This article discusses the possibilities and limitations of ICT education by reviewing the previous research on its various aspects including educational goals, contents, methods, and evaluation. First, when it comes to its educational goal, the prior studies suggest that ICT education aims to nurture digital citizenship among students and to enable them to participate in different sectors of our society. ICT education characterizes the core capacities of its future learners as 'lifelong learners,' 'information producers/consumers,' and 'local/global citizens.' Second, in regard to the educational content of ICT education, researchers investigate SW education importantly: They develop the educational programs and examine the effectiveness of those programs. However, to ensure the relevancy of the educational contents to the future society, institutional support is imperative including facilitating educators' capacities and synchronizing ICT education with subject education. Third, as the educational methods, various ICTs such as flipped learning and augmented reality (AR) are being applied to actual classroom teaching. Research on the educational methods, which is the most vibrant area in the ICT education scholarship, is expected to improve the previous educational methods and to lead the qualitative development of ICT education. Fourth, the previous discussion on the educational evaluation focuses on computer-based evaluations. Educational evaluation using ICT will enable educators to assess the characteristics and achievement of an individual learner accurately and to lead them to apply a teaching-learning process effectively, which will ultimately enhance the effectiveness of educational evaluation. Along with the overall review on the possibilities of ICT education, this article discusses the limitations of the current ICT education and its implications for educational inequalities.

This study presents a model for educational planning based on user participatory design for the purposes of curriculum development and educational space innovation. It reviewed previous research and practices related to educational space innovation, educational planning processes, and user participation design and suggested a draft model. This model was applied in the renovation project of an elementary school, and the problems encountered during the application were reflected upon and used to improve the model. The final model comprises four phases. Phase 1 is an initial exploratory phase foruser participation, where educational planners and users form a shared perspective regarding the future of education. Phase 2 is a needs-analysis phase for the transition to future education, which focuses on setting the overall direction of the school-level curriculum. Phase 3 specifies the direction of future school curricula and identifies needs for educational spaces. Finally, Phase 4 focuses on the interaction between educational and space planners. Based on the above discussion, the study discussed the benefits and limitations of this educational planning model for school space innovation.

It has been almost 20 years since Korea has started the research of school facilities, but there has not been any form of organized information or studies done about such a trend of the research. In this respect, this research places its focus on categorizing 44 policy studies initiated and proceeded by different organizations for last twenty years(1983-2004) and 186 volumes of the research about education facility plans and projects released by journal of Architectural Institute of Korea and journal of Korean Institute of Educational Facilities in 17 subjects of this study. It also concentrates on organizing data based on different levels of schools and periods of time as well as understanding the trend. The result of this research is followings. Considering every volume of the paper and the subjects that have previously been treated in those papers, the trend of this study is divided into the first stage of research period(1983-1993), the second stage of research period(1994-2001), and the third stage of research period(2002-present). Of all the papers, there has been the most number of papers objecting elementary schools(110 volumes, 56.1%), and most of them focused on space formation, size, and the present situation of utilization of each classroom in elementary schools. In the meantime, the studies about educational information, application of the media, space formation and size under teachers'consent, two-dimension types, a design of outdoor space(including gardens), the present situation of utilization, remodeling of school facilities, an evaluation of space and recognition-awareness analysis have been mainly done since 1995. Such a result mentioned above provides a sense of understanding about a level of studies about education facilities in our country, and as a basic source for future guidelines of studies and contents, in my personal opinion, it contains a high level of application.

