The purpose of the study was to perform trend analysis of the exercise content i.e. element difficulty distribution scores, element group distribution scores obtained by the athletes during 2014 Korea Cup International Gymnastic finals. The conclusion drawn from the analysis are as follows: Firstly in terms of tournament technical difficulty value, Korean athletes showed characteristics of reliance on swing element rather than strength hold element which could actually secure higher difficulty scores. Secondly, skill acquisition of higher difficulty value is demanded by taking advantage of familiar characteristics from the swing element i.e. Jonasson and Roll bwd. Slowly with str. arms and body to swallow (2s.). Thirdly, development of sensory training and strengthening exercise program are essential to enhance strength hold technique.
Lightweight concrete is a superior material due to its light weight and high strength. There however remain significant lacunae in engineering knowledge with regards to shear failure of lightweight fiber reinforced concrete beams. The main aim of the present study is to investigate the optimum usage of steel fibers in lightweight fiber reinforced concrete (LWFRC). Multi-scale finite element model calibrated with experimental results is developed to study the effect of steel fibers on the mechanical properties of LWFRC beams. To decrease the amount of steel fibers, it is preferred to reinforce only the middle section of the LWFRC beams, where the flexural stresses are higher. For numerical simulation, a multi-scale finite element model was developed. The cement matrix was modeled as homogeneous and uniform material and both steel fibers and lightweight coarse aggregates were randomly distributed within the matrix. Considering more realistic assumptions, the bonding between fibers and cement matrix was considered with the Cohesive Zone Model (CZM) and its parameters were determined using the model update method. Furthermore, conformity of Load-Crack Mouth Opening Displacement (CMOD) curves obtained from numerical modeling and experimental test results of notched beams under center-point loading tests were investigated. Validating the finite element model results with experimental tests, the effects of fibers' volume fraction, and the length of the reinforced middle section, on flexural and residual strengths of LWFRC, were studied. Results indicate that using steel fibers in a specified length of the concrete beam with high flexural stresses, and considerable savings can be achieved in using steel fibers. Reducing the length of the reinforced middle section from 50 to 30 cm in specimens containing 10 kg/m3 of steel fibers, resulting in a considerable decrease of the used steel fibers by four times, whereas only a 7% reduction in bearing capacity was observed. Therefore, determining an appropriate length of the reinforced middle section is an essential parameter in reducing fibers, usage leading to more affordable construction costs.
Waveguides are transmission lines that guide electromagnetic waves in the desired direction and are utilized in various fields such as medical devices, radar systems, and satellite communications. Computational electromagnetics (CEM) is essential for designing and optimizing waveguides. The finite element method (FEM), which is one of the numerical analysis techniques, is efficient in solving closed problems such as waveguides. In order to apply FEM for waveguide analysis, boundary conditions that truncate the computational domain are required. This paper performs electromagnetic simulations using absorbing boundary conditions (ABC) and waveguide port boundary conditions (WPBC) in 2/D and 3/D waveguides using the finite element method and compared their performances. The accuracy of the analysis was verified by comparing the results with HFSS, a representative commercial electromagnetic simulation software. Simulation results confirm that applying WPBC allows for smaller analysis domains than ABC.
It requires great efforts to satisfy all functional characteristics of the rehabilitating treatments space for the specialized clinic for the elderly as the rehabilitating scope for treatment of the clinic has become more specialized and sectionalized. The specialization of the clinic for the elderly is saliently different in terms of rehabilitation treatment. The changed concept of rehabilitation for the elderly means that it places great importance in helping the elderly in their day-to-day life through a short-term or outpatient treatment, not a long term stay at hospital for retreat. The rehabilitation space in the clinic is essential in that it provided environment for efficient space placement in varied location. Thus, this study has been researched on 6 clinics for the elderly. It is because the space will have a variety of functions, which will be for the sake of the effective rehabilitation treatment of those aged patients who use that medical facilities, and not only for the physical therapy. It could have been designed to accommodate and realize not only the physical well-being, but also psychological, social and spiritual integrity for a variety of treatments, with which as the basis, this study theorizes the characteristics of the essential elements and the specialization factors by extracting spatial element through theoretical investigation. In conclusion the study here proposes the planned guideline for the rehabilitation treatment space to be designed inside the specialized clinic for the elderly, with renewed awareness of the importance on the spatial element in a recently established clinic.

