토성에 따른 삼백초 생육특성과 유효성분 함량 (Growth Characteristics and Available Component of Saururus chinensis Baill in Different Soil Texture)

  • 삼백초(三白草) 재배에 있어서 토성에 따른 생육과 유효성분을 분석하여 안정적인 재배법을 확립하고 고품질 삼백초를 생산하고자 시험을 수행한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가. 삼백초의 절수와 엽수, 분지수는 토성 간 차이가 없었으며, 주당 줄기와 잎의 무게는 사양토가 가장 많고, 양토, 식양토, 사토의 순으로 무거웠다. 직경 5mm이하 뿌리는 토성 간차이가 없었으나, $5.1{\sim}10.9\;mm$의 굵기는 사양토, 양토 그리고 식양토에서 $437{\sim}465\;g$로 차이가 없었고, 11 mm이상은 식양토가 많았다. 건물율은 $19.1{\sim}20.8%$로 차이가 없었다. 나. 잎의 quercetin-glycoside 함량은 양토와 사양토에서 $219.3{\sim}222.4\;mg/100\;g$로 가장 높았으며, quercitrin>rutin>isoquercitrin>hyperin의 순으로 높았다. 줄기는 사토와 사양토가 각각 14.8 mg/100 g과 12.4 mg/100 g로 가장 많았으며, quercetin-glycoside 중 rutin이 가장 높았다. 다. 뿌리의 lignans 함량은 식양토, 양토, 사앙토, 사토의 순으로 높은 경향이었으며, lignans 관련 물질 중 manassatin B가 가장 많았다.

Effect of presoaking degree of lightweight aggregate on the properties of lightweight aggregate concrete

  • This study aimed at exploring the effect of presoaking degree of lightweight aggregate (LWA) on the fresh and hardened properties of concrete. Two series (i.e., Series A and Series B) of concrete mixes that were made of LWA with different moisture states were prepared. The presoaking degree of LWA was divided into three types: oven dry state, 1 hour prewetted and 24 hours prewetted. For the Series A, the water content of the lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC) mixes was adjusted in accordance with the moisture condition of the LWA. Whereas the amount of water added in the Series B mixes was deliberately not adjusted for the moisture condition of the LWA. Slump test, mechanical tests, interfacial transition zone microscopical tests and thermal conductivity test were carried out on the specimens of different concretes and compared with control normal-weight aggregate concretes. The test results showed that the effect of mixing water absorption by LWA with different moisture states was reflected in the fresh concrete as the loss of mixture workability, while in the hardened concrete as the increase of its strength. With the use of oven-dried LWA, the effect of reduction of water-cement ratio was more significant, and thus the microstructure of the ITZ was more compact.

아토피 피부염에 대한 황토가미방(黃土加味方)과 자초복합방(紫草複合方) 겸용 연구 (A Study on Combination of Topical Jachobokhabbang(JBB) and Internal Hwangtogamibang(HTGMB) for the Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis)

  • In order to investigate the efficacy of a combination of JBB as topical and HTGMB as internal treatment method, changes in various immune related factors and histological changes in NC/Nga induced animal model was studied. Combined treatment of topical JBB and internal HTGMB significantly reduced the atopic dermatitis clinical index, the number of immune cells such as CD19+, CCR3+, B220+/IgE+, and Gr-1+/CD11b+ in DLN and dorsal skin, compared to the control group. Otherwise increased CD3+, CD4+/CD25+, CD8+ and CD4+ cells in the DLN. And also combined treatment of topical JBB and internal HTGMB suppressed the lymphocytes and mast cells from infiltrating into the skin tissues when stained with H&E and toluidine blue. Based on the results above, it is strongly suggested that the combined treatment of topical JBB and internal HTGMB significantly induced anti-allergic activities through immune modulation. The findings can be applied to developing a more sustainable treatment for atopic dermatitis and be helpful in practicing combined treatments in clinical treatments in the future.

