Majority of elementary school in Korea are built by standard plan in 1980s. Being deteriorated and uniform, they have lots of problems to meet the new education curriculum and generate environmental problems in terms of its performances. This research intends to review the conditions of classroom units related with the environmental issues and provide the directions of sustainable renovation to meet the updated curriculum focusing on daylighting and ventilation systems for the classroom built by standard plan in 1980s.

Objective : In March 2004, the second Informal Consultation Meeting on Development of International Standard of Acupuncture Point Locations was held in Beijing, China. Methods: Thirteen experts from WHO, Korea, China, and Japan attended the meeting, and they discussed the problems to establish an international standard of acupuncture point locations for education, research and quality of acupuncture treatment. Results and Conclusions : Based on the fundamental principles of respecting and reality, they recommended to determined the location of acupuncture points in the way of combining documentary analysis, clinical practices and factual measurements.

In this paper, we studied on the effective structure of an e-Learning Korean Support System for foreigner based on computer systems which is to obey the rules of IMS/AICC International Standard regulations based on LCMS and SCORM. The most important task on this study is to support the function of self-study module through the review of the analysis and results of Korean learning and learning customs. We studied the effective PMS detail modules as well as the Standard Competency Module Management System, which related to LMS/LCMS, Learning an Individual Competency Management System, Competency Registry/Repository System, Knowledge Management System based on Community Competency Module, Education e-survey System and Module learning Support Service System. We suggested one of standard Effective Model of learning Korean Support System which is adopted in a various techniques for foreigner.

There are many reason for unsafety action without safety operation. The reason is no standard safety operation in company or the workers never get a enough education. Standard safety operation is prepared by paper for accurate directions and orders and operators must read the paper to prevent an error of action. Also an essential particular is safety of equipment and machine must be assumed to establish standard safety operation then safety of operations will be possible.

The purpose of this study was to examine the determinants of expenditure adequacy of eldery households. Data for this study were collected from 2002 House Income and Expenditure Survey of Korea National Statistical Office, which is consisting of a sample of 918 eldery households. Expenditure adequacy was investigated by the Spending to Income ratio and Expenditure to Minimum standard of living ratio. The results showed that 48% of households spent more than 100% of their taken-home income or less than the minimum standard of living. Multiple logistic regression was used to investigate the determinants of expenditure adequacy. Gender, age, education, job status, family size, and level of income were significant determinants of spending to income ratio and Expenditure to Minimum standard of living ratio. Family size had negative effect on expenditure adequacy, householder's job status and the level of income had positive relationship with it.

In this paper we present a non-standard finite difference method for solving a fractional decay model. The proposed NSFDM is constructed by incorporating a non-standard denominator function, resulting in an explicit numerical scheme as easy as the conventional Euler method, but it provides very accurate solutions and has unconditional stability. Two examples from the literature are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed numerical scheme, which is compared to three methods from the literature. It is found that the method's estimated errors are extremely minimal, such as within the machine precision.

The purpose of this study is to make a list of scientific terms to decrease students' difficulties of science learning. By using inductive method, database has established from elementary school science textbooks and laboratory observation books. All terms from physics area of science textbooks and laboratory observation books at the levels of grade 3 to 6 were analyzed based on the Standard Korean Dictionary (1999) and Book of Physics Terminology (2005). As a result, we made a list of 204 scientific terms by grade level. Those were 51 words for grade 3, 55 words for grade 4, 56 words for grade 5, and 42 words for grade 6. And there were some incongruities among textbooks, the Standard Korean Dictionary and the Book of Physics Terminology.

The aim of this study was to introduce the history and development of German organic farming(Bio-dynamic Agriculture and organic agriculture) which has a worldwide reputation and initiative in organic agriculture. And also the organization of organic producer's or farmer's group such as AGOL, POB, OSL, ALOG & Schweisfurth Stiftung and its regional distribution, the basic standard of organic farming and certification system for organic food, an actual cultivated area for organic forming and organic livestock were also shortly reported. The government subsidizing programmes and Agenda 2000, the extension services for organic farming by government and private level, the research activities of organic agriculture by governmental research body(FAL) and universities, the education system for organic agriculture in the German universities(University of Bonn, Gesamthochschule Kassel, University of Hohenheim, University of Gie$\beta$en and etc) were also explained. In the conclusion it was suggested several issues what should be considered to facilitate an organic farming in Korea in the view of organic production, marketing, distributing, extension and organic processing.

The purpose of this study was to classify the standard classification of fishery occupations base on KECO(Korean Employment Classification of Occupation) in Korea. The result of this study was as follows. First ranks was fisheries duties, second ranks were classified into five categories. Third ranks classify based on second ranks. Administration duties management duties financial affairs duties were classified fishery administration, fishery management, fishery financial affairs. Social service duties marketing duties individual service duties were classified fishery social service, fishery marketing, fishery individual service. Construction duties civil engineering duties were classified fishery construction, fishery civil engineering. Machinery duties manufacture duties repairing duties were classified fishery machinery duties, fishery manufacture, fishery repairing. Production duties were classified fishery processing, marine products, fishery environment. Fourth ranks was classified according to third ranks.

The Keyongin Inland waterway will connect with Han-River and the Northen part of the Incheon-seaway and this way will be opened at the early of October this year. In this regard, the Incheon container terminal is under constructing for 1,000 TEU & 550 TEU container vessels at the place of leftside of the Seohae lockgate. However the terminal length is not still fixed due to at a great expenses of construction and dosposal matter of the dredged soil. So this paper will suggest the optimum berth length by using the full mission shiphandling simulator for berthing and unberthing shipmaneuvering. And also evaluates the design standard of harbor construction rules and analysis optimum berth length against ship's length for safe shiphandling at terminals in accordance with the customary practices of the major ports in Korea.
