  • 고속/고전압으로 동작하는 자동차 전장품에 대한 EMI/EMC(Electromagnetic Interfere / Electromagnetic Compatibility) 문제는 기존의 PCB(Printed Circuit Board)에서의 문제와 다르며 하이브리드/전기 자동차에서 중요하게 다뤄지는 배터리에 대한 최적화 된 모델링 방법이 본 논문에 소개 되어있다. 기존의 단순한 저항과 커패시터의 연결로 표현 된 모델링이 아닌 고주파를 반영 할 수 있는 모델링 방법을 사용하였다. 이를 분석하기 위해 ANSYS사의 Simplorer와 Matlab을 사용해서 결과를 보았다. 본 논문에서는 DOD(Depth Of Discharge)에 따른 통합 등가회로 모델을 구현하면서 기존의 단순한 지수함수 곡선적합(Curve fitting)이 아닌 SOC(State Of Charge)의 경계조건을 반영하여 정확성을 높였다. 이로써 실험 데이터를 이용해 배터리 등가회로 모델링을 하여 정확한 배터리 동작의 해석을 할 수 있고 이에 따른 전도성 방사(CE : Conducted Emission)문제에 보다 쉽게 접근 할 수 있다.

  • Electricity meters using in Korea are about 1.8 million units. From among these, electronic meters for high voltage, about 170 thousand units were installed to the digital type meter and ones for low voltage installed hundreds of thou-sands of meters through a model project. Recently, low voltage meter are expected to complete the installation within several years. Domestic power metering technology is being beyond a simple framework with an electronic type and is rapidly evolving to intelligent smart metering systems in conjunction with promotion of a national smart grid project. Accordingly, it is important to ensure an immunity of meter for electromagnetic field and environmental noise at the installation site. In this paper, we are going to check the validity of international standard that focusing on RF electromagnetic field immunity of meter to secure the quality and improve the reliability in field operation of meter. And we will verify the validity of test specification focused on actual installation environment and are going to offer the improvement plan of test standard.

  • Recently, the influence of electromagnetic environment for low frequency range on human body has been being argued. Light Rail Transit (LRT) System is an urban transit system which has approximately an intermediate transportation capacity between conventional subway and bus. The LRT systems have been applied and being operated in about a hundred lines around the world and many projects that apply the LRT systems in Korea are being proceeded and scheduled. LRT system is operated under the electrical circumstance of high voltage and large current and passengers are exposed in those electrical circumstance. In this paper, EMI/EMC for low frequency range of K-AGT system is measured and analyzed comparing with the international standard.

Advanced Field Weakening Control for Maximum Output Power Operation of Induction Motor in a Limited Environment

  • A load motor used for warship or submarine is with limited volume and weight, also specific environmental tests like impact, vibration, noise, temperature and EMC/EMI have to be satisfied. Induction motors, synchronous motors, BLDC motor and etc, are used depending on the purpose of using military equipment. Induction Motors are used for a number of military equipment more commonly due to the robust structure and simple maintenance. Domestic and foreign warships have a wide range of voltages as the DC voltage sources with battery are mainly used for them. The ${\Delta}-connection$ operation of the induction motor is required to make the maximum power in a low voltage level. But the elements' temperature of the inverter increases due to high input current when it is in the ${\Delta}-connection$ operation. Therefore, the induction motor must be driven with the Y-connection. The lack of voltage needs to be with the field weakening control. This paper suggests the optimum field weakening control algorithm to drive the induction motor with maximum power in a limited thermal and DC voltage condition.

  • The coupling effect of electric fields incident on the biological object is investigated in regards to dosimetry for a wireless power transfer(WPT) system using electromagnetic resonance phenomenon. The internal electric fields induced a biological sphere model exposed to a magnetic dipole are calculated with the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method considering both incident electric and magnetic fields, the impedance method considering only incident magnetic fields, and theoretical analysis. The results represent that the electric coupling effect on a biological object nearby the WPT system should be considered to conduct exact dosimetry.

