  • The study aims to explore the empirical effect of social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment on job satisfaction, and also to prove the theoretical model regarding affective commitment as a mediator between social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach to the survey method through a Likert scale model questionnaire. The questionnaire for all research variables is reliable with an alpha coefficient > 0.7. The research participants are comprised of 386 teachers in Indonesia selected by accidental sampling. Data analysis uses path analysis supported by descriptive statistics and correlational matrices. The research results indicate that social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Besides, affective commitment also indirectly mediates the effect of social intelligence, integrity, and self-efficacy on job satisfaction. Thus, a new model regarding the effect of social intelligence, integrity, and self-efficacy on job satisfaction mediating by affective commitment was confirmed. The research suggested that the teachers' job satisfaction can improve through social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment. Therefore, researchers and practitioners can adopt a new empirical model to enhance job satisfaction through social intelligence, integrity, self-efficacy, and affective commitment in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the research model and identify the causal relationship among leader's super leadership, self-leadership, psychological empowerment, sport commitment and performance perceived by Taekwondo athletes. The subjects of the study were middle and high school Taekwondo athletes registered in the Korea Taekwondo Association in 2020 and 2021, and data from 454 people were used as final effective samples through convenience sampling. The collected data used the SPSS 23.0 version and the Amos 21.0 version to verify the hypothesis. As a result, the following conclusions were obtained. First, we discovered that the leader's super leadership had a positive impact on the athlete's self-leadership, psychological empowerment, and sport commitment. Second, we found that the athlete's self-leadership had a positive effect on psychological empowerment, sport commitment, and performance. Third, we found that athlete's psychological empowerment had a positive effect on sport commitment and performance. Fourth, we found that the athlete's sport commitment had a negative effect on performance. Therefore, this study has reminded us about importance of psychological empowerment and sport commitment for explaining the relationship between leadership type and performance perceived by Taekwondo athletes, and might contribute to the theoretical discussion of variables related to athletes' performance.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of organizational learning culture on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Two streams of scholarly work have provided the theoretical foundations for this study. The first stream comes from the literature on learning organization. The second stream of the theoretical foundation comes from an extensive literature on attitude-intention-behavior relationships. In addition, this study was tested three alternative models. Alternative model 1 employed job satisfaction as the mediating commitments variable between learning culture and organizational commitment. Alternative model 2 used organizational commitment as the mediating variable between learning culture and job satisfaction. Finally, alternative model 3 specified a direct impact of learning culture on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and reciprocal linkages between these two variables. The results of this study support the hypothesized relations among an organization's learning culture, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The findings of this study are various congruent with a widely accepted hypothesis that job satisfaction serves as an appraisal function in evaluating various work environments and determining emotional responses such as organizational commitment. Organizational learning culture is one of the important factors that organizations cannot overlook. Therefore, the findings of this study provide a new direction for researchers seeking to explain the complex relations among these central organizational variables.

Methods: Our survey was administered to 393 school foodservice dietitian in the Busan area on February 11, 2014. Results: For verification of mean differences, the mean scores for surface acting, deep acting, affective commitment, and continuance commitment were found to be 2.53/5.00, 3.71, 2.88, and 3.57, respectively. The mean surface acting score was significantly different according to age (p<0.001), total length of career as a dietitian (p<0.01), school type (p<0.001), and employment status (p<0.05). The mean deep acting and turnover intention scores were significantly different according to age (p<0.001), total length of career as a dietitian (p<0.001), school type (p<0.001), employment status (p<0.001), and no. of meals served (p<0.001). The mean customer orientation score was significantly different according to age (p<0.05), employment status (p<0.01), and number of work hour (p<0.05). There was a positive correlation (p<0.01) between turnover intention and surface acting and continuance commitment, but a negative correlation (p<0.01) with deep acting and affective commitment. Also, there was a positive correlation (p<0.01) between customer orientation and deep acting, affective commitment, but a negative correlation (p<0.01) with surface acting. Affective commitment had a negative influence on turnover intention (${\beta}=-0.444$, p<0.001), but surface acting had a positive influence on turnover intention (${\beta}=0.110$, p<0.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that management of affective commitment is essential for decreasing turnover intention.
