The purpose of this study was to establish and provide guidelines for the standardized acquisition and interpretation of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DW-MRI) to improve the image quality and reduce the variability of the results interpretation. The standardized protocol includes the use of high-resolution DW-MRI with advanced techniques and post-processing. The aim of the protocol is to increase the effectiveness of the medical image information exchange involved in the construction, activation, and exchange of clinical information for healthcare use. An organized interpretation form could make DW-MRIs' interpretation easier and more familiar. Herein, the authors briefly review the basic principles, optimized image acquisition, standardized interpretation guidelines, false negative and false positive cases of DW-MRI, and provide a standard interpretation form and examples of various cases to help users become more familiar with the DW-MRI.

During the past decade, researchers have investigated the use of computer-aided mammography interpretation. With the application of deep learning technology, artificial intelligence (AI)-based algorithms for mammography have shown promising results in the quantitative assessment of parenchymal density, detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, and prediction of breast cancer risk, enabling more precise patient management. AI-based algorithms may also enhance the efficiency of the interpretation workflow by reducing both the workload and interpretation time. However, more in-depth investigation is required to conclusively prove the effectiveness of AI-based algorithms. This review article discusses how AI algorithms can be applied to mammography interpretation as well as the current challenges in its implementation in real-world practice.

본 연구는 궁 방문객을 대상으로 해설매체에 따른 해설효과의 차이를 알아보고자 문화해설사 동반 여부에 따른 해설속성, 문화해설 서비스 만족도, 문화유산에 대한 인지 및 태도의 차이를 알아보았다. 또한 해설 매체에 따른 해설속성과 만족도, 해설속성과 문화유산 인지 및 태도의 관계를 검증하였다. 이를 통해 방문객의 만족도를 높이고 문화유산에 대한 인식 및 태도를 제고시킬 수 있는 적절한 문화해설 방법을 제시하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 실증분석 결과, 첫째, 해설매체에 따라 방문객들이 느끼는 해설속성, 문화해설 서비스 만족도, 문화유산 인지 및 태도에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 해설속성과 만족도의 관계를 파악하여 차이여부를 알아본 결과, 해설매체에 따라 문화해설 서비스 만족도와 문화유산 인지 및 태도에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 해설 속성이 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 해설속성과 문화유산 인지 및 태도의 관계를 파악하여 차이여부를 알아본 결과, 해설매체에 따라 문화유산 인지 및 태도 모두에 대해 영향을 미치는 요인은 비슷하였으나 속성별 영향력에서는 다소 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 한 가장 중요하고 흥미로운 시사점은 '흥미성'과 '효과성'을 통해 방문객을 만족시키고 문화유산에 대한 이해를 도울 수는 있으나 문화유산 보존 및 가치에 대한 인식 등의 문화유산에 대한 태도에 영향을 주기 위해서는 '교육성' 또한 중요한 요인으로 밝혀진 것이라 할 수 있다. 이 외에도 효과적인 문화해설 서비스에 대한 다양한 시사점을 제시하였다.

The concept of Shariah-based internal audit has received increasing attention from researchers in recent times especially since Islamic financial institutions have been developing in several Asian countries like Bangladesh. To avoid financial irregularities and to maintain Shariah-based financial transactions, an effective Shariah-based internal audit system is extremely important for Islamic financial institutions such as Islamic banks. Hence, the objective of this study is to determine the factors that influence the effectiveness of the Shariah-based audit system. Study data has been gathered from Shariah auditors, members of the Shariah board and audit committee of six private Islamic banks in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A total of 210 survey questionnaires were sent and finally 136 responses were retained, indicating a final sample size of n=136, with a survey feedback rate of 65%. The study adopted a quantitative measure and collected only primary data, followed by convenience sampling. SPSS has been used to run necessary statistical interpretation. Results reveal that auditor's work autonomy, level of competency, and work performance significantly impact the Shariah-based internal audit effectiveness. The study findings can be adopted as guidelines to improve the overall effectiveness of the Shariah-based internal audit system in Islamic financial institutions.

