The orbit and frequency spectrum allocation for the communication and broadcasting satellite services are coordinated between the concerned parties according to the Radio Regulations of International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Currently, the geostationary orbit is filled with too many satellites for the commercial or military uses. In addition, a number of near earth satellite programs are being introduced. As each country claims for the space orbit and spectrum, the limited space resources are being exhausted. In this paper, the current situations in the worldwide satellite orbit demand are discussed, and some ideas on the peaceful, efficient and equitable use of space resources are proposed.

Generally, the accuracy of the prediction of flood elevation is difficult to identify due to the sedimentation on a river bed, earth and sand being moved by flow, and localized torrential downpours caused by climate change. It is also because of natural and artificial influences on rivers. To predict river floodings successfully, more precise and reliable flood elevation prediction system is needed, in which the concentration time of downstream is numerically interpreted through analyzing and utilizing the watermark of the upper region. Therefore, this research analyzed the prediction methods of the changes in water levels, which use the watermarks of the upper region. The watermarks which impacts the spot being predicted of flood was selected through floodgate analysis and correlation analysis. With the selected watermarks, a statistically reliable regression equation was yielded.

A human being has been using more and more materials for promotion of its life level year by year. The materials are originated from the Nature. We must think that a human being temporarily borrows them from the Nature. So we should return them in the same form as the origin into the Nature. However, it is impossible because it has been irreversibly changed into different phase. This attributes destruction of the Nature, i.e., pollution of the Nature. For environmental prevention of the Nature from pollution, we should try the entire recycling of materials by returning the used materials in the safe from even if it has a different phase in comparison with the original state. This article proposes the entire recycling of materials lot keeping the EARTH.

The purpose of this study was to review the origin and background of well-being, the emerging well-being culture, and the phenomenon and features of the hair beauty affected by it. For this purpose, the researcher reviewed dissertations written between 199a and 2002, copies of the beauty journal Short Hair published between 2002 and 2003, beauty newspapers published between March, 2003 and June, 2004, and relevant Internet sites. When we review the well-being hair style tendency, we may be reminded of a light shaggy cut style with a thick wave volume or a natural wave highlighted, or a natural style with a natural color rendered by the braid technique. The well-being hair styles may be inspired by such natural images as the earth, sand, rock, wind, feather and flowers, while using cut, permanent wave or coloring technique for the hairs, in order to create new hair styles. The goal is to make men in contact with the nature. Meanwhile, as people are more concerned about diverse hair textures, natural and healthy hairs, they want their hairs to look comfortable and active rather than luxurious. The well-being cut styles may be categorized into cut style highlighting healthy hairs with a Bobos luxury and soft and light stroke cut reminiscent of a Bohemian freedom. The well-being permanent style may be divided into thick wave, natural wave, and the permanent style using a strong wave to make hairs look bloated. The hair colors reminding us of some natural images are used to highlight a well-being image. In addition, the concept of well-being pursuing a happy and healthy life has been being introduced into the permanent wave material liquids; such liquids made from natural materials, fruits or herbs increase, while environmental-friendly liquids or materials are used more for healthy hairs. The reason why the well-being culture influences hair styles importantly may be that people's desire of healthy body and mind and a comfortable life is reflected in hair styles. In conclusion, as the hair styles or an index for a new cultural current in our modern age are influenced by the well-being phenomenon, more and more people will put priority on healthy hairs. So, it is deemed necessary to apply the well-being hair styles appropriately to render satisfactory hair styles.

Asian design has mastered the use of natural elements in the home to create a sense of harmony and balance. The viewpoint of the West recognizes the nature to be conquered while the viewpoint of the Orient recognizes it to be unison with a human being. Additionally, the viewpoint of the Orient reflects a harmonious relationship between the human being and the nature, and it does not see assuredly from an opposed viewpoint. The Five elements, one of oriental notion, are based on an affinity between the human being and the nature. The objectives of this study are to understand the Five elements composed of wood, fire, earth, metal, water and to suggest a substantial method for treating a harmonious and balanced environment in the collaboration of the interior materials by the Five elements. When the interior materials incorporate all the relationships of the Five elements, a space will accomplish harmony with the nature and the universe, thus it will be in tune with surrounding.