Taking the present circumstances into account that we are approaching the realization stage of interchange and cooperation between North and South Korea through a preparatory stage, recovery of national homogeneity is an essential precondition for reunification. The important first Step is pursuing of recovery of educational homogeneity for this purpose. The authors carried out 8 general observation on the fundamental educational system with ideology, on the actual state and characteristic of educational system for industrial technicians, and especially on the educational system for fisheries technical manpower in the North Korea. It was found that the North Korea's basic idea of educational policy is constituted by bringing up the communistic human beings on the ground of "the Ideas of Identity" and by bringing up industrial technical manpower for development of communistic economic. The basic educational system consists of 1-4-6-4 school years system, and 11 years of compulsory education up to the higher middle schools is imposed to all people. The educational system for industrial technicians is also composed of the regular school system which is following the basic educational system and of the irregular school system which is being attached to the industrial bodies. The fisheries educational system is very similar to the general educational system for industrial technicians, and the fisheries workers are treated more warmly in comparison with the workers engaging in the other industrial fields. By this study, the authors failed to find out the concrete content of the fisheries educational system including the curriculum owing to the lack of information, but this task should be studied continuously to make provision of reunification in the near future. Expressly, a continuous and profound research is required to be carried out on actual accepted state of the international maritime conventions together with the marine officers' certification system for the shipping and fisheries fields in the North Korea.
This study aims to develop an educational program for healthy families using Christoph's team performance coaching (TPC) model and evaluate the program by program participant feedback. The educational program is unique in terms of helping the program participants measure the health level of their families, setting goals for the health improvement of their families based upon minimum family performance and seeking ways to achieve these goals. The educational program was designed as 3-hour-course for the convenience of implementing education and recruiting participants. The overall program was based on the characteristics and principles of coaching. Those with a master's degree or above and professional coaches were recruited as instructors. The first workshop for the instructors was conducted in 2 sessions, for 12 hours each (Dec 29-30, 2010 and Feb 12-13, 2011) and the second workshop was conducted Mar 25-26, 2011, for 12 hours. During the workshop for the instructors, the final education program was completed based upon the instructors' impression and evaluation. 8 instructors conducted the educational programs in educational institutions and facilities across the nation. The results of the program evaluated by 419 adults of education participants demonstrated the applicability of Christoph's team performance coaching model to the educational program for healthy family and its effects. If various educational programs with flexible education hours and content according to the needs of subject groups are developed, this educational program can be used as a basic educational program for in-depth education and further service for the improvement of family health.
Objectives : This study were aimed to estimate the needs for clinical research educational program development focused on oriental medicine. Methods : Department Medical Research of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine surveyed 204 certified subjects in total by using web-based questionnaires through e-mail from Jan. 17th to Jan. 31th, 2007. Reply from 62 on-line correspondents were collected and statistically analyzed. Results : The number of clinical trial involving oriental medicine continues to increase. According to the survey, many Issues were raised as problems such as difficulty of recruitment, lack of fund and lack of stepped program. Emphasized issues were clinical research methodologies, development of protocols and case report form (CRF), and Regulations including Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) in these three consecutive education training program. Conclusion : The results of this study may contribute to the development of an educational program for oriental medicine, a program that should be taken into consideration for developing practical items, such as, problem-based learnings which reflects participants' actual needs in their works. Also this report be used for future strategy plans and execution of training program for oriental medical clinical trial.
The increase of youth unemployment has delivered entire interests in career education by many institutes including universities Thereafter, the emphasis on career education makes the ability on career development be considered as one of the fundamental issues in a human life. There are many efforts to assist students for career exploring by universities, however, the findings through these researches have appeared to be insignificant. As a prat of the efforts to overcome these limitations, this study is to create the appropriate career exploring educational program for college students in engineering. In accordance with the objective of this study, the research was conducted with methodologies such as 1) literature reviews; 2) analysis on the career exploring ability and needs on the related programs focusing on 224 college students in engineering; 3) creation and development of the educational program for career exploring; 4) application of the developed program to twenty three number of college students; 5) result analysis after program implementation. The significant findings and a specific case delivered by this study expect to provide valuable contributions to prospective users who intent to involve in the related educational program.

This research aims to take a close look at the following topics; the ground elevation of playground, equipments of playground, and equipments around playground, and to propose the improvement measure for favorable educational environment. In consideration of the needs mentioned, the following improvement measure for playground can be suggested. First, the elevation of playground should be changed. According to Environment psychology, current playground elevation should be lowered 2 stair-long height from a classroom site. This kind of elevation change can remove unnecessary stairs, and reduces inconvenience incurred by stairs and edges, which results in considerable educational finance saving. Second, the incidental equipment within a playground needs to be improved. This fact is found out at the surveyed schools; school gathering is held at classrooms (through broadcasting) or a multi-purpose auditorium in place of a playground. The results of this study make us conclude that the most important issue to be considered in the processes of selection and investigation for school playground elevation, incidental equipments and others.

The policies is always changes according to the changing times, and changes take place in educational facilities welfare policy. Early childhood facilities, is no exception. Recent, increase in the number of kindergarten and kindergarten children according to policy changes of government's active welfare. This change in pattern, policy changes and increased support to know the impact on the community, and this is not just a simply agenda that they need to be recognized social change. In addition, it can be seen changes in relevant laws and educational process according to childhood policy change flow and depending on social change. In this study, comparative study infants and installation of the facility based on criteria, ensuring standards of early childhood facility site, facilities of evolution of infants care act, act infants, infants of activities safety management. And Standards and facilities that are required to change the direction of the revision is for the purpose of research through changes in kindergarten curriculum to respond the policies flow. Research methods are literature on the various laws and research analysts, leading comparison of different child care and child care policy changes in laws and regulations to review materials are analyzed.
Purpose: New sports is a modified physical activity which is developed for participants to easily learn and play. This study is to analyze distribution channels and related strategies of Korea new sports and to discuss strategies for promoting Korea new sports, especially for two-two ball. Research design, data, and methodology: The study reviewed literatures including documents of Dae-Han two-two-ball association and new sports related research articles. Results: First, Dae-Han two-two-ball association has introduced two two ball to consumers via educational organizations such as schools and youth education sectors. Second, Dae-Han two-two-ball association has introducted two two ball to school teachers by teacher training sessions. Third, Dae-Han two-two-ball association has educated future instructors and provided certificates to them. Fourth, Dae-Han two two ball association has applied governmental projects and sought to promote domestic new sports. Finally, Dae-Han two two ball association has hosted national events every year for facilitating Korea new sports across nation. Conclusions: In conclusion, Korea new sports shoud be spread out by school teachers and educational organizations. Two-two ball association needs to develop a systematic educational and managerial process for training instructors. Finally, Two-two ball association needs to make opportunities of teacher training sessions. Future directions were discussed.
