노인대상 보건소 방문건강관리사업 간호사의 역할과 직무 (Role and Task of Nurses in the Visiting Health Services at the Public Health Center: Focusing on the Elderly)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the role and tasks of nurses who were working for the elderly in the visiting health services at the public health centers. Methods: Literature reviews, two rounds of meetings with 5 experts and a two-round Delphi technique with 15 experts were performed in this study. Results: The nurses' role and job analysis revealed 5 roles, 16 duties and, 71 tasks. The nurses' roles, including discovery and registration of households/groups in visiting health service in the community, case manager, administrative management, program planning, operation and evaluation, and development of job competency. Sixteen duties included client registration and management, need assessment and plan establishment, education, consultation and support, seasonal health care, prevention and monitoring of infectious diseases, basic nursing care, chronic disease management, linkage and utilization of resources, team cooperation and coordination, home environment management, monitoring and support for intervention outcomes, evaluation, administrative management, program planning, operation and evaluation, development of professional competency and, adoption of fourth industrial revolution technology. Conclusions: Based on the results, the government should provide sufficient nursing personnel to provide universal preventive health services for the elderly and a job training program to perform these roles well.

재난간호 융합교육프로그램이 간호학생의 재난간호 지식, 준비도 및 자신감에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of a Disaster Nursing Convergence Education Program on Disaster Nursing Knowledge, Preparedness and Self-Confidence of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 재난간호 융합교육프로그램이 간호학생의 재난간호 지식, 준비도 및 자신감에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위해 시행되었다. 대조군 전후설계를 적용한 유사실험연구로 연구대상자는 B 광역시 소재 간호학과 4학년 학생 57명으로 실험군 27명, 대조군 30명이었다. 재난관리, 재난상황 실습 및 재난심리교육 등으로 구성된 재난간호 융합교육프로그램을 6월 26일부터 7월 7일까지 2주간 총 56시간 동안 진행하였다. 재난간호 융합교육프로그램을 적용받은 실험군은 대조군에 비해 재난간호 지식(F=81.41, p<.001), 준비도(F=110.62, p<.001), 자신감(t=7.27, p<.001)이 유의하게 증가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 재난간호 융합교육프로그램이 간호학생의 재난간호 지식, 준비도, 자신감 향상에 유용한 과정임을 확인하였다. 융합적 측면에서의 재난교육은 재난상황에 대비할 수 있는 인재 양성에 효과적이므로 다양한 재난관련 교육이 비교과 프로그램으로 개발되고 정착되어야 할 것이다.

The Effect of a Workshop on a Urinary Incontinence Self-Management Teaching Program for Community Health Nurses

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the workshop on the nurses' knowledge about urinary incontinence (UI) self-management, attitudes toward UI, and self-efficacy to plan and implement a UI self-help group program for their clients. Methods: A one-group pretest and posttest design was used to examine changes in knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy following a one-day training workshop. Twenty-seven community health nurses completed a questionnaire before and after the workshop. Before participating in the workshop, the participants were required to take a UI online continuing education program developed by the researchers. During the workshop, the participants took four sessions which consisted of an introduction of a self-help group program, demonstration of a 5-week UI self-management program contents, pelvic floor muscle training and biofeedback practice, and group discussions to plan the implementation in their workplaces. Results: A significant improvement in knowledge of and attitudes toward UI were found (t=3.53, p=.002; t=2.83, p=.009, respectively) after the workshop. Participants also demonstrated improvement in their self-efficacy to plan and operate a UI self-help group program (Z=-2.64, p=.008). Conclusion: The one-day workshop for community health nurses is a feasible strategy to increase their abilities and confidence in operating a UI self-help group program.

