The Impacts of Relational Support, Educational Support, Attitude towards Entrepreneurship on Entrepreneurial Intentions of Fresh graduates

  • Purpose: The study aims to identify the factors contributing to the formation of entrepreneurial intentions among recent university graduates. The original value of this study lies in providing support and a better understanding of the entrepreneurial decision-making process of Vietnamese fresh graduates. Research design, data and methodology: The research methodology employs Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) with a sample size of 385 university graduates in Vietnam. Results: The results indicate that three key factors, including relational support, educational support, and attitude towards business, positively impact entrepreneurial intentions. Conclusions: The managerial implications are provided to promote entrepreneurial intention among recent university graduates.

The Effects of Information Service Program by Media on Anxiety and Educational Satisfaction in Patients with Cataract Surgery (시청각매체를 이용한 정보제공 프로그램이 백내장 수술 환자의 불안과 교육만족도에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to identify the effects of providing an information service program by media on preoperative anxiety and postoperative educational satisfaction in patients with cataract surgery. Methods: For this study 52 patients who visited the ophthalmology clinic at P Hospital in B metropolitan city and who were scheduled to undergo one-day cataract surgery under local anesthesia were recruited. The 52 patients were assigned to the experimental group (25) or the control group (27). This study was conducted from August 27, 2015 to May 29, 2016. Results: Following the provision of cataract surgery related information service by media, the experimental group had a lower mean score for anxiety and higher mean score for educational satisfaction compared to the control group of patients. Conclusion: Results indicate that information service program by media "Goodbye Cataract" is useful educational materials for cataract patients in outpatient department and outpatient operating rooms.

  • Dut to the development of information technology, various serious games have been provided. In recent years, educational serious game that provides education services haven't been widely used. Especially, using serious game without trust is one of the main hinderance in the expansion of educational serious games. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of trustworthiness, which is antecedent variable for trust, on commitment and continuance intention. To achieve the research purpose, this study conduct the survey. The results showed that the trustworthiness significantly influence on commitment and continuance intention.

  • After 1990, Food service industry is growing up so fast and asking a lot of employee to be able to work this one. Our society will continue the growth of quantity and quality of food service industry with closing to the developed country and increasing the national income and leisure time. But our present culinary education system cannot gain the efficient of professional training to adopt food service industry without re-education and training. So, in our culinary education we have to be introduced new education system which is used effectively as a professional culinary education system in C.I.A. This system has merit to be able to teach step by step from basic to advanced course. Also Most of school system(management purchasing, human research, school life, etc.) is focused for culinary education. But, although this system has a lot of merits, it is too early toy us to adopt in our culinary education system. Because our education system has too much limited educational administrations of government and school for introducing new education system. The present educational situation is not enough to have facilities and financial support Finally, our culinary educational system have to change to right direction to improve in culinary education. Block system is one of the well-prepared system. But we need to administrational support of government and school to be able to adopted to our culinary educational system.

  • The common process of full 5 three infantile department of pedagogy nurtures of 2012 department of pedagogy department is world process. For the early rising department of pedagogy originality education of the national talented man it uses the educational robot. The research is necessary in about development and production of the world process educational robot which equips a duplex link structure. Development it produces the world process educational insect robot which equips a link structure from the present paper. The present paper research it leads and early rising department of pedagogy originality education of the national talented man leads and will contribute in the national competitive power improvement which a national education development and the robot renovation of the nation leads.

Educational Needs Assessment in Pediatric Nursing Handoff for Nursing Students (간호대학생을 위한 아동간호 인수인계 교육요구도 조사)

  • Purpose: This descriptive research was conducted to identify educational needs in pediatric nursing handoff training to improve students' handoff skills. Methods: Data were collected using a survey with 188 senior nursing students and 48 pediatric nursing professors and clinical nurses. The survey included items on general information as well as experiences in handoff training, necessity, training content, and items for a handoff training program in pediatric nursing. Results: Of the nursing students, 30.5% reported receiving handoff training during their clinical hours. After their handoff training, the students' confidence index was only 3.78 out of 10. Significantly, 98.3% of the respondents said that pediatric handoff training is necessary. In addition, participants reported that simulation practice (26.5%) is an appropriate educational method, and the time required for handoff training should be 8.16 hrs. Admission process was placed first as the most critical circumstance for handoff (56.8%). High demands were observed for the necessity of training content for patients with respiratory problems. Conclusion: The results of this study show the various educational needs for developing a patient safety pediatric handoff training program to promote nursing students' skills in handoff.

