ocean as a present and future resource and the Korean peninsular location, it is strongly urged to develop renewed recognition and educational programs on ocean, so as to respond properly to the newly emerging political changes surrounding the country. By setting up the purpose of marine education as engendering greater interests in and knowledge of ocean, this research suggests that the frame of marine education can be founded appropriately on four educational sub-categories: humanity education, territory education, economy education, and resources and environment education. At an operational scale, this paper particularly analyzed ocean- related contents in the 7th national curriculum in order to find substantial ways for strengthening marine education. The study simultaneously compared the result of content analysis with the curriculum of marine education in other countries, and founded that explicit ocean-related contents in the 7th curriculum were significantly limited. Yet, the study alternatively points out that it is possible to use a variety of teaching materials and apply them for writing textbooks or developing teaching-teaming curriculum. I provide some of the ways for strengthening marine education by using marine-related themes in the curriculum of geography education. Marine is not simply one of the key elements in the discipline of geography. But, more importantly, I suggest that geography is particularly useful in developing various and familiar themes such as swimming beach, fishing villages, ports, marine-bound industrial district and port cities into teaching materials.

This study examined the mediating effects of perceived organizational support (POS) on the relationship between the person-job fit and job satisfaction of service workers. POS is divided into socioemotional POS and instrumental POS. To achieve the research purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on workers in charge of service jobs in domestic companies through an on-line survey system and finally, the results of 281 respondents were analyzed to verify the hypothesized research model with an 80.3% effective recovery rate. The findings are as follows. First, the person-job fit has positive effects on job satisfaction and POS. Second, among the sub-constructs of POS, socioemotional support has mediating effects, but instrumental support has no mediating effects on the relationship between person-job fit and job satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, this study suggests theoretical and practical implications for the human resource development and management of service workers. Overall, changes in the recruitment system, which can judge the person-job fit of employees who perform emotional labor facing customers, organizational culture and personnel system for establishing socioemotional support system, and compensation and workforce development system, are needed to enhance the job satisfaction of service workers.
After Protestant missionaries delivered the gospel to Korea in the 1880s, Korean Protestantism has pursued qualitative growth following quantitative growth. Pastors and scholars are continuing their efforts for qualitative growth in various fields such as theology, ministry, social participation, ethics, education, counseling, history, and spirituality. Prayer has been a significant spiritual resource and method in the history and for the faith of Korean Protestant churches. Historical and theoretical research on Korean Protestant prayer traditions has been continuously performed, and it is time to re-establish and renew the prayer traditions for the new generation and context of the Protestant churches. In this historical time, it is necessary to summarize the Korean Protestant prayer traditions and describe their significance for the change of Korean Protestantism and its prayer education. This study analyzes the characteristic elements of the Korean Protestant prayer tradition and discusses its significance in the church and Christian education. In addition, it analyzes the cause and background of the establishment of a specific prayer element in Korean Protestantism and describes the relationship with the topics currently being emerged. Through the research on the prayer traditions, this study reflects on the meaning of the Korean Protestant prayer tradition to Christian education and discusses the content, method, and purpose of future education in relation to Korean Protestant prayer. This study argues that prayer education should be conducted from the perspective of Christian history and tradition as a whole with understanding the characteristics of Korean Protestant prayer traditions and the educational and non-educational elements of prayer.
The purpose of this study is to develop a digital-based non-face-to-face instructional design model for national public servants. For this purpose, we reviewed the direction of non-face-to-face instructional design based on previous research, and interviewed a total of 10 instructors and learners with experience in non-face-to-face education to identify the success factors of non-face-to-face instructional design for government employees. In addition, to ensure the validity of the instructional design model, a Delphi survey was conducted with experts in instructional design and educational management. As a result, the digital-based instructional design model for national public servants reflects the importance of learning objectives and content design to enhance learning motivation and improve educational effectiveness, and includes detailed implementation plans to support specific and clear performance activities for instructors in non-face-to-face education situations. The instructional design model developed through this study can be expanded as a standard for improving the quality of education in public human resource development, and can be used as a teaching and learning guide according to learner types and characteristics.