SBAR 보고교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성, 의사소통능력 및 보고자신감에 미치는 효과 - 성인간호학 실습 - (The Effects of SBAR Reports Education on Communication Clarity, Communication Skill and Report Confident for Nursing Students -Adult Nursing Clinical Practicum-)

  • 본 연구는 SBAR(상황-배경-사정-제안) 보고교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성, 의사소통능력 및 보고자신감에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위하여 시도되었다. 단일군 사전-사후설계의 실험 연구로 G도 소재 간호대학생 44명을 대상으로 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 2018년 3월 6일부터 4월 20일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 23을 이용하여 빈도, paried t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 SBAR 보고교육 후 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성(t=-8.12, p<.001), 의사소통능력(t=-4.37, p<.001) 및 보고자신감(t=-7.67, p<.001)이 SBAR 보고교육 전보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다. SBAR 보고교육이 의사소통 명확성, 의사소통능력 및 보고자신감을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났으므로 임상실습에서 SBAR를 적극 활용할 것을 권장한다.

일 지역 간호학과 학생과 의학전문대학원생간의 죽음에 대한 태도와 호스피스완화의료에 대한 인식비교 (The Differences of Attitude to Death and Perception on Hospice-Palliative Care between Nursing and Medical Students in an Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of attitude to death and perception on HPC between nursing and medical students. The data was collected by questionnaires and the period of data collection was from September 17 to October 12, 2012. The results were as followings. Statistically significant differences were found course of knowing HPC(${\chi}^2$=24.29, p<.001), reason of unactive introduction(${\chi}^2$=15.92, p=.003), having to CPR in irresponsive terminal situation to you(${\chi}^2$=4.62, p=.032) and to your family(${\chi}^2$=5.64, p=.018), decision-making about DNR(${\chi}^2$=12.28, p=.002), awareness to medical authority legal representative(${\chi}^2$=14.75, p<.001), awareness (${\chi}^2$=11.01, p=.001) and subject(${\chi}^2$=24.73, p<.001) of AD, addiction(p<.001), tolerance(p<.001), taking a point(${\chi}^2$=23.28, p<.001) of narcotic analgesics and control of pain(p=.532). The findings of the study provides the basis for expanding practice and education to hospice-palliative care for nursing and medical students.

`2008 개정 보건과' 교육과정 운영 효과 - 중학생을 대상으로- (Effects on Health Educational Curriculum Revised in 2008 for Middle School Students, South Korea)

  • Purpose: This study purposed to examine the effect on health educational curriculum by grasping knowledge, attitude, and the extent of practicing it after giving a health education curriculum for 17 hours. Methods: This study was a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest conducted with the first-graders enrolled in a middle school students in Gyeonggi Province. A total of 191 completed questionnaires from the test group and the control group each were used for the final analysis. The survey period was from March 5 to March 13, 2009 before the education was given from July 20 to July 25, 2009 after the education. A total of 38 questions were used to measure knowledge and a total of 39 questions were used to measure attitude and practice. This study used $x^2$ test, ANOVA, and t-test, Paired t-test. Results: After the health education curriculum was given, the test group s knowledge of health education was found higher than that of the control group. There was a difference between two groups, but considering the perfect score of 38, the knowledge scores of both groups were not high. With regard to each group s attitude and practice of health education, the study compared the scores obtained before and after the education and found that the test group had higher scores than the control group, showing a significant difference. Conclusion: In order for a health education curriculum to successfully have favorable influence on the health of teenagers, the curriculum should be offered for a more extended period of time than 17 hours and as a compulsory course, not a selective one, so that all the students can develop their health management capabilities.

간호학생의 문제중심학습 기반 시뮬레이션 실습 프로그램 개발 및 효과: 혼합연구방법 (Development and Effects of Problem-Based Learning Based on Simulation Practice Program for Nursing Students: Mixed Methods Research)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생 대상으로 문제중심학습 기반의 시뮬레이션 실습 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하기 위한 혼합연구이다. 자료수집은 2021년 4월 19일부터 6월 11일까지 J도 소재 일개 대학 간호학과 학생 91명의 구조화된 설문지와 12명의 초점집단면담을 실시하였고 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 주제분석을 활용하여 분석하였다. 양적연구결과, 문제중심학습 기반의 시뮬레이션 실습 프로그램은 대상자의 임상수행능력(t=2.78, 𝜌=.006), 학습만족도(t=2.41, 𝜌=.017)와 자신감(t=2.81, 𝜌=.005)을 향상시키는 데 효과가 있었으나, 문제해결능력 향상에는 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 질적연구 결과, 4개의 중심주제와 8개의 하위주제가 도출되었으며, 도출된 중심주제는 '우선순위에 근거한 통합적인 간호를 학습함', '의사소통을 통한 팀 상호협동을 경험함', '중환자간호를 선명하게 학습함', 그리고 '간호역량이 향상됨'이었다. 본 연구는 혼합연구방법을 통하여 문제중심학습 기반의 시뮬레이션 실습 효과를 검증하였다는데 의의가 있으며 간호학생 대상으로 근거 기반의 시뮬레이션 실습 교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초적인 자료로 제공되어 실습교육 현장에서 다양하게 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

