The amendment to the Higher Education Act enforced on February 20, 2024, abolishing the traditional 2-year pre-med and 4-year medical school programs, marks a significant shift in medical education in Korea. The academic system reform is expected to be a driving force for large-scale curriculum revision, presenting an opportunity to introduce new educational innovations not only in curriculum but also in student assessment and support systems. Addressing these challenges requires collaborative efforts among educators, students, and communities to navigate the evolving landscape of medical education effectively. In this regard, I will illustrate the recruitment and development of educators to implement the reform and the collaboration between communities and medical schools to innovate medical education.

This research examines the sustainable mutual growth of academia and industry regarding human resource cultivation and recruitment of local communities. at the beginning of regularized survival competitions and university innovations according to University Basic Competence Evaluations and etc., This research considers the substantive effect of educational resources of universities on recruitment rates in the pursuit of enhancing university-industry cooperation. Therefore, to identify factors of recruitment rates, we employ a university-wise index based on a quantitative index of educational resources of universities. Regarding study methods, set-up and verification of hypothesis, empirical analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and correlation analysis are used to identify the correlation between dependent variables and independent variables based on the three sub-indexes of open records at Higher Education including educational environments, educational finances, and research achievements. Implications were derived from multiple regression analysis results regarding education conditions and recruitment rates, educational finances and recruitment rates, and research achievement and recruitment rates. This research can be extended to predict regional university recruitment rates with empirical analysis considering regional characteristics.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has profoundly impacted all aspects of undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education. Only the focus of medical education-care for patients and communities-has remained an integral part of all of the above sectors. Several challenges have been experienced by learners and educators as the education and training of future doctors has continued in the midst of this crisis, including the cancellation of face-to-face classes and training, reduced patient encounter opportunities, fairness issues in online assessments, disruption of patient interview-based exams, reflections on the role of doctors in society, and mental health-related problems linked to isolation and concerns about infection. In response to these disruptions, educators and institutions have rapidly deployed educational innovations. Schools have adopted educational strategies to overcome these challenges by implementing novel education delivery methods in an online format, providing clinical experiences through simulation or telehealth methods, introducing online assessment tools with formative purposes, encouraging learners' involvement in nonclinical activities such as community service, and making available resources and programs to sustain learners' mental health and wellness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, educators and institutions have faced drastic changes in medical education worldwide. At the same time, the quantitative expansion of online education has caused other problems, such as the lack of human collaboration. The long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on medical education need to be studied further.

The article provides a literary and analytical review in the following areas of search: problems and prerequisites for changes in the field of education, innovations and innovative models in education, the use of new technologies in teaching. A proposal for a business plan and accompanying documentation for a new methodology based on blockchain technologies were developed, to assess the economic efficiency of the project. The main systems of the new model were modeled on the basis of the proposed methodology, to develop a prototype based on the project documentation.

Results: 1) the development of a learning model involving design thinking to develop creative economy innovation and digital entrepreneurial competency 2) The students who studied using the learning model involving a design thinking process had the highest overall scores in terms of creative economy innovation 3) The scores for the assessment of digital entrepreneurial activity for the students who studied by using the design thinking learning model were at a high level. Conclusions: The development of the design thinking learning model can encourage students to be able to develop creative economy innovations and to empower digital entrepreneurs' ability for distribution strategy. Educational institutions that would like to succeed in developing creative economy innovative and digital entrepreneurship characteristics with the support of design thinking.
This study explored the socialization of novice Home Economics(HE) teachers employing a qualitative research method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with four novice HE teachers from secondary schools. The collected data was analyzed inductively by NVivo, a kind of CAQDAS. The following analysis was organized around three stages of teachers' careers: first, as for influences on teacher socialization prior to formal teacher education, their experiences on 'apprenticeship of observation' provided them both positive and negative role models; second, as for the socialization role of pre-service teacher education, they mentioned that college courses were poorly connected to classroom realities with only a few helpful lectures on HE Education; third, as for socialization in the workplace and its culture, the novice HE teachers were confronted with many kinds of problems including isolation in the classroom, in-service training programs not geared to novices, an overwhelming workload, and so on. Because of these problems, they yearned for and also formed networks with other HE teachers in order to overcome their limitations. The findings supported the notion that interactive and dialectical processes exist during all stages of HE teachers' careers. This study suggests that the teacher in-service training programs are more relevant, and that the introduction of mentoring programs and classroom manuals and teacher manuals would be helpful in practice. These innovations call for cooperation between universities and provincial offices of education for teachers' professional success in teacher socialization.

