  • This study analyzed the perception formed by artificial intelligence users by converging technology readiness index and technology acceptance models and expanding them to models considering artificial intelligence ethics in order to find out the impact of technology acceptance and ethics. Independent variables include optimism, transparency, ethical awareness, user-centeredness, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as potential variables affected by independent variables, and defined the intention of use as potential variables as dependent variables. The survey results from an online and offline of men and women aged over 17 years old across the country (N=260) from September 5 to October 12, 2020 were used in the analysis. The findings, first, showed that optimism had a significant static effect on perceived usefulness and ease of use. Second, ethical awareness (transparency, ethical awareness, user-centeredness) did not have a significant impact on perceived usefulness and ease of use. Third, perceived usefulness and ease of use are finally found to have a significant static effect on the intention of use. Fourth, perceived usefulness has a relatively high influence over ease of use.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of each of the two technology acceptance factors(employees' attitude toward smart factory technology, and ease of smart factory technology use) on the introduction level of each of the three smart factory technologies (manufacturing big data technology, automation technology, and supply chain integration technology), and in turn, the effect of each of the three smart factory technologies on manufacturing performance. This study employed PLS statistics software package to empirically validate a structural equation model with survey data from 100 domestic small-and medium-sized manufacturing firms (SMMFs). The analysis results revealed the followings. First, it is founded that employees' attitude toward smart factory technology influenced all of the three smart factory technology introduction levels in a positive manner. In particular, SMMFs of which employees had more favorable attitude toward smart factory technology tended to increase introduction levels of both automation technology and supply chain integration technology more than in the case of manufacturing big data technology. Second, ease of smart factory technology use also had a positive impact on each of the three smart factory technology introduction levels, respectively. A noteworthy finding is this : SMMFs which perceived smart factory technology as easier to use would like to elevate the introduction level of manufacturing big data technology more than in the cases of either automation technology or supply chain integration technology. Third, smart factory technologies such as automation technology and supply chain integration technology had affirmative impacts on manufacturing performance of SMMFs. These results shed some valuable insights on the introduction of smart factory technology : The success of smart factory heavily depends on organization-and people-related factors such as employees' attitude toward smart factory technology and employees' perceived ease of smart factory technology use.

  • The computational science and engineering field, which combines basic science and computing technology, has emerged as a third scientific methodology, following theories and experiments. This study aimed to identify factors and relationships that affect the continued use of the computational science and engineering (CSE) platform for its successful operation, utilization, and diffusion. To that end, the quality factors of the platform were derived by combining the information system success model and the technology acceptance model. These factors affected user satisfaction and intention to reuse through users' perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of the platform. An empirical analysis was conducted through a questionnaire survey of 373 users of the EDISON platform, a representative CSE platform in Korea. The results revealed that all quality factors have a positive influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Specifically, information quality has a significant influence on perceived ease of use, and system quality has a significant influence on perceived usefulness. Perceived ease of use has a greater impact on user satisfaction than perceived usefulness, and satisfaction affects intention to reuse. The results can contribute to the development of CSE platforms and the development strategy to expand the number of users.

  • Recently, Due to advances in smart-phones and mobile devices, the use of SNS is increasing in recent years. Online networking is building new paradigms in terms of creating personal needs. Along with the nature of mobile devices, it is expected to have a lot of impact on SNS service participation. The study focused on the effect of SNS on SNS participation and ease of use of social characteristics and ease of use of SNS. A survey was conducted on a survey of SNS users and analyzed the data through the structural equations. The study found that the study of social networking was statistically significant in terms of the intent of identifying the usefulness of SNS and ease of use and ease of use.

  • Real estate brokerage app service is an emerging online-to-offline (O2O) business model. This study analyze the relationship between the satisfaction and reuse of real estate app services through a survey of experienced users of the application. The results show that "ease of use" and "usefulness" of the online app service positively affect customer satisfaction and eventually affects reuse. Moreover, ease of use and usefulness of the offline brokerage introduced by the application positively affects customer satisfaction and eventually affects reuse too. One meaningful finding is the stronger impact of usefulness on customer satisfaction than that of ease of use in both online and offline situations. This finding implies that the value of usefulness is bigger than that of ease of use because of users who purposely use the application to find relevant real estates. The effect of online customer satisfaction on reuse is slightly higher than that of offline. This finding suggests that need to develop a strategy for online applications that focuses on enhancing the usefulness of real estate brokerage app services in the O2O market.

  • The objective of this study is to find the factors influencing the use of mobile service. We extracted critical study variables according to literature reviews about adoption of information systems, those under the internet environment and mobile internet adoption for theoretical foundation. TAM suggested by Davis(1985) has explained the acceptance mechanism with the following constructs: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, behavioral intention and actual usage. After studying prior literature reviews, this study investigated the group of people using mobile services. The result of study claims that it has same results with previous TAM, especially between personal innovativeness and attitude toward use have strong statistical relations. On the other hand, there haven't been any statistical relations between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness and between perceived usefulness and behavioral intention, either. In conclusion, use of mobile service can be promoted by developing various kinds of mobile service, designing device and interface to use mobile service more convenience and familiar, stimulating user's innovative characters and recognizing mobile service more useful in real life.

  • This paper touches the limitations of existing theories related to technology acceptance, which mainly focus on users' perceived ease of use and usefulness, and proposes the role for sensory capabilities and enjoyment in understanding smartphone use. Furthermore, we develop a model that explains smartphone usage and intention to use it for a task and analyzes 442 questionnaire survey responses of smartphone users. First, perceived usefulness, perceived sensory capability, and perceived enjoyment influenced smartphone usage. Second, we found that both perceived usefulness and smartphone use were significantly associated with users' intention to utilize the smartphone for their job-related tasks. Finally, both perceived sensory capability and enjoyment were found to be more powerful factors than ease of use in explaining smartphone use. From the study findings, implications and future research directions are also discussed.

  • This study is design ed to assess Information Technology (IT) acceptance models among Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the revised TAM using structural equation modeling. Research results show that the revised TAM with perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and IT usage variables is slightly outperformed TPB and TAM. From a managerial standpoint, the findings of this study reveal that in order to foster IT usage, it is important to encourage a positive perceived ease of use and usefulness.

  • To determine factors affecting scholarly web database service quality, this research is to investigate factors of web academic information service quality, and analyze how these factors influencing on web academic information service quality satisfactions. As a results, three dimensions were identified namely, information retrieval, ease of use and interaction. The scholarly web database service management has more critical problems than information service in these days. It indicates that the qualitative aspect is becoming more important than quantitative in web academic information service management.