  • 우리의 일상 생활에 있어 가정용 전기기기는 우리 삶의 일부분이라고 말할 수 있을 정도로 그 존재 가치가 절대적이다. 최근 반도체 기술의 발달은 이러한 기기의 제어를 기계적인 방법에서 digital 방식의 전자자적인 방법으로 바꾸어 놓고 있다. 이러한 전자적인 제어장치를 갖는 기기로 의 발전은 사용상의 편리함을 갖고 있는 반면 EMC(Electromagnetic Compactibility)부분에 취약한 단점을 가지고 있다. 특히 가정용 전기기기는 물론이고 전동공구류 또한 일반 가정에서 쉽게 사용 될 수 있는 기기이므로 전자파장해에 대한 문제는 기기의 오동작 문제를 떠나 사용자 신체의 손상 등 위해를 가할수 있는 가능성을 항상 갖고 있다. 가정용 전기기기 및 전동 공구류에 대한 EMC문 제는 장착된 Micro-Processor 구동을 위한 clock 신호, 모터 등 회전기 부분에서 발생하는 불연속 적인 전자파 noise, 전원선에서 발생하는 전도성 noise와 방사성 noise가 그 원인이 되고 있으며 이러한 전자파 noise는 주변에서 동작하고 있는 다른 기기의 동작을 방해하고 또한 주변에서 동작 하고 있는 다른 기기로부터의 전자파 noise에 의해 자신이 영향을 받아 불필요한 오동작을 유발하 기도 한다. 여기에서는 EMI 부분의 경우 금번 고시 내용과 기존의 전기용품 안전관리법의 내용을 비교하였 으며, EMS 부분은 가정용 전기기기 뿐만아니라 고시된 해당 제품 모두를 비교하여 관련 제조업체 및 관계자에게 도움이 되도록 하였다.

  • This paper proposes an analysis method of performance degradation of antenna due to radio frequency interference between an antenna and adjacent noise sources using active scattering parameters. The radio frequency interference can be analyzed by the measured or simulated scattering parameters and by excited noise sources in the circuit as well. In this paper, a planar inverted-F antenna and a noise source are designed and fabricated to analyze radio frequency interference between the planar inverted-F antenna and noise source. The proposed analysis method uses active scattering parameters, of which verification is experimentally verified, and in simulation as well.

  • High-speed train of push-pull type called as G7 train has been developed and chosen as the model of KTX-II which will be operated on Honam Line nexr year. However, the EMU-type high-speed train appeared to be the recent trend that foreign markets have shown. Also, in the near future, a great number of new train sets are needed to accommodate the increased passengers in our country. Thus, development of the high-speed EMU was decided, planned, and started. In the development, included were almost all fundamental key technologies such as noise and vibration reduction in a passenger cabin, running characteristics, aerodynamic analysis, crashworthiness evaluation, EMI/EMC analysis, design of the cooling system for the propulsion control system, enhanced performance of transformer and switching converters, synchronous traction motor with permanent magnets, new design of front nose and ergonomic interiors, application of advanced information technology(IT) and smart sensors and the cost reduction of construction of railway bridges, etc. Each key technologies are carried out as sub-project independently but under the supervision of a project. The project will develop the high advanced level of technologies and provide necessary know-why's and support the team in charge of the development of the high-speed EMU, Hyundai Rotem Co. Ltd. The high-speed EMU will be successfully developed with the support of the project.

  • 본 논문은 유도전동기의 운전조작시에 발생되는 자계변화특성에 대하여 기술하였다. 본 측정시스템은 자기적분형 자계센서, 증폭기, 능동형 적분기로 이루어졌으며, 교정실험에 대한 측정계의 주파수대역과 감도는 각각 20[Hz]∼0.234[mV/μT]이다. 유도전동기의 기동과 정상운전중에 발생하는 자계성분을 측정하였으며, 고조파 성분을 고속 푸리에 변환기법으로 분석하였다. 유도전동기의 직입기동시에는 단일성 펄스자계가 강하게 발생하였으며, 이의 피크치는 정상상태의 값보다 5배이상 크게 나타났다. 이러한 긴 과도시간과 강한 자계의 세기는 전동기의 큰 인덕턴스와 동특성에 기인된다. 유도전동기의 정상운전시에는 유도전동기의 극수에 의존하는 기본파에 대한 분조파의 자계성분이 관측되었다. 또한, 자계의 분조파 성분은 전동기의 토크 변동으로 불균일한 회전토크로 인해 생기는 맥동전류와 전압플리커에 의해서 발생하는 것으로 생각된다. 인버터구동형 유도전동기에서는 직입기동에 비하여 많은 고조파 성분이 발생되고 있었으며, 특히 전동기의 구동주파수가 낮을수록 맥동토크에 의한 전류변화로 고조파 성분은 더욱 증가하였다.

A Study on the Countermeasure Algorithm for Power System Disturbances in Large Scale Fuel Cell Generation System (대용량 연료전지시스템의 계통외란 방지알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, fuel cell generation system with high energy efficiency and low CO2 emission is energetically interconnected with distribution power system. Especially, MCFC(molten carbonate fuel cell) operating at high temperature conditions is commercialized and installed as a form of large scale power generation system. However, it is reported that power system disturbances such as harmonic distortion, surge phenomenon, unbalance current, EMI(Electromagnetic Interference), EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and so on, have caused several problems including malfunction of protection device and damage of control devices in the large scale FCGS(Fuel Cell Generation System). Under these circumstances, this paper proposes countermeasure algorithms to prevent power system disturbances based on the modelling of PSCAD/EMTDC and P-SIM software. From the simulation results, it is confirmed that proposed algorithms are useful method for the stable operation of a large scale FCGS.
