  • As the degree of dependency and application of component increases, the need to strengthen security of component is also increased as well. The component gives an advantage to improve development productivity through its reusable software. Even with this advantage, vulnerability of component security limits its reuse. When the security level of a component is raised in order to improve this problem, the most problematic issue will be that it may extend its limitation on reusability. Therefore, a component model concerning its reusability and security at the same time should be supplied. We suggest a Separation of Concerns Security Model for Extension of Component Reuse which is integrated with a wrapper model and an aspect model and combined with a reuse model in order to extend its security and reusability by supplying information hiding and easy modification, and an appropriate application system to verify the model's compatibility is even constructed. This application model gives the extension of component function and easy modification through the separation of conceits, and it raise its security as doll as extends its reusability.

  • The metacognitive experience of the ease or difficulty with which new, external information can be processed, referred to as 'processing fluency,' has been shown to influence a wide range of human judgments including truth judgments, familiarity judgments, risk perception, evaluation, and preference (see Alter and Oppenheimer 2009 for a review). The current research explores the possibility of a consumer's product innovativeness judgment based on the difficulty of processing new information. In specific, this study examines if the inferential link between (dis)fluency-(un)familiarity can feed into the perception of innovativeness. This study also explores how a consumer's processing motivation can moderate the consumer's reliance on processing fluency in judgments and how the influence of fluency can vary depending on judgment task orders. In an experiment, participants rated a new product's innovativeness and then indicated their product attitude (or vice versa depending on the judgment task order condition) after reading a product review article that was printed in either an easy-to-read or a difficult-to-read font (for fluency manipulation). The findings show that low need for cognition individuals infer higher product innovativeness when processing product information is difficult rather than easy, consistent with the common assumption that 'new information is more difficult to process than familiar information.' The findings also suggest that once low fluency is attributed to innovativeness, it may no longer lead to a negative response to the product. High need for cognition individuals' judgments on product innovativeness are not affected by fluency. The findings also demonstrate a judgment task order effect on the use of fluency in judgments (e.g., Xu and Schwarz 2005). This study provides the first evidence that an individual's fluency experience can be used as a source of information in product innovativeness judgments especially under low processing motivation conditions. The findings can help marketers better understand the malleability of consumer judgments and perceptions of product characteristics (e.g., product innovativeness) by demonstrating an interesting interplay of processing fluency, processing motivation, and judgment task-related contextual factors.

  • This research suggests maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for the solar photovoltaic (PV) power scheme using a new constant voltage (CV) fractional order incremental conductance (FOINC) algorithm. The PV panel has low transformation efficiency and power output of PV panel depends on the change in weather conditions. Possible extracting power can be raised to a battery load utilizing a MPPT algorithm. Among all the MPPT strategies, the incremental conductance (INC) algorithm is mostly employed due to easy implementation, less fluctuations and faster tracking, which is not only has the merits of INC, fractional order can deliver a dynamic mathematical modelling to define non-linear physiognomies. CV-FOINC variation as dynamic variable is exploited to regulate the PV power toward the peak operating point. For a lesser scale photovoltaic conversion scheme, the suggested technique is validated by simulation with dissimilar operating conditions. Contributions are made in numerous aspects of the entire system, including new control algorithm design, system simulation, converter design, programming into simulation environment and experimental setup. The results confirm that the small tracking period and practicality in tracking of photovoltaic array.

  • The jet pump is being used in many fields for several purposes because of its simple construction and easy operation. The characteristics of the geometrical variables, pressure gradient and velocity distribution of the jet pump are studied using the CFD technique. The flow calculations through a bended nozzle. a mixing chamber and a venturi are presented and phenomenological aspects are discussed. This study solve 3-D steady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations using the Iterative time marching scheme. The governing equations are differenced with 1st-order accurate backward difference scheme for the time derivatives and 3rd-order accurate QUICK scheme for the convective terms. The Mark-and-cell concept was applied efficiently to solve continuity equation, which is differenced 2nd-order accurate central differenced scheme. The 4th-order artificial damping is added to the continuity equation for numerical stability. A O-type of grid system is generated inside a nozzle and venturi of the jet pump. It has concluded that the results of present study properly agree with physical flow phenomena.

  • An analysis methodology of Decentralized Dynamic Surface Control (DDSC) for the large-scale interconnected nonlinear systems is presented in this paper. While the centralized DSC approach proposed in [14] has a difficulty to check the quadratic stability for the large-scale systems numerically due to dramatic increases of the order of overall augmented error dynamics, DDSC is relatively easy to check the quadratic stability since lower order error dynamics of individual subsystems are used. Then, a systematic procedure for designing DDSC will be developed. Furthermore, after a quadratic function containing a reachable set is defined, it will be calculated numerically to indicate the performance of DDSC in the framework of convex optimization. Finally an illustrative example will be given for showing the advantages of DDSC compared with other decentralized nonlinear control techniques.

  • A hearing aid performs the role of fitting in order to provide those with a hearing problem with a better hearing ability in ordinary circumstances. The existing Fitting system in the hearing aid is consisted somewhat complex, and simply performs the role of Fitting without any supervisions of those with a hearing problem. Such is these methods makes it unable to establish an organized supervision, and shows a problem in making high efficiency. In order to solve this problem mentioned as above, the based thesis have connected the Fitting program and the patient-management database program for the easy use by the user.

  • Recently, dynamic system has been enlarged and is exposed to various types of disturbance. Thus designing controller for those dynamic system under random disturbance is not practically easy. As a result, the exact analysis for the system which is exposed to various irregular disturbance is quite important. In order to perform analysis, conventional BMR(Balanced Model Reduction) method is applied to moment equation in stochastic domain and reliable reduced order system model has been obtained.

  • The safety should be primarily considered for air vehicle, such as helicopter, which is not easy to cope with when out of order or loss of control that followed catastrophe. The U.S National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigated and analyzed for 34 years rotorcraft accidents that occurred from 1963 through 1997. This paper handles intensively the relative investigation and analysis of recent 10 years domestic civil helicopter accidents to those of the United States in order to increase the safety of helicopter transportation and to consider the main design parameter before we develop Korean Civil Helicopter. To understand the overview of civil turbine helicopter accident, it uses the NTSB's accident investigation results and the overall accident trend for U.S civil single and twin turbine engine helicopter according to category, cause, activity, and phase of operation.

  • In order to develop reliable on-site partial discharge (PD) pattern recognition algorithm, we introduce Type-2 Fuzzy Neural Networks (T2FNNs) optimized by means of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO). T2FNNs exploit Type-2 fuzzy sets which have a characteristic of robustness in the diverse area of intelligence systems. Considering the on-site situation where it is not easy to obtain voltage phases to be used for PRPDA (Phase Resolved Partial Discharge Analysis), the PD data sets measured in the laboratory were artificially changed into data sets with shifted voltage phases and added noise in order to test the proposed algorithm. Also, the results obtained by the proposed algorithm were compared with that of conventional Neural Networks(NNs) as well as the existing Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNNs). The T2FNNs proposed in this study were appeared to have better performance when compared to conventional NNs and RBFNNs.