This paper presents fault recognition and interpretation in power transformers using dissolved gas analysis embedded Kohonen feature mapping. The imprecision of gas ratio analysis in dissolved gas analysis are managed by mapping in accordance with learning of Kohonen neural network. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed system, it has been tested by the historical gas records to power transformers of Korea Electric Power Corporation. More appropriate fault types can support the maintenance personnels to increase the disgnostic performance for fault of power transformers.

With the advent of multidetector-row CT, lung cancer imaging is much more promising than before. However, the effectiveness of multidetector-row CT in making an initial diagnosis, staging, and evaluating post-treatment changes of lung cancer still remains to be proved. Fast imaging along with volumetric data set and attendant multi-planar imaging provide much more details on the anatomic changes and pathology associated with lung cancer. However, with images showing anatomic and pathologic changes only, radiologists confront with several questions the answers of which may help evaluate lung cancer more thoroughly. The frequent questions that I have in dally practice of chest CT interpretation are as follows.

문화 자연유산 분야에서 3차원 스캐닝 기술은 아직 기록과 보존, 모니터링의 도구로 활용 폭이 제한되어 있으며, 전문가들에 의해 직접 활용되지 못하고 있다. 스캔 데이터의 정밀한 기하 정보는 효과적인 가시화를 통해 전문가들의 과학적 해석을 가능하게 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 스캔 모델로부터 필요한 기하 특성을 가시화하는 렌더링 기법들을 분석하고, 스캔 데이터의 가시화 파이프라인과 렌더링 기법 및 이의 분류 체계를 제시하였다. 또한 사례연구로서, 공룡발자국 분야의 기존 연구 방법을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 이에 따라 스캔 모델을 가시화하여 전문가를 대상으로 테스트를 수행하였으며 이를 통해 효과성을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 3차원 스캔 데이터를 이용하여 문화 및 자연유산을 효과적으로 해석할 수 있는 실용적 방안을 제시하였음에 의의가 있다.

해설판은 자기안내식 해설에서 흔히 이용되는 정보전달 매체로서 해설효과의 극대화를 위해서는 해설판과 이를 이용하는 탐방객에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구는 중요도-성취도 분석(Importance-Performance Analysis: IPA)을 이용하여 탐방객의 인구사회학적 특성과 방문행태에 따른 자기안내식 해설판의 주요 디자인 속성에 대한 현 관리상태의 평가를 통하여 보다 효과적인 해설판 관리를 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위해 시행되었다. 자료수집은 2003년 8-9월중 내장산 국립공원 내 자연관찰로 탐방객을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통하여 이루어 졌으며, 총 276명의 응답이 본 연구의 분석에 이용되었다. 선정된 30개 속성에 대한 IPA 결과, 여성(23.3%)이 남성(13.3%)보다, 저연령층(43.3%)이 고연령층(0.0%)보다, 고학력 그룹(36.7%)이 저학력 그룹(0.0%)보다, 중그룹(33.3%)이 대그룹(10.0%)이나 소그룹(16.7%)보다, 아동동반 그룹(66.7%)이 아동부동반 그룹(20.0%)보다 더 많은 해설판 디자인 속성에 대하여 높은 중요도와 낮은 성취도를 보여 높은 '우선시정 필요(Concentrate Here: CH)' 항목율을 나타내는 것으로 조사되었다. 특히 아동동반 그룹은 가장 높은 '우선시정 필요(CH)' 항목율을 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과는 다양한 탐방객을 고려한 해설판 다자인의 필요성을 시사하고 있다. 또한, 표준화된 해설판 디자인 항목의 개발을 통해서 자연관찰로의 해설판에 대한 IPA 및 여타 평가수행의 신뢰성과 효율성을 기대할수 있을 것이다.

New method has been widely used for teaching Management Science since the mid of 1990s. The new teaching method is distinguished from traditional method in several aspects. The mowt distintion of the new method is that Excel based approach is used in order to model and analyze quantitative problems. Due to the introduction of Excel based teaching method model formulation and interpretation is more emphasized than algorithms. By using this new method students are expected to be more interested in Management Science class and easily use several Management Science techniques in real world problems. Though Excel based teaching method has become more prevalent, there exist no empirical research to analyze the effectiveness of Excel based teaching method. This paper will empirically analyze how effective Excel based teaching method is. For this purpose survey data are collected fro professors teaching Management Science and analyzed by using t-test.
