사회적 기업가정신과 혼합가치 지향성이 사회적 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Entrepreneurship and Blended Value Orientation on Performance of Social Enterprises)

  • 사회적 가치 창출과 경제적 지속가능성을 동시에 추구하는 사회적 기업가정신에 관한 연구가 최근 국내외에서 빠른 속도로 증가했다. 연구자들은 사회적 기업의 성과 향상에 사회적 기업가정신이 주요한 요인이라는 점에 주목해 다수의 실증연구를 수행하였다. 하지만 대부분의 연구에서 사회적 기업의 성과를 기업가의 주관적 인식에 기초하여 측정하고 있어 동일방법편의의 한계를 내포하고 있다. 또한 사회적 기업가정신이라는 기업가의 개인적 특성이 사회적 및 경제적 성과라는 특수한 이중적 목표 달성에 영향을 미치는 구체적인 과정을 설명할 수 있는 실증적 증거도 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 변수 간의 실증 규명을 위한 성과 측정의 객관성을 높이고, 사회적·경제적 성과를 단일한 것으로 보는 특성인 혼합가치 지향성을 포함하여 사회적 기업가정신이 성과에 미치는 영향을 재검증한다. 연구의 목적은 사회적 기업가정신과 혼합가치 지향성이 사회적 기업의 사회적 및 경제적 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. SK의 사회성과인센티브(SPC)에 참여한 국내 사회적 기업의 인식조사와 객관적인 성과 자료를 활용하여 회귀분석을 수행한 결과, 사회적 기업가정신의 하위 요인인 위험감수성이 경제적 성과와 사회적 성과에 대해 유의한 수준에서 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 사회적 기업가정신은 혼합가치 지향성을 향상시키며, 혼합가치 지향성은 사회적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 사회적 기업가정신과 혼합가치 지향성이 성과에 차별적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 규명하였으며, 선행 연구에서의 주관성 측정과 동일방법편의의 극복을 시도하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

  • Since the introduction of animal traction technologies(ATT) in many Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) countries, attempts to propagate its widespread use in the continent have suffered several setbacks. Many factors are responsible of this. However, developments in the African economies are believed to be a prominent factor. This study provides empirical evidence of the impact of economic growth on the performance of ATT-in Sub-Saharan Africa(SSa). The analysis uses 1971-1990 time-series data on ATT from botswana. The performance of ATT is measured on the basis of changes year covered under this study. The models used, are a regression model and a trend projection model. Although the regression model is representing a simplified view of the relationship between ATT and economic growth , it takes account of the influence of annual amounts of rainfall. It is concluded that economic growth has had a negative impact on the performance of ATT in Botwana. As the country's Gross Domestic Pro uct (GDP) steadily increased over the period of the analysis, the number of households using ATT declined at a rate of 2.5% per year. The impact of the GDP on ATT was directly associated with increases in the use of tractor, food imports and beef exports. The results have serious policy implications for agricultural development in many African countries that are not capable of sustaining their economic growth.

Impact of Economic Value in the O2O Distribution Channel on Brand Attractiveness and Performance

  • Purpose: With the unique feature of O2O, consumers are now able to check the profile of the services and products online and then consume them in offline venues or vice versa. This study provides motivation and practical implications about online-to-offline (O2O) distribution channels and investigates the relationship between economic values, service consistency and brand identity attractiveness in the O2O distribution channel. Then identify the impact of brand identity attractiveness on the performance (reputation and reuse intention). Research design, data, and methodology: Structural equation modeling (SEM) has been used to investigate the relationship between economic value and brand identity attractiveness, which affects the reputation and reuse intention of services in O2O. Results: Empirical results show the positive and significant impact of economic value and service consistency on brand identity attractiveness which results the positive and significant impact on performance (reputation and reuse intention) in O2O. Conclusion: In the O2O distribution channel, economic value is an important aspect for the attractive image and brand identity. On the other side, brand identity attractiveness is important for the bright future of O2O services, continuous growth, achieving the distinct goal, keeping good promises with customers, and a better reputation of O2O services in distribution channels.

고등어 외해가두리양식의 경제성 분석 (An Economic Feasibility Study of Mackerel Offshore Aquaculture Production System)

  • This study aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production performance in Jeju region, Korea. Based on the collected biological, costs and market price data, farming revenue and expenses during the farming period were evaluated, and the net present value and the internal rate of return of a 10-year cash inflow and cash outflow were estimated to determine the economic feasibility of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production system. Model results indicated that the Mackerel offshore aquaculture production performance would have high profitability under the current production and market situation. This is because of the relatively high survival rate, relatively low feed conversion ratio and good market prices. However, sensitivity analyses of main important biological and economic variables showed that the economic viability of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production system would be highly vulnerable to production and market condition changes.