누진렌즈 디자인에 따른 원거리 대비감도 비교분석 연구 (A Comparative Analysis Study on Distance Contrast Sensitivities According to Progressive Lens Design)

  • 목적: 본 연구에서는 프리폼 누진렌즈와 일반 누진렌즈를 착용 하였을 때 원거리 대비감도에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석 하였다. 방법: 안질환이 없는 성인 20명을 대상으로 원거리 대비감도 검사를 실시하였고 5단계의 공간 주파수를 갖는 F.A.C.T.(Stereo Optical, USA)를 이용하였다. 우안, 좌안, 양안 순서로 프리폼 누진렌즈와 일반누진렌즈 대비감도를 측정하였다. 결과: 우안/좌안/양안 대비감도 검사 값이 A(1.5 cpd) 공간주파수에서는 일반 누진렌즈에 비교하여 프리폼 누진렌즈가 16%/17%/11%, B(3 cpd) 공간주파수에서는 11%/5%/5%, C(6 cpd) 공간주파수에서는 6%/6%/9%, D(12 cpd) 공간주파수에서는 19%/16%/13%, E(18 cpd) 공간주파수에서는 4%/3%/18% 높았다. 결론: 원거리 대비감도의 모든 공간주파수 영역에서 프리폼 누진렌즈가 일반 누진렌즈보다 측정값이 높게 측정되었다.

한국산 가막사리속(Bidens L., 국화과) 수과 형태의 분류학적 검토 (The taxonomic consideration of achene morphology in Bidens L. (Asteraceae) in Korea)

  • The achene morphology of ten taxa (eight species and two varieties) of the genus Bidens L. (Asteraceae) in Korea was studied in detail using the stereo-microscopy (SM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The size of achenes excluding the arista part is $3.0-19.5{\times}0.7-2.6 mm$. The pappus is made up of 2-4 aristae, and the length of arista is 2.2-5.6 mm long. The striations of barb are 1-3. The achene polymorphism is confirmed in six studied taxa (B. bipinnata, B. biternata, B. frondosa, B. parviflora, B. pilosa var. pilosa, B. tripartita var. tripartita). Four types of achene were recognized based on the shape and the number of arista per fruit. - Type A: oblong with two aristae (B. parviflora); Type B: oblong with three or more aristae (B. bipinnata, B. biternata, B. pilosa var. pilosa, B. pilosa var. minor); Type C: obovate with two aristae (B. frondosa, B. radiata var. radiata, B. radiata var. pinnatifida, B. tripartita var. tripartita); Type D: obovate with three or more aristae (B. cernua). Three surface patterns (i.e., spiral, smooth, and irregular straight in parallel) of barb are also distinguished. The achene surface can be recognized into three types (ribbed areolate, smooth, subfavulariate). Systematic implications of achene characters are also briefly discussed. On the basis of the achene characters, a key of Bidens taxa in Korea is provided.

경상남도(慶尙南道) 밀양군(密陽郡) 삼랑진읍(三浪津邑)에 있어서의 간흡충(肝吸虫) 감염실태조사(感染實態調査) (Epidemiological Note on the Clonorchiasis in Samrangjin Eup, Milyang Gun, Kyongsang Nam Do (=province))

  • In order to observe the endemic status of Clonrchis sinensis infection in Samrangjin eup, Milyang gun, Kyongsang nam do, a total number of 294 stool specimens were collected from the inhabitants who lived in the basin of the Nakdong river. The specimens were examined by cellophane thick smear technique and Stoll's egg dilution technique during the period from May to June 1983. The epidemiological status was analysed statistically by the regression equation and catalytic curv with the results obtained from this area. The results are as follows : 1) The infestation rate of Clonorchis sinensis in 294 was 49.0%. 2) No remarkable difference was observed between male (52.5%) and female (44.8%). 3) Average E.P.G. by Stoll's egg dilution technique in this area was 9,597. 4) The degree of the intensity of Clonorchis infection by E.P.G. count was distributed as 10.5% in very heavy infection, 14.7% in heavy infection, 47.4% in moderate infection, and 29.3% in light infection. 5) The intensity of endemicity in this area was represented with the regression equation calculated with the cumulative percentages of E.P.G. counts. Regression equation was y=3.40+1.23 log x and Cs. $D._{50}$ was 19.99. 6) The two stage catalytic model was applied and the calculation lead to the equation $y=1296(e^{-0.008t}-e^{-0.035t})$ ; a=0.035 > b=0.008 in this surveyed area. 7) Other helminthic infection rate in this area was 7.1% in A. lumbricoides, 9.5% in T. trichiura and 4.1% in E. vermicularis respectively.