The purpose of this study was to develop an educational smart app for classes by reconstructing some of the teaching-learning contents of the clothing preparation planning within the 'clothing preparation planning and selection' curriculum unit. To this end, a teaching-learning process plan was planned for the classes, a smart app was developed for classes, and feedback from home economics teachers and app development experts was received for the developed app. The main composition of the developed app consists of five steps. The first step is to set up a profile using a real photo, ZEPETO or Galaxy emoji, or iPhone Memoji. In the second step, students make a list of clothes by figuring out the types, quantities and conditions of their exisitng wardrobe items. Each piece of clothing is assigned an individual registration number, and stduents can take pictures of the front and back, along with describing key attributes such as type, color, season-appropriateness, purchase date, and current status. Step three guides students in deciding which garments to retain and which to discard. Building on the clothing inventory from the previous step, students classify items to keep and items to dispose of. In Step 4, Deciding How to Arrange Clothing, students decide how to arrange clothing by filling out an alternative scorecard. Through this process, students can learn in advance the subsection of resource management and self-reliance, laying the foundationa for future learning in 'Practice of Rational Consumption Life'. Lastly, in the fifth stage of determining the disposal method, this stage is to develop practical problem-oriented classes on how to dispose of the clothes to be discarded in the thirrd stage by exploring various disposal methods, engaging in group discussions, and sharing opinions. This study is meaningful as a case study as an attempt to develop a smart app for education by an instructor to align teaching plans and educational content with achievement standards for the class. In the future, upgrades will have to be made through user application.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum for care manager based on the results of professional workshops and through the analysis of the roles and curriculums of care managers in other countries. Method: The process of this study included a review of literature, getting advice from various experts, a review of the present state of education programs at abroad. Result: This study revealed the basic content of care manager education which includes understanding health care and welfare delivery system. process of care manager, resource management, legal and ethical issues, management of health and a life style of elderly, communication, stress management. The major roles of care manager was revealed as the one who assess the needs of elders, making a care plan, evaluator, supporter, coordinator and a risk manager who coordinates, validates and reassesses various services needed by elderly. Conclusion: These results can be utilized in care manager educational program for raising the quality of care manager and care management services.

As the result of this study, total 27 core competencies are developed and categorized into four competence groups; common competence group, teamwork formation competence group, data-processing and analysis group and resource management and application competence group. The result of diagnosing of competency level, the required level of competencies were more higher than possessed level. This result supports that it is essential to raise the competency level of employees entirely through the education programs. The data analysis with two independent variances, rank and type of occupation, shows the significant difference between the required and current competency level in terms of ranks, staff, senior and principle. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a differentiated educational programs considering ranks.

The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of nursing organizational commitment and job satisfaction on intention of resignation of clinical nurses. The subjects of this study were clinical nurses who were working at general hospitals in Pusan and Taegu in Korea. The questionnaires were sent to 850 clinical nurses at 8 general hospitals and 790(92%) answers were replied. Data were collected from Oct. 4 to Oct. 30. The instruments of this study were scales for the measurement of nursing orgainzational commitment, job satisfaction and intention of resignation of clinical nurses. The Cronbach ${\alpha}s$ of the scales were .9385, .9232, .6847. After screening of data, 769 cases were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 10.0 program. The results of the study were as followings: 1. Average score of the nursing organizational commitment, job satisfaction and intention of resignation of the subjects were 48.50, 50.23 and 12.20. 2. There were significant differences in nursing organizational commitment, job satisfaction and intention of resignation by age, marital status, religions, education level, position, career, and work place. 3. Recently, not only development of curriculum associated directly with job, the development of new education model is in great need. So, the purpose of this study is to develop the instructional design guideline utilizing goal-based scenario(GBS) for college students who major in culinary arts. First, to achieve this goal, we recognized the 7 core elements(learning goal, mission, cover story, role activity, scenario operating, resource, feedback) composing GBS through literature review and case study. Second, we drew a conclusion about the problem and guideline for traditional culinary practice course by conducting inspection about culinary practice environment and needs with professors who are teaching culinary arts. Third, we applied the instructional design guideline for culinary practice to regular classes according to GBS's factors, and then we did formative evaluation with content experts and educational technology expert. Finally, we designed the final instructional design guideline for culinary practice by modifying early model reflected the result of formative evaluation. The results of this study are as following. First, when we applied GBS to culinary practice, professors have to focus on process of materialization by developing easy scenario to students. Also, they have to prepare the class circumstance to feel about sense of realism in advance. Second, to give a conjugally new skill at working, professors's effort is important. culinary practice education at college has responsibility to carry out the vocational training that has competitiveness and difference with labor market's needs. Therefore, it is necessary for us to develop the teaching and learning model for culinary practice which is suitable for major based on the manpower demand for industry without causing job mismatch from demand for industry.