정보화 효과지표의 업종별 분석 (Analysis of the Indices for Economic Effects through Informatization According to Industry Types)

  • The economic effects of informatization are differently occurred according to industry types. Thus an evaluation methodology which reflects the industry type characteristics of informatization is needed. In this paper, we develop and analyze the indices for evaluating economic effects through informatization according to industry types, such as manufacturing, construction, financial services and marketing services. The factors related to performance of enterprise informatization can be defined as cost factors, effect factors, risk factors and influence factors. Effect factors are defined as quantitative or qualitative performance of informatization and classified into operational effect factors and strategic effect factors. The influence factor is defined as characteristics of informatization for industry types, that is, value chain of business and business products or services. Economic effect indices are classified according to the activity of business value chain. Economic effects indices of this research can be expected to play a role of general and standardized factors for economic evaluation of industry informatization.

일본 물류기업의 경영성과에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on Management Performance of Logistics Companies in Japan)

  • 본 연구는 최근 10여년을 대상으로 일본의 경제 지표와 물류업의 경영활동 성과지표의 변화 특징을 분석하고자 한다. 그리고 물류기업의 사업전략과 관련된 집단별 경영성과에 대해 비교 분석함으로써 경제 환경의 변화 속에서 물류업의 전략행동이 경영성과에 어떻게 나타났는지를 밝히는 것이 주된 목적이다. 연구분석 방법으로는 상관관계분석, 교차분석, 분산분석을 이용하였다, 핵심적 연구결과를 요약하면, 첫째 물류기업의 수입은 GDP, 무역액, 주가 등의 경기지표와 상관성이 높게 나타났는데, 특히 육상운송업은 주가와 해운업은 무역액과 상관성이 높았다. 둘째 물류기업의 사업전략 변인인 업종과 생산구조 특징 간에는 상관성이 발견되었고, 업종별 상이한 전략이 적합한 것으로 이해되었다. 셋째 사업전략의 변인이 경영성과 변수에 미치는 영향은 유의미하게 나타났으며, 특히 3개요인의 상호작용효과가 수익률에 미치는 영향의 차이를 이해할 수 있었다. 이 같은 연구결과는 최근 10년 동안의 일본의 경제환경 변화 속에서 물류기업이 높은 경영성과를 얻을 수 있는 기업전략이 무엇이었는지 이해함에 큰 도움이 된다.

경제환경 변화가 재무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Economic Environment Change on the Financial Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial performance according to the economic environment change. The data of 4,577 households in 2003 and 3994 households in 2000 is from the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study. The data were analyzed by various statistical methods such as frequency, mean-test, Duncan's multiple range test, k-mean cluster analysis. Findings were as follows; First, the classified household financial strategy types were Residual(44.3%), Financial Assets(24.0%), Informal Institutional(19.7%), Diversified Portfolio(7.6%), Real Estate(4.5%). Second, the criteria of classification of the financial strategies were relative, not absolute. Third, the rate of economic growth was high and the index of the current money was low in 2000. Fourth, households that employed a diversified portfolio strategy had the greatest net wealth.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this country analysis is to examine its current state: economically, politically, legally, and ethically, and look at small and medium Algerian businesses to identify any issues that could hinder economic and business performance and growth. Research Design, and Methodology - This is a case study, an analytical approach, which focuses on exploring and analyzing different aspects of Algeria. Results - Since 2008, the Algerian economy has experienced a relative slowdown due to falling oil and gas prices and the economic recessions of its main trading partners, in particular, European countries. Algeria has still not managed to diversify its economy or establish competitive industrialization at the international level; it has had difficulty shifting from its economic dependence on hydrocarbons. Algerian businesses continue to face obstacles and constraints, penalized in their performance and prevented from success in a dense and competitive global marketplace. Conclusion - The Algerian economy and Algerian businesses have shown positive performance and growth over the last few decades. However, issues exist that may hinder both business and economic progress in the future.

  • Today, the power utilities is setting on the slow load growth and the aging of power equipment, and then could spend the efforts on the stability of system performance. Asset management may be defined as the process of maximizing corporate profit by maximizing performance and minimizing cost over the entire life cycle of power equipment. Therefore, asset management is great way to fulfill the economic investment and the stability of system performance. This paper presents the application of effective asset managem ent from an economic perspective. A proposed method is considering the life cycle analysis using life cycle cost methodology for hydro-generator during the total life cycle. The life cycle cost methodology include a way to calculating maintenance and operating costs. The proposed method will be expected to play an important role in investment decision making considering economic evaluation.

The Effect of Training, Information Technology, Intellectual and Emotional Intelligence on Teacher's Performance

  • The performance of a teacher has an important role in the success of education in general. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the decline in teacher performance in one of the junior secondary schools in Indonesia. Based on the literature review, four exogenous variables were identified, namely, training, utilization of information technology, intellectual intelligence, and emotional intelligence. This study uses primary data, collected from a questionnaire distributed to respondents. The questionnaire items are measured using a Likert scale. The sample in this study were all teachers at MTS Darul Falah Sirahan, totaling 32 people. The analysis technique used in testing the hypothesis of this study is multiple regression analysis. Statistical product and service solutions are used as analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that only the variable 'utilization of information technology' has a positive and significant effect. However, the variables 'training,' 'intellectual intelligence,' and 'emotional intelligence' did not have a significant effect. This finding contradicts the literature in general. Therefore, this study recommends improving training methods, both those carried out internally by schools and by related agencies, and schools still need to optimize guidance and potential for teacher's intelligence in improving performance.