  • This study aimed to extract Tao Xingzhi's (陶行知, 1891-1946) ideas about formal education by investigating his school establishment and management practices. Tao Xingzhi established and operated various schools to provide educational opportunities. The objective of his school establishment was to expand the range of subjects. Tao provided whole-person education at his schools, and the subject matter was based on his life education theory. Tao combined teaching, learning, and activity to reform the pedagogical process, and his school operations were institutionalized and democratically managed. These aspects were comprised of Tao's ideas about formal education. Tao's ideas might offer valuable implications for the development of formal education.

Effects of Interactive Video on Mind Mapping Skills of Common First Year Students' at Umm Al-Qura University

  • This study set off to explore the effect of interactive videos on developing mind mappings skills required for the common first-joint year students at Umm Al-Qura University. Towards this end, the experimental research design of a quasi-experimental of two experimental groups was adopted. The research tools consisted of an achievement test of the cognitive aspects of mind mapping skills and a product evaluation form of mind mapping skills. Results showed statistically significant differences at the significance level (α 0.05) between the mean scores of the two experimental groups who studied the educational video regardless of the type of video in the pre-post cognitive test of the mind mapping skills and the form of product evaluation. Besides, there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05≥α) between the mean scores of the first experimental group who studied the conventional educational video and the mean scores of the second experimental group who studied the interactive educational video. This significant difference was in the posttest of mind mapping skills and in favor of the group who studied the interactive educational video. Nevertheless, there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05≥α) between the mean scores of the first and second experimental groups in the post-application of the product evaluation form of mind mapping skills. The researcher recommended using the interactive video in teaching courses to common first-year students. It also recommends organizing courses for the faculty members to train them on using interactive videos in their teaching.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the 'Brera Academy', worked between 1935-1940 at Milano in Italy. Giuseppe Terragni(1904-1943) is, as it is well known, one of the representative architects in the period of Italian rationalism architecture. In particular, his 'Casa del Fascio(1928~1936)' is evaluated as a representative work of this period. The research is based on original drawings and letters, mostly produced by G. Terragni or relative person and office of this work. Through analyze on the design process, the research tries to reveal Italian rationalist's design method and strategy, especially in the educational facility project. There are at least three deferent phases in the design process; in each phase, there are fundamental changes such as a structural system, relationships between the traditional garden and new building or spatial sequences. So, this study attempts to clarify the design methodology and strategy of the Italian rationalist in the design of educational facilities through analysis of the design process of Brera Academy.

A Study on Alternative Education Improvement Plan based on Domestic and Overseas Cases: In the Perspective of Home Economics Curriculum (대안교육의 국내외 사례를 통한 발전방안 연구: 가정교과 교육의 관점에서)

  • This study collects and analyzes data on educational philosophy and method for domestic and overseas alternative schools. This information is then applied to educational purpose and curriculum for a home economics curriculum that develops unique characteristics for Korean alternative education.This study collected and analyzed the characteristics of educational content and educational elements from two renowned alternative schools: Waldorf School in Germany and Summer Hill in the United Kingdom. The research results were as follows. First, it is necessary to create new word instead of using the term 'alternative education'. Second, among characteristics of Korean home economics curriculum, 'practical problem-solving ability', 'independent living ability', and 'relation forming ability' should be utilized to create a school with an independent curriculum and to establish a unique brand value. Third, time investment on instructor education should be made to cultivate competent and charming instructors as the center of a school. Lastly, school education should manage student's life at school and after graduation. The school and instructor should provide alternative education while thinking they are responsible for 50 years of a student's future life. This study helps show that alternative education is not perceived as a superficial and generalized education and that Korean alternative education can find similar characteristic to those of overseas cases.