The article analyzes the features of innovation and investment activities of enterprises in the context of digitalization to increase their competitiveness in the international market. Ukraine's position on the Global Innovation Index is assessed. The interrelation of management functions in the context of innovation and investment activities of enterprises is substantiated. The structure of sources of financing of innovative activity of industrial enterprises is analyzed. Trends in changes in the volume of foreign direct investment and capital investment in Ukraine are assessed. It is determined that the level of innovative development of enterprises is determined by the level of their investment support, which is determined by the level of their investment attractiveness. The components of the strategy of investment attractiveness of enterprises are outlined. Determining factors in the implementation of innovation and investment policy of enterprises are identified and the main stages that should include the processes of managing innovation and investment activities of enterprises in the context of digitalization.

The environment of the modern library is changing rapidly with advancements in information technology, massive increse in information, and with the changing needs of users for information in order to keep up with developments in science and technology. The library should also be in a constant state of change in accordance with the changing environment. But the current situation is that library organizations in Korea do not show any change. Here arises the need to diagnose the health of these organization. Organizational innovations can be achieved either by change in the organizational structure or administrative methods or in personal attitudes. In making organizational innovations, however, it is not sufficient only to change the organizational structure or the administrative methods without changing personal attitudes. The purpose of this thesis is to diagnose the health of university library organizations in Korea and to suggest prescriptions based on the results of this diagnosis, by means of organization development theory. In this study, the action research model and the diagnostic model were developed for the health of university library organization in Korea. The action research model consisted of 3 steps: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The diagnostic model comprised diagnostic criterion and diagnostic indicators. The health of an organization was selected as the diagnostic criterion. Diagnostic indicators were divided into 3 levels: personal job-satisfaction at the individual level, cohesiveness at the group level, and the organizational climate at the organizational level. Both the interview and the questionaire were used as diagnostic methods. The questionaire form was designed according to the Likert typle 5-point scale. For the investigation, 10 university libraries were selected from the private universities in Seoul, and questionaire sheets were sent to their 156 librarians and responses were received from 116 persons. An interview was carried out with a selected chief of departments of the library concerned. The results of the diagnosis show that the average personal jobsatisfaction was 3.57, the group cohesiveness was 3.15 and organizational climate was 2.93, and accordingly the comprehensive health indicator was 3.22. The health of university library organizations in Korea was generally on the decline at all 3 levels. In particular, the organizational climate was in a very weak state. Most problems concern dissatisfaction with personnel policy, communications and non-professionally qualified directors. As the prescriptions, the following was suggested: institutionalization of the staff meeting for resolving problems with communication, appointement of professional directors, performance appraisal, conferring faculty status for librarians, and a suggest system. And for the improvement of the organizational climate, managerial grid training was suggested as one of the educational strategies for organizational development.
Pusan National University School of Medicine (PNUSOM) began analyzing the cohort of pre-medical students admitted in 2015 and has been conducting purposeful analyses for the past 3 years. The aim of this paper is to introduce the process of cohort establishment, cohort composition, and the utilization of cohort analysis results. PNUSOM did not initially form a cohort with a purpose or through a systematic process, but was able to collect longitudinal data on students through the establishment of a Medical Education Information System and an organization that supports medical education. Cohort construction at our university is different in terms of a clear orientation toward research questions, flexibility in cohort composition, and subsequent guideline supplementation. We investigated the relevance of admission factors, performance improvements, satisfaction with the educational environment, and promotion and failure rate in undergraduate students, as well as performance levels and career paths in graduates. The results were presented to the Admissions Committee, Curriculum Committee, Learning Outcomes Committee, and Student Guidance Committee to be used as a basis for innovations and improvements in education. Since cohort studies require long-term efforts, it is necessary to ensure the efficiency of data collection for graduate cohorts, as well as the validity and ethics of the study.
