  • Hirabayashi Ichiei has sought theoretical improvement of educational studies in mathematics from the standpoint that educational studies in mathematics should be practical. His beliefs and subsequent attempts have many implications for Korean educational studies in mathematics. In this regard, it is meaningful to examine his theory of mathematics education. But he is not well-known in Korean community of educational studies in mathematics today. For this reason, His life and theory of mathematics education are outlined.

  • The paper proposes to consider information technologies and their application in the educational process as a preparation of presentation material for students of higher educational institutions. The definition and place of information technologies in the educational space are considered. The object of research of this work is the pedagogical technology of presentation of educational information, which substantiates the pedagogical technology of visualization of educational information in higher education, as well as determine its composition and structure. The practical side of pedagogical technology of educational information presentation is considered.

  • The article describes the concept of a Web-portal of an educational institution; the technical conditions for the creation of the Web-portal of the educational institution were determined; the features of the use of the Web-portal in the educational process and its organization are revealed.   • This is a qualitative case study conducted for the purpose of enhancing educational effect of safety education facilities. Recently, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has proclaimed the 7 standards for school safety education, and has established safety education facilities to implement experience-based safety education. This study attempted to explore ways to enhance educational effect of safety education facilities through participatory observation and interview conducted with personnel of several facilities. The findings of the study were as follows: it was necessary to secure and maintain facilities for the implementation of substantial safety education, to develop and distribute standardized curriculum and materials, and to improve quality of professional instructors. The study suggested implications and future tasks to improve the education effect of safety education facilities in various dimensions.

Obstructions of Using Educational Technology in Gifted Students' Schools In Jeddah: Learners' Voices

  • This study touched on the limitations of educational technologies in gifted students' schools depending on the learners' viewpoints. The descriptive approach was used, and the tool was represented in a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 196 gifted secondary school students in Jeddah. Results showed moderate obstacles to educational technologies in gifted students' schools. The general mean of the responses of the study sample was 2.76. based on the findings, the author suggested some recommendations to reduce the difficulties that gifted students face in using educational technologies, as well as provide gifted students with electronic applications in order to their development, and especially the development of school buildings for gifted students with modern devices to help them facilitate the use of technology.

  • The article considers in detail the possibilities and significance of marketing technologies for additional education programs as the most flexible and adaptive component of the educational process. Moreover, additional education programs are the most market-defined. Also at this stage, we have developed the structure of the e-mail message about ongoing additional educational programs in order to promote them, and on its basis, we have prepared an example of a letter for e-mail.informational and educational mailing using techniques to attract the attention of the addressee in order to promote additional educational programs.The content of the letter was also formed for students of the electronic course "Education Marketing", sent out in order to monitor the educational process.

Development of Quality Management Indicators for Educational Institutions

  • The purpose of this study was to develop indicators for quality management of educational institutions, and to achieve this, literature analysis and expert interviews were conducted. Through literature analysis, the components of TQM were derived focusing on factors to improve the quality of education, engineering education accreditation standards, and a representative education accreditation system, were considered. Additionally, seven areas as well as 32 indicators required for education quality management, were derived by comparing the EFQM excellence model and the MBNQA education model, applied for quality management of companies and institutions. By comparing and synthesizing these results, a draft was developed for the quality management index of educational institution. Next, opinions on correction and supplementation of quality management indicators derived from literature analysis, were collected from five education experts. From the comparisons and integration of these results, eight criteria (leadership, strategy, customers, people, facilities and environment, curriculum management, curriculum improvement, and performance management) and 34 indicators, were proposed for quality management indicators for educational institutions. Curriculum management, people, and performance management criteria were considered more significantly in quality management of educational institutions, and several implications are suggested based on the study results.

  • The purpose of this paper is to divide franchise education and restaurant education programs into three factors: educational content, educational techniques, and educational environment. After completing the franchise curriculum, we will identify what educational programs affect corporate performance and CEO's capabilities. A total of 99 copies were used as statistical analysis data by conducting a survey of those who completed the training from May 01 to May 15, 2023. The survey used the Likert 5-point scale, and for data analysis, hypothesis verification was conducted using frequency analysis, demographic analysis, and reliability analysis using SPSS23. As a result, it was confirmed that all three factors of franchise education are factors that affect performance and competency. Therefore, among franchise education programs, it is necessary to be faithful to the contents of education, use appropriate educational techniques, and prepare an educational environment well.
