  • It has been a year since the $Pok{\acute{e}}monGo$ has been released. Over the past year, the $Pok{\acute{e}}monGo$ have become a social phenomenon. This study analyzes the dual characteristics play of the original $Pok{\acute{e}}mon$ game. The Pocket Monster game, which has both casual and hardcore capabilities, has a broader player base and enjoys popularity for 20 years, satisfying the requirement of easy and convenient access, which is an advantage of casual games. In addition, the rating battle system of $Pok{\acute{e}}mon$ game turns casual play into hardcore play. In this paper, we analyze the dual play characteristics of longevity games such as Pocket Monsters, and propose strategies and directions for game development that can survive long term in the competitive game market.

  • The cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP), a key player in cholesterol metabolism, has been shown to promote the transfer of triglycerides from very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) to high density lipoprotein (HDL) in exchange for cholesterol ester. Here we demonstrate that farnesoid X receptor ${\alpha}$ ($FXR{\alpha}$; NR1H4) down-regulates CETP expression in HepG2 cells. A $FXR{\alpha}$ ligand, chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA), suppressed basal mRNA levels of the CETP gene in HepG2 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Using gel shift and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays, we found that $FXR{\alpha}$ could bind to the liver X receptor ${\alpha}$ ( $LXR{\alpha}$; NR1H3) binding site (LXRE; DR4RE) located within the CETP 5' promoter region. $FXR{\alpha}$ suppressed $LXR{\alpha}$-induced DR4RE-luciferase activity and this effect was mediated by a binding competition between $FXR{\alpha}$ and $LXR{\alpha}$ for DR4RE. Furthermore, the addition of CDCA together with a $LXR{\alpha}$ ligand, GW3965, to HepG2 cells was shown to substantially decrease mRNA levels of hepatic CETP gene, which is typically induced by GW3965. Together, our data demonstrate that $FXR{\alpha}$ down-regulates CETP gene expression via binding to the DR4RE sequence within the CETP 5' promoter and this $FXR{\alpha}$ binding is essential for $FXR{\alpha}$ inhibition of $LXR{\alpha}$-induced CETP expression.

  • The purpose of this research was to explore the phenomenon of object relations with musical instruments as experienced by professional Samulnori musicians. The researcher conducted in-depth individual interviews with five Samulnori players who also completed questionnaires with open-ended questions. The data were analyzed using Giorgi(2004)'s phenomenological methodology. The results offered 121 semantic units, seven subcategories, and three main categories. The three main categories were transitional object, object of expression and recognition of internal desires, and object for recognition of others and communication. These results suggest that the ensemble format of Samulnori promotes the development of the musician's object relationship and can externalize the player's internalized representational system and interaction method. This study is significant in that it reveals the endopsychic functional relationship between a musician and their instrument and provides the basis for the use of Samulnori instruments in music therapy.

  • The study looked at a cross section of inter-Korean sports through the lives of female north korean defector. The researcher was a north korean national team player in the early and mid-1990s and defected to the north and played for the national team in South Korea. After her retirement, she became a coach, but felt limited and left the sports world. After analyzing the informant's interviews, the prevailing idea was that she was always politically used, and there was a regret that he was spotlighted as a defector rather than an athletic skill. And she was not in a position to choose between South Korea and North Korea. It was also shown that inter-Korean sports exchanges could not be developed unless economic conditions were supported. As a stranger, the research participants felt alienated and adapted to South Korea. Her life is an example of experiencing inter-Korean sports at the same time, and it is believed that she can have personal, specific, and concrete characteristics while showing universality in the upcoming era of unification.

  • Children are by nature curious and enthusiastic about learning and love to explore and search for everything they see around them, but as a result of this exploration they may sometimes be exposed to dangerous situations ranging from falls to poisoning and suffocation. That is why when supporting a child's natural desire to explore the world and supporting his awareness of dangerous situations and good handling of them, helps him build a conscious scientific mind and enhance his curiosity in the natural world. It is not easy to imagine a difficult situation in which we or one of our family is in danger, unable to help ourselves or to help them in time, due to our complete ignorance of the rules of first aid. Hence the importance of learning first aid not only for the child but for the community and the world at large. "Hakeem" is an Arabic E-health educational application that aims to teach children from the age of six to eleven years first aid, in our belief that the seed of renaissance lies in the care and education of children, and the lack of Arabic content that aims to teach children first aid skills. The idea is to create a scenario in which the child is responsible for saving the person who will be in a dangerous situation using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, to increase engagement and interaction and provides a rich user experience, and according to the child's performance, he will get reward points. The game will have several levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Hakeem, and based on the player's points he will get a title and move to the next level, and when he reaches the end, he will get the certificate.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship with the Y-Balance Test, which evaluates dynamic balance ability according to the ankle joint dorsiflexion range of motion in a non-weight bearing posture. This study involved 27 male soccer players who regularly participate in the K3 League with more than 10 years of soccer experience. The Pearson Rank Correlation Coefficient was used to verify the relationship between ankle joint dorsiflexion and dynamic balance ability. The results of this study showed significant differences in PLRD (P<.05) and CS (P<.01) in the HADR group. A significant correlation between ankle joint dorsi-flexion range of motion and severity was found only in PMRD, PLRD, and CS. Therefore, a decrease in ankle joint dorsi-flexion is associated with a decrease in balance ability. In order to prevent injuries in soccer players, it is believed that regular evaluation of ankle joint range of motion as well as training to improve knee and hip joint strength and proprioception are necessary.