고혈압 환자의 건강행태와 생활습관 실천정도 (The Health Care Status and Healthy Life Practices of Hypertensive Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the health care status and healthy life practices among hypertensive patients in our South Korea in a bid to provide some information on the efficient management of hypertension. Methods: The data of the fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey of 2011 (KNHANES V-2) was utilized to analyze the state of hypertension management of 1,932 adults who were at the Western age of 19 and up and suffered from hypertension in order to identify what factors were related to their health care status and healthy life practices. IBM SPSS/WIN Statistics 20 software was employed, and frequency analysis and a ${\chi}^2$-test were carried out. Results: According to the results of the analysis, subjective health status, depression, and suicidal thoughts were significantly related to variable income, while health status and healthy life practices were not significant in town. Furthermore Depression, alcohol dependency, and walking were significant in hypertension patients who had experienced hypertension education programs. Conclusion: This study will provide database on hypertension management. Furthermore, multidisciplinary approaches should be taken for efficient and effective care for hypertension patients.

MSN/MBA 이중학위 프로그램 개발 (Curriculum Development of MSN-MBA Dual Degree Program)

  • Purpose: This study aimed at curriculum development of master of science in nursing(MSN) and master of business administration(MBA) dual degree program. Method: This study performed a comprehensive review of 36 foreign MSN/MBA dual degree programs and 5 MBA programs in Korea, and analyzed philosophy, objectives, required credits to graduation, core subjects and electives, admission criteria of the programs. Results: The proposal of dual degree program consisted of 60 credits which are divided into 24 nursing credits and 36 business administration credits. Another program for graduate school of nursing are composed of 38 credits which includes consists of 14 nursing credits, 20 management credits, and 4 prerequisites. condusion: The curriculum that was proposed in this study will equip nurses to meet the challenges of future healthcare provision and will be a model to other areas of nursing practice and curriculum development.

요양병원 간호사의 통증관리에 대한 지식, 태도, 수행정도 (Pain Management Knowledge, Attitudes, and Performance of Nurses in Long-Term Care Hospitals)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 요양병원 간호사의 통증관리 지식, 태도, 수행정도를 파악하여 추후 요양병원 통증관리 교육을 설계하는데 기초자료로 활용하고자 실시되었다. 방법: 본 연구는 4개 요양병원에서 근무하는 간호사 120명을 대상으로 한 횡단적 조사연구이다. 통증관리 지식과 통증관리 태도는 원래 연구도구는 Watt-Watson이 개발한 도구를 사용하였고, 통증관리 수행정도는 요양병원에서의 통증관리 가이드라인들을 근거로 연구자가 개발하여 사용하였다. 결과: 본 연구의 결과 통증관리 지식은 40점 만점 평균 26.2점이었다. 가장 많이 틀린 문항은 통증의 주관성에 대한 항목으로 '통증에 따르는 환자의 생리적, 행동적 반응을 보고 통증의 유무와 강도를 파악할 수 있다(89.2%)'였고, 56.7%는 내성의 증가는 마약성 진통제 중독을 의미한다고 생각하였다. 통증관리 태도와 실무에 관해서는, 80.2%가 통증을 자주 호소하는 환자에게 위약을 사용한다고 하였고, 위약사용은 간호사가 두 번째로 자주 사용하는 통증관리 방법이었다. 결론: 본 연구는 요양병원 간호사의 통증관리 지식이 낮고 태도가 부적절한 것으로 나타났고, 이는 통증관리 실무에 부정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 요양병원 간호사들에게 통증관리 교육, 특히 통증의 속성과 위약남용에 대한 교육이 시급하다.