Walter Van Beirendonck expresses a fairy tale world of perverted sexual desire of sadism and masochism, violence, and aggressiveness that breaks from a transient one-time concept as is an essential element of fashion. This study classifies the aesthetic characteristic shown on the design of Walter Van Beirendonck and analyzes the intent of his symbolism and meaning. The attempt has a meaning in exploring a new directionality of fashion by conveying a critical message to this end, contemporary fashion breaks down boundaries with artistic genre and connects a problematic consciousness that exists in life with fashion. The results of study on the aesthetic characteristics of Walter Van Beirendonck are as follows. First, Beirendonck emphasized an interpersonal image about body by giving a question through the deconstruction of image on a perfect body into race, age, and body based on body modification. Second, fetishism appeared as a consciousness that human identity and character can be changed by connecting a fetish element of sexual identity, and sadism and masochism with fashion's imagination. Third, infantilism as an amusement expression of the form metaphorically satirized life of modern people. Fourth, makeup shown on performance or festival of an African tribe was used in the way of mixture or reuse for ethnography to obtain inspiration from ethnography. Fifth, pop art combined a popular culture code as amusement through mass production and mass media. Aesthetics of Beirendonck do not have norm and are bold in using form, color, pattern, print, and styling because Beirendonck reinterpreted critical attitudes about essential problems that human life entails into a motif of his symbolic meaning in amusement. In regards to his design aesthetics, Beirendonck expanded fashion to the scope of Gesamtkunstwerk in a consistent and continued theme combined with philosophical creativity and differentiated from other fashion designers.
In 1957, Schwarz and Foltz discovered that selenium (Se) was an essential trace mineral and nutritionists then started extensive studies to figure out the metabolic function of this element which has been called as toxic mineral. The discovery that glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) contained Se demonstrated a biochemical role for Se as an essential trace element. The major physiological function of Se containing GSH-Px is thought to maintain low levels of $H_2O_2$ and other hydroperoxides in the cell to prevent tissues from peroxidation damages. It is known that the GSH-Px activity is increased when animals were fed high dietary levels of Se. Chemical properties of Se have much in common with sulfur (S) therefore Se would follow the sulfur pathways in its metabolism in animal body. Two sources of Se are available for supplementation of Se in animal feed. Inorganic Se can also exist in selenide (-2), elemental (0), selenite (+4) and selenate (+6) oxidation state with other minerals. When sulfur in S containing amino acids is replaced by Se, organic Se can be made and named "eleno"prior to the name of S containing amino acid, i.e. selenomethionine. Selenium deficiency affects humans as well as animals and dysfunctions such as exudative diathesis, retained placenta, mastitis, liver necrosis, Keshan disease, numerous diseases and cancer. From several centuries ago, Se toxicity was recognized in various animal species and much of the current toxic Se levels has been established largely based upon the controlled toxicity studies used inorganic Se. Toxic effects of Se in animal result in reduced feed intake, growth retardation, ataxia, diarrhea, alopecia and sloughing of hooves. However, several experiments demonstrated that Se deficiencies or toxicities were varied by dietary Se levels and sources. Recent studies demonstrated that the incidence of colorectal and prostate cancer was reduced by approximately 50% when humans consumed 200 ${\mu}g$ of Se daily.

The purpose of this study was to develop Graphic Organizer as Advance Organizer. The 'Menu Planning and Food Selection' unit of second grade middle school Technology & Home Economics(revised curriculum of 2007) was selected as the study subject. The course of abstracting an essential education element got done $3^{rd}$ times. It abstracted the first essential education elements to analyze the presented sentence or a concept with the educational contents factor which is on the achievement standard of the area of dietary life from 5grade to 10grade in curriculum revised in 2007. The first 4 essential education elements selected were superiority and cultural value of Korean traditional meal, preparing a balanced diet for the family, food purchasing, and food selection based on the various information'. It abstracted second essential education elements that it concretized the first content factor on a unit of this study and solved overlapping when it was happened at the first contents factor and made connecting with between grade. The $3^{rd}$ essential education elements abstracted to classify the contents which abstracted essential education elements in second. And, it developed Graphic Organizer on a unit of 'Menu Planning and Food Selection' in eight-grade Technology & Home Economics based on the abstracted essential education elements. Graphic Organizer was developed in according to order of the way for making on a Concept Map of Heo In Sook(2000). Developed Graphic Organizer is all of 10 which are 'nutrition value on food of the season', 'harmony and combination of food', 'natural dressing and a garnish', 'the recipe', 'fermented food', 'a traditional instrument and a vessel', 'actor of food harm', 'present food', 'food quality certification' and 'selecting food with food information'.