비오톱의 보전가치 평가도구(B-VAT) 개발과 적용 (The Development and Application of Biotop Value Assessment Tool(B-VAT))

  • The purposes of this research are : to analyze biotop type and carry out conservation value assessment in study areas, Daegu Science Park national industrial complex; to supply basic data for the landscape ecological planning; and to improve the application of assessment model with the development of Biotop Value Assessment Tool (B-VAT). The result is as follows. First of all, the field survey showed 434 species of flora and 220 species of insecta. According to the result of biotop type analysis in the biotop classification system with field survey, 13 biotope groups and 63 biotope types were classified. In the map of biotop type classification, readjusted farmland biotop(FA) was prevalent and forest biotop(E) was shown to the southeast side of the site. Next, according to the first assessment with B-VAT, total 19 biotop types including natural river(BA) with abundant plants had I grade and total 16 biotop types such as vegetable garden adjacent to river(BC) had V grade. In terms of the second assessment, we analyzed total 30 areas, total 82 areas, respectively, which had special meaning for the conservation of species and biotop(1a, 1b) and which had meaning for the conservation of species and biotop(2a, 2b, 2c). This research will be a basic data, which can solve the damage problem systematically and control it landscape-friendly with biotop classification and assessment which we developed. In particular, we expect that biotop value assessment tool(B-VAT) with GIS will be a great contribution to popularity compared with the value model by complicated algorism such as adding-matrix, weight and equal distribution. In addition, this will save the time and improve the accuracy for hand-counting.

  • An auxiliary device, called Post Cyclone (PoC). had been introduced and primarily examined in earlier works which proved the reduction of the emission of fine dust from the gas-solid cyclones without incurring significant increase of cost and pressure drop. It has been known that the PoC has some advantages over other secondary dust treatment devices such as (a) simple design, (b) low cost of manufacture, (c) minimum additional pressure drop, (d) high recoverbility of the product dust, and (e) simplicity of operation. Despite the potential advantage, however, lack of practical data confined its plausible application in wide areas. Thus, in this work, a few serial experiments were conducted in terms of a few operation conditions, and the particle trajectories throughout the cyclone set-up were visually analyzed by using a commercial computer simulation program (FLUENT).

  • The paper represents the results of the development and the test of "cold cathode" ion source model with 5 cm aperture where the glow discharge is utilized for generation of electrons in the cathode of the ion source. The results of probe measurements of the ion source are represented. The integral parameters such as electron energy distribution function(EEDF), electron density and mean electron energy, discharge voltage-current characteristics, and distribution of ion beam were studied.

이중탕(理中湯)이 IgE가 과잉생성되고 피부염이 유발된 NC/Nga생쥐에서 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 반응에 의한 Th2 세포분화 억제에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Li Zhong Tang on the Suppression of Th2 Differentiation by $IFN-{\gamma}$ Response in IgE Hyperproduction and Atopic Dermatitis-like Skin Lesions Induced NC/Nga Mouse)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Li Zhong Tang(LZH-T) on atopic dermatitis by using NC/Nga atopic dermatitis mouse. Methods First, in vitro, we isolated B cells from NC/Nga mouse which induced atopic dermatitis-like skin for 18 weeks. We analyzed FACS by intracellular staining of $IFN-{\gamma}$, GATA-3+ and also analyzed cytokines by using real-time PCR. Secondly, in vivo, after administration of LZH-T to the 12 weeks old mouse with atopic dermatitis. We analyzed serum IgE, $IFN-{\gamma}$ level and observed the changes of activated cell. Results In vitro, LZH-T decreased the levels of CD4+/$IFN-{\gamma}$ and increased the levels of CD4+/GATA3+. In vivo, serum IgE levels were decreased and $IFN-{\gamma}$ levels were increased in LZH-T group compared to the control group. In PBMCs, the percentage of activated cell - granulocytes, CD3+, CD3+CD4+, B220+CD23+, and CCR3+ were decreased and CD19+, CD3+CD8+ were increased in LZH-T group compared to the control group. Conclusions This study demonstrates immunological activity of GPJST on atopic dermatitis-like model mice.