The invention and development of digital computer networks since the post-modern culture and creating new ideas, and in nearly all areas since the industrial revolution has had the greatest impact. A new paradigm for the 21st century, the Internet and ubiquitous, and mobile devices are being created by the new culture is being created. Rapidly being replaced by digital and analog, and 'Digilog' fusion concept has appeared. In addition, the development of computer cyberspace culture, art, design and structure are changing. In the field of furniture design, changing design processes and innovative design philosophy that change is now occurring. These symptoms experienced at the same time, almost every country on Earth is a phenomenon. Since the 20th century, computer network design based on the relationship between digital and cyber culture espoused by philosophers studied society and organic modernism and organic design of digital-based differences are confirmed through the case. Using digital technology, modeling case study of a furniture designer in cyber space and the creation of human capabilities and the fusion of computing power will be studied in modern furniture design.

It is being accelerated to develop environment-friendly vehicles to solve problems on the energy and environment of earth. The electric driving motor commonly installed in these vehicles has the excellent control capability such as fast response and accurate generation to torque control command. Especially, in-wheel motor has the additional merit such as independently driving each wheel in vehicle. Recently, being developed various control algorithm to enhance the safety and stability of vehicle motion using actively the merits of in-wheel motor. In addition to that, being issued the possibility of enhancing the ride comfort and attitude of vehicle motion such as pitching and rolling. In this paper, investigate the theoretical relationship between the braking/driving force and the motion of sprung mass of vehicle and propose the control method to enhance the ride comfort and attitude of vehicle motion. The proposed control method is proved through the simulation with vehicle model provided by TruckSim software which is commercial one and specializes in vehicle dynamics.

The tunnel excavations are used for construction of common utility tunnel, electric tunnel, communication line tunnel, water supply and public sewerage pile line in urban area. The trench cut methods were mainly used in the past, but now, tunneling method is more being used. The tunnel excavation method like as NATM, Messer-Shield, Semi-Shield Methods are being applied to small section tunnel in Korea. The actual construction results of seme-shield method are increasing due to simplified construction process and reduced noise and vibration. And also this method is being used frequently in waterway tunnel and construction of prevention flooding recently. The seme-shield method design guideline is absence except for electric line tunnel construction in Korea, because of the semi-shield method was developed in Europe and Japan. In the prescriptive design, engineer's subjects are tending to intervene, because of absence of standard and specification for details. Therefore, Design and Construction Problems of Semi-Shield Method were described and construction trouble was introduced for exam. These problem and construction troubles have to be examined thoroughly in advance.

This study investigated the depositional environment of the area of Anmyeondo in the mid-western coast of Korea. A total of 142 surface sediments were analyzed, and leveling survey was conducted as well in 12 transects at the sandy tidal flat in the area. The surface sediments are classified into several different types (slightly gravelly Sand, Sand, slightly gravelly sandy Mud, etc.) and they show fining-distribution toward the offshore. Textural parameters are characterized by being coarse, well sorted, positively skewed in the supratidal and intertidal flat, whereas being finer, poorly sorted, negatively skewed in the subtidal flat. According to the C-M diagram, the sediment transport modes are characterized by the mixed mode of bedload and graded suspension in supratidal and intertidal flat, and by graded suspension or uniform suspension in the subtidal flat. Histogram shows a bimodal distribution in the lower subtidal flat which is indicative of two sediment transport modes.

Atmospheric infrasound is defined as low frequency inaudible sound waves generated from natural phenomena and human activities. One property of long-distance travelling of infrasound makes it possible to detect the wave propagated from remote sound sources and to understand many geophysical phenomena generating it. Recently, advanced global infrasound sensor arrays are being deployed to monitor the clandestine nuclear test and to study geophysical phenomena in the world. In Korea, five seismo-acoustic arrays consisting of co-located seismometer and micro-barometer have been operated to discriminate the artificial explosions from the natural earthquakes in and around the Korean Peninsula. In addition to the discrimination purpose, these ways also record distinct infrasonic signals from natural phenomena on global scale such as large earthquake, bolide event, volcanic explosion, typhoon, and so on. As a new frontier in monitoring the earth, infrasound is being applied to understand various phenomena in and above the earth's surface.