The purpose of this study was to search for the effective design process model f3r mass customized clothing. Therefore, this study was to propose two models of mass customized fashion design processes which were different in the customized degree and to compare their efficiencies and appropriateness with those of the existing fashion design process. The data was obtained from a survey of 150 females in their twenties and thirties living in Seoul and Gyeonggi during April in 2003. It was analysed by frequency, $X^2-test$, crosstabulation, correlation, t-test and multiple-regression. The results of survey were: Many respondents$(62.0\%)$ preferred mass customized products and mass customized design process model which suggested more choices to presumers. The mass customized design process was considered to be applicable to the present domestic clothing market. In the case of the whole respondents, color was a very important design element in mass customized design process model; because of this, the opportunity to choose colors will be essential in mass customized design process. In the case of respondents who have higher preference on mass customized products, textile(texture) was a very important design element. In the cases of both(whole respondents and respondents who have higher preference on mass customized products), style was the most important design element in fashion design process. To summarize, it proposed that to accept the mass customized clothing will be possible in this study. What is more, the guidelines to develope mass customized fashion design process model were suggested in this study.

Shape design optimization for linear elasticity problem is performed using isogeometric analysis method. In many design optimization problems for real engineering models, initial raw data usually comes from CAD modeler. Then designer should convert this CAD data into finite element mesh data because conventional design optimization tools are generally based on finite element analysis. During this conversion there is some numerical error due to a geometry approximation, which causes accuracy problems in not only response analysis but also design sensitivity analysis. As a remedy of this phenomenon, the isogeometric analysis method is one of the promising approaches of shape design optimization. The main idea of isogeometric analysis is that the basis functions used in analysis is exactly same as ones which represent the geometry, and this geometrically exact model can be used shape sensitivity analysis and design optimization as well. In shape design sensitivity point of view, precise shape sensitivity is very essential for gradient-based optimization. In conventional finite element based optimization, higher order information such as normal vector and curvature term is inaccurate or even missing due to the use of linear interpolation functions. On the other hands, B-spline basis functions have sufficient continuity and their derivatives are smooth enough. Therefore normal vector and curvature terms can be exactly evaluated, which eventually yields precise optimal shapes. In this article, isogeometric analysis method is utilized for the shape design optimization. By virtue of B-spline basis function, an exact geometry can be handled without finite element meshes. Moreover, initial CAD data are used throughout the optimization process, including response analysis, shape sensitivity analysis, design parameterization and shape optimization, without subsequent communication with CAD description.

In china, recent work showed some positive correlation between trace element and traditional chinese medicine (TCM) in terms of therapeutic effects even if their role in therapeutic effects is still obscure. In korea, not much attention has been on the therapeutic importance of trace element contained in herbal medicine Here, the therapeutic effects of trace element in TCM were reviewed and summarized. 1. Iron, copper, zinc and manganese are mainly contained in TCM. In addtion, chromium, magnesium, molybdenum, nickel, alminium, cobalt, arsenic and selenium has been studied for their therapeutic effects 2. Zinc, is decreased in patients who have deficiency of kindney(腎虛) and chronic disease. Fe is decreased in patients who have deficiency of blood(血虛). However copper is increased in patients who have chronic disease and hepatic disease.3 Iron concentration is high in herbs used for tonifying and nourishing yin or blood(補陰補血藥) Zinc concentration is high also in herb used for tonifying kidiney and vital essence(補腎補精藥). In addition. copper concentration Is high in herb used for replenishing qi(補氣藥) 4 In herbal drugs, the therapeutic substances in TCM are not only organic but also inorganic. It seems that trace elements would be one of components in herb for its therapeutic effects. This indicates that therapeutic effects of TCM should be extended not only to herb itself, bur also to trace elements contained in herb.