Catastrophic Art and Its Instrumentalized Selection System : From work by Hunter Jonakin and Dan Perjovschi (재앙적 예술과 그 도구화된 선별체계: 헌터 조너킨과 댄 퍼잡스키의 작품으로부터)

  • In terms of element and process, art today has already been fully systemized, yet tends to become even more systemized. All phases of creation and exhibition, appreciation and education, promotion and marketing are planned, adjusted, and decided within the order of a globalized, networked system. Each phase is executed, depending on the system of management and control and diverse means corresponding to the system. From the step of education, artists are guided to determine their styles and not be motivated by their desire to become star artists or running counter to mainstream tendency and fashion. In the process of planning an exhibition, the level of artist awareness is considered more significant than work quality. It is impossible to avoid such systems and institutions today. No one can escape or be freed from the influence of such system. This discussion addresses a serious distortion in the selection system as part of the system connotatively called "art museum system," especially to evaluate artistic achievement and aesthetic quality. Called "studio system" or "art star system," the system distinguishes successful minority from failed absolute majority and justifies the results, deciding discriminative compensations. The discussion begins from work by Hunter Jonakin and Dan Perjovschi. The key point of this discussion is not their art worlds but the shared truth referred by the two as the collusive "art market" and "art star system." Through works based on their experiences, the two artists refer to these systems which restrict and confine them. Jonakin's Jeff Koons Must Die! is avideo game conveying a critical comment on authoritative operation of the museum system and star system. In this work, participants, whether viewer or artist, are destined to lose: the game is unwinnable. Players take the role of a person locked in a museum where artist Jeff Koons' retrospective is held. The player can either look around and quietly observe the works, which causes a game-over, or he can blow the classical paintings to pieces and cause the artist Koons to come out and reprimand the player, also resulting in a game-over. Like Jonakin, Dan Perjovschi's some drawings also focuses on the status of the artist shrunken by the system. Most artists are ruined in a process of competition to survive within the museum system. As John Burger properly pointed out, out of the art systems today, public collections (art museums) and private collections have become "something unbearable." The system justifies the selection system of art stars and its frame of reference, disregarding the problem of producing numerable victims in its process. What should be underlined above all else is that the present selection system seriously shrinks art's creative function and its function of generating meaning. In this situation, art might fall to the level of entertainment, accessible to more people and compromising with popularity. This discussion is based on assumption and consciousness on the matter that this situation might cause catastrophic results for not only explicit victims of the system but also winners, or ones defined as winners. The system of art is probably possible only by desire or distortion stemmed from such desire. The system can be flourished only under the economic system of avarice: quantitatively expanding economy, abundant style, resort economy in Venice and Miami, and luxurious shopping malls with up-to-date facilities. The catastrophe here is ongoing, not a sudden emergence, and dynamic, leading the system itself to a devastating end.

  • This study examined the effects of song-based group music therapy on the exercise stress and positive psychological capital of youth soccer players. Eighty youth soccer players were assigned to either a song-based music therapy group or a control group. For the analysis of the effects of song-based group music therapy, the Exercise Stress scale and the Athlete Positive Psychological Capital scale were administered before and after the intervention. The collected data were analyzed using an independent sample t test and paired t test. The results were as follows. First, the experimental group showed a significantly lower posttest score on the exercise stress measure than the control group (p < .01). The control group showed a significant increase from pretest to posttest on the exercise stress measure (p < .05). Second, the experimental group scored significantly higher at posttest than the control group on the positive psychological capital measure (p < .01). The control group demonstrated a statistically significant decrease from pretest to posttest on the positive psychological capital scale (p < .05). The results suggest that song-based group music therapy is an effective treatment method that lowers exercise stress and raises positive psychological capital of youth soccer players.
