This study aimed to examine emo fashion, a very recent music-related fashion trend spreading fast amongst youths, and understand emo ideas and methods of expression for a greater understanding of contemporary youth sub-cultures and fashion trends. Documentary research, positive research and in-depth interviews were used throughout the study. 4 Korean emo bands and 4 U.S. emo bands were selected based on music chart rankings, and a total of 37 photographs from the bands' Internet websites were selected, and their clothes shown in the photographs were examined. 5 Korean emo band musicians were subjects of in-depth interviews, and they were asked about their emo culture, music, fashion, ideas and styles, and photographs were taken of the subjects and evaluated, too. Lastly, Korean and U.S. emo kids were studied through photographs, and comparatively analyzed. Both Korean and U.S. emo musicians wore slim silhouettes, skinny jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, black, studded belts and plastic-framed glasses. Korean fashion expressed a less depressive atmosphere with color and other details compared to the United States, and did not prefer dark black eye make-up, which United States emo style appeared to express frequently. Korean musicians' emo fashion was closer to other youth fashions, whereas U.S. emo fashion included more formal styles such as ruffled shirts and pin-striped vests. Korean emo kids wore clothes not much different from most Korean youths, but U.S. emo kids wore a lot of eye make-up and black t-shirts with graphic or skull prints, and had more geometrical hair styles, as if cut at home. The reasons for such differences were found to be a longer emo music and culture history in the United States leading to more elaborate fashion expressions and a difference in the states of mind, such as Korea pursuing to express love, and the United States pursuing loneliness.

In this study, we have attempted to characterize the effects of encapsulated mustard oil with regard to the extension of the shelf life of kimchi. The quantity of mustard oil or encapsulated mustard oil added to the brined cabbage in this study was 0.05%(w/w). Overall, the fermentation processes in the encapsulated mustard oil-added kimchi (EMO) and mustard oil-added kimchi (MO) occurred at a slower rate than in the controls. The periods during which the MO and EMO kimchi samples were edible were prolonged for more than two weeks, according to measurements of pH, total acidity, and microbial changes. The overall acceptability of EMO was superior to MO throughout the entirety of the fermentation period. Sensory evaluation verified that EMO yielded a more favorable product than the MO and control varieties. Encapsulated mustard oil can be employed as a natural food additive to prolong the shelf life of kimchi, via an induced delay of the fermentation process.

This study covers centrality of villas after Renaissance and architectural forms corresponding to the nature in the aspect of Karl Popper and Gilles Deleuze. In addition, the researcher tries to understand the changes in architectural forms according to the changes in places. To do that, Pascal and Hans Meyer's theory was introduced as a major theory. The researcher tries to set up the standard by analyzing the architectural form related with the nature and the form of center in the housing through Villa Rotonda and Villa Emo. And with key analysis of the centrality and architectural form corresponding to the nature and the four houses that are historically and morphologically important. It is found that due to the development in modern technology and materials, a variety of architectural approach is developed and they are implemented as various architectural forms. However, due to various theories of modern architectural approach, it is found that the morphological differences of suburban housing exists by forming a universal relationship constructed by four architects. The researcher expects to be understood and realized in real life construction.
작년(1977년) 9월 20일부터 29일까지 10일간 서독 Hannover 에서 세계 28개국이 최신, 정예 각종 공작기게를 출품 전시한 제2회 구라파 국제 공작기계전시회 [2. EMO (Exposition Europeennne de Ia Machine-Outil a participation mondiale, European Machine Tool Exhibition with worldwide participation)]이 대성황리에 열려었다.

Multi-objective optimization problems (MOPs) arise in many real-world applications. MOPs involve two or more objectives with the aim to be optimized. With these problems improvement of one objective may led to deterioration of another. The primary goal of most multi-objective evolutionary algorithms (MOEA) is to generate a set of solutions for approximating the whole or part of the Pareto optimal front, which could provide decision makers a good insight to the problem. Over the last decades or so, several different and remarkable multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, have been developed with successful applications. However, MOEAs are still in their infancy. The objective of this research is to study how to use and apply machine learning (ML) to improve evolutionary multi-objective optimization (EMO). The EMO method is the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D). The MOEA/D has become one of the most widely used algorithmic frameworks in the area of multi-objective evolutionary computation and won has won an international algorithm contest.
Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the eating behavior (EB) and nutritional status of university students in Gwangju, and to compare their nutrition quotients (NQs) and problems according to their EB types. Methods: The subjects were 219 (127 female and 92 male) undergraduate students from Gwangju. The Student's t-test was used to compare the EB levels according to gender, and Pearson's χ2 test was used to compare the distribution of EB types by gender. A gender-adjusted analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was conducted to examine the difference in NQs by EB types. Results: First, there were significant differences in the EB scores and the distribution of EB types according to gender. Female students showed higher levels of emotional (Emo) and external (Ext) EBs than the male students, and Emo, Ext, and combined (Com) EB types were more evident among female rather than male students. Second, there was a difference in NQs according to the EB types. The Emo EB type subjects had a lower NQ than those of the restrained (Res) EB type and showed significant differences in diversity and dietary behavior. Specifically, the Emo EB type subjects displayed significantly lower efforts to maintain a healthy diet and subjective health status than the Com EB type and their levels of checking nutrition labels, hand washing, and water intake were significantly lower than that of the Res EB type. The Ext EB type showed significantly lower moderation of Ramyeon and sweetened drink intake than the Res and Com EB types. Conclusion: The level of EBs and the distribution of EB types varied according to gender, and the NQs were different according to EB types. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment of customized strategies for improvement by identifying major nutritional problems by gender and the EB types of university students.
This study was carried out to investigate the ultrastructural changes of ooplasm and follicular membrane of oocytes, obtained from 150 of 3-year-old female rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss). All data were collected from March in 1989 to February in 1990, and from August to October in 1991. The size of the nucleoli and number of the yolk granules increased as the oocyte growed. Yolk granules were deposited in the oocyte as crystalline granules. Due to the presence of large early and late maturing oocytes, their ovaires were enlarged, transparent and granular. The lattice was broken down at hydration, leaving the egg transparent. As thepercentages of fish in LPO and EMO stage increased from September to October, Mean GSI values increased. Follicle cells such as granulosa cell and thecal cell change a squamous into cuboid shape in LPO and EMO stage. Seasonal changes in the microscopic appearance of the ovaries were well correlated with those in bothgonadosomatic index and macroscopic apearance. Under the natural conditions,t he ovarian follicle influences the histological development and periodical secretion of the hormones, sufficient for a oogenesis and gonadal steroid production. The electrophoretic pattern of major band in mature stage was much thicker(70∼110k dalton) than that in previtellogenic phase.
