EUREKA는 EU와의 국제기술협력에서 상용기술분야에서 중요한 기술협력 정책 중 하나이다. EUREKA에 대한 연구는 몇몇 있지만, 국제기술협력 방안과 중소기업 간 또는 산업체와 연구소들에 대한 것으로서 연구주체 간의 협력방안 및 정책들에 한해 있다. 이러한 연구들은 수평관계 비즈니스에서의 국제기술협력 방안이다. 본 논문에서는 수직관계 비즈니스에서의 EUREKA를 활용한 국제기술협력요인을 찾는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 논문의 연구 결과는 수직관계 기업들이 EUREKA를 참여함으로써 보다 나은 협상력을 가질 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Eureka 747 DAB 시스템의 혼신보호비는 AM, FM, PAL, SECAM, DAB 등의 동일채널 및 인접채널 간섭원에 대한 조사가 수행되었으나, NTSC TV 간섭원에 대해서는 분석되지 않았다. Eureka 141 DAB 시스템 대부분이 TV 대역인 Band III에서 운용되는 상황을 고려한다면, NTSC TV 간섭원에 대한 혼신보호비 분석은 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 Eureka 147 DAB 시스템과 아날로그 NTSC TV 시스템간의 혼신보호비중 NTSC TV 간섭원에 대한 Eureka 147 DAB 시스템의 혼신보호비 측정을 위한 간섭환경 설정방법 및 DAB송수신기를 이용한 BER 측정방법, 그리고 측정결과를 제시한다.

This paper contemplates egalitarian ethics and ecumenical consumerism suggesting expansive possibilities of Northern Ireland's sectarian limits towards unlimited spatialities in Robert McLiam Wilson's Belfast novel, Eureka Street. This paper argues that Northern Ireland's (Belfast's) (post)modernity and a social ethics promoting outwardly mediated relationships are a vision for nonidentity Eureka Street espouses against the identity politics of Protestant-Catholic schism. Eureka Street remarkably challenges Northern Irish sectarian politics propelling inwardly unmediated relationships by ethical possibilities of infinitively mediated relationships. In the argument for a postmodern view of the novel, commodity fetishism and consumerism are considered as key to a prospect of emancipation of Northern Ireland from the political fetters of total identity the partisan communities impose on themselves. This paper also demonstrates that a post-national cosmopolitanism Eureka Street envisages embraces a new social solidarity predicated upon socio-political pluralisms against Northern Irish sectarian identities.

정부는 2008년에서 2012 과학기술 577전략을 발표하고 세계적인 과학 기술력을 가지기 위해 꾸준한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 하지만 공동연구 사업은 총 예산 중 전체 예산의 1.3% 만이 투입되었다. 특히 EU권과의 국제공동연구에 대한 성과는 정부의 노력에 비해 크지 않다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라 기업들이 국제 공동연구 참여전략 방안을 찾는데 연구의 목적을 둔다. 그 중에서 특히 EU권 EUREKA를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 본 논문은 6장으로 구성되어 있다. 제 2장에서는 우리나라 기업들의 국제 공동연구 참여현황을 살펴보았다. 이어서 제 3장은 국제공동연구에 대한 이론적 배경 그리고 제 4장에서는 연구방법 그리고 제 5장에서는 본 논문의 핵심인 EU의 EUREKA 공동연구 참여방안이 제시되었으며 제 6장에서는 결론 및 정책적 제안점을 도출하였다.

RF 혼신보호비는 동종 혹은 상이한 전송시스템간의 주파수 공유가 요구되는 상황에서 각 전송시스템의 운용 및 채널 배치에 반드시 필요한 정보로써, 이미 PAL, SECAM 방식의 아날로그 TV와 Eureka 147을 포함한 디지털방송과의 혼신에 대해서는 미국과 유럽, 일본에서 측정결과를 발표한 상태지만, NTSC방식과 Eureka 147 방식과의 혼신보호비에 대해서는 아직까지 측정이 이루어지지 않은 상태이다. 따라서 NTSC TV방식을 사용하고 있는 국가에서 Eureka 147 방식을 DAB 방송표준으로 도입하고자 할 때 혼신보호비를 필요로 할 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유럽의 디지털오디오방송(Digital Audio Broadcasting; DAB) 시스템인 Eureka 147방식에 대한 NTSC방식의 아날로그 TV 음성신호의 RF 혼신보호비 측정결과를 제시하고자 한다.

The AIRWARE System was developed from one of the EUREKA PROJECT E!3266-EUROENVIRON WEBAIR System. The AIRWARE can nowcast and forecast the air quality of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do regions. To nowcast and forecast concentration of pollutants, MM5, AERMOD/CAMx, and SMOKE Models were used for each meteorologic data, measured data, and emission data. All DB were constructed for 2001 year. The episode analysis and time series analysis were accomplished to analyze the AIRWARE reliability. The simulated results were very well agreed with measured result for measured pollutants and meteorological data. The developed AIRWARE system can analyze with real-time, support web-based air quality information. This information can used with policy data to manage the air quality and prepare reduction plan in air impact assessment or air environmental plan.

OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 전송방식은 SCM(Single Carrier Modulation)에 비해 우수한 여러 가지 장점들을 가지며, 방송시스템들 중 Eureka 147 DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) 시스템에 가장 먼저 채택되었다. 그러나 OFDM 신호의 높은 PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) 특성은 D/A, A/D 변환기의 복잡도를 높이고, 고출력 증폭기의 효율성을 감소시키는 원인이 된다. 이를 개선하기 위한 방법 중에, SDT(Signal Distortion Technique)는 전송시스템의 규격 및 수신기의 변경 없이도 적용 가능하다는 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 SDT에 속하는 companding 기법을 Eureka 147 DAB 시스템에 적용하여 PAPR 개선정도에 따른 시스템의 요구 $E_2/N_0$ 및 out-of-band의 PSD 열화 정도를 분석하였으며, 이를 clipping 기법의 성능과 비교하였다. 모의실험 결과, $\mu$값이 2인 경우, companding 기법이 PAPR, $E_2/N_0$, out-of-band의 PSD 특성 모두에서 clipping 기법에 비해 우수한 성능을 나타냈다. 또한 $\mu$ 값을 고정시킨 경우, 정규화 값이 증가할수록 신호왜곡 정도가 줄어들어 $E_2/N_0$, out-of-band의 PSD 성능개선 정도는 증가하지만, 이와는 반대로 PAPR 값은 개선 정도가 줄어들었다.

DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting)는 고품질의 오디오뿐만 아니라 멀티미디어 데이터 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 새로운 국제표준이다. 본 논문에서는 Eureka-147 DAB를 통해 멀티미디어 데이터를 효율적으로 전송하기 위한 방안으로 DAB의 다중화 구조와 MPEG-2와 MPEG-4 시스템 규격을 이용하여 미디어들 간의 동기화와 다중화 기능을 제공할 수 있는 전송프레임 구조를 제안하고, 실험을 통하여 각 프레임 구조에 대한 성능을 비교\ulcorner평가하였다. 특히 DAB의 다중화와 중복되는 MPEG 시스템의 기능을 제거하여 다중화프레임 구조의 효율성을 향상시키는 방안들을 제시하고, 이를 비교 분석하였다. 또한 구현한 시스템을 이용하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 다양한 환경의 채널을 통해 전송할 때 전송 오류의 영향을 측정하고 평가하였다.

This study describes the successful establishment of a cryopreservation protocol for Citrus limon cultivars: 'Frost Eureka limon' and 'Cook Eureka limon', using a droplet-vitrification method. The shoot tips that were excised from in vitro grown seedlings of the two cultivars were preserved in liquid nitrogen (LN) and successfully regenerated into whole plants. Excised shoot tips were pre-cultured for 1 or 2 days in 0.3 M and 0.5 M sucrose solutions at $25^{\circ}C$ and incubated in a loading solution (LS) composed of 17.5% glycerol + 17.5% sucrose in Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium for 40 min at $25^{\circ}C$. Prior to direct immersion in LN for 1 h, the shoot tips were dehydrated with plant vitrification solution 2 (PVS2) at $0^{\circ}C$ or PVS3 at $25^{\circ}C$. The frozen shoot tips were re-warmed and unloaded with 1.2 M sucrose in $\text\tiny{^1/_2}$ MS for 30 min at $25^{\circ}C$. Shoot tips were post-cultured overnight on survival medium and then micrografted onto 'trifoliate orange' (Poncirus trifoliate (L.) Raf. seedling rootstocks for recovery and to produce whole plants. The highest regrowth rates were 53.5% and 50.3% for cryopreserved shoot tips of 'Frost Eureka limon' and 'Cook Eureka limon', respectively, when pre-cultured in 0.3 M and 0.5 M sucrose concentrations in a sequencing manner, with LS and treated with PVS2 for 60 min at $0^{\circ}C$. We also investigated whether the ammonium ion concentration on post-culture medium affected the viability of the cryopreserved Citrus shoot tips. The viability of cooled samples, following culturing on woody plant media (WPM) containing $\text\tiny{^1/_4}$ ammonium nitrate overnight before micrografting, was the highest (70.3%) in 'Frost Eureka limon'. The study described here is a cost-effective and safe method to conserve Citrus fruit cultivars, for the improvement and large-scale multiplication of fruit plants and for breeding disease resistance.

OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)의 단점인 높은 PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio)을 개선하기 위한 방법 중에서 SDT(Signal Distortion Technique)는 전송시스템의 규격 및 수신기의 변경 없이도 적용 가능한 이점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 SDT에 속하는 clipping과 peak windowing 기법을 Eureka 147 DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) 시스템에 적용하여 얻은 BER 및 PSD 성능결과를 토대로 PAPR 개선 정도에 따른 시스템의 요구 $Es/N_0$ 및 out-of-band의 PSD 열화 정도를 분석하였다. Hamming windowing을 적용한 경우, PAPR 4㏈에서 clipping에 비해 요구 $Es/N_0$는 비슷한 열화정도가 나타났으나, out-of-band의 PSD는 5dB 정도 개선되는 성능을 보였다.
