This paper deals with the SCR thyristor switching characteristics of a 3-phase voltage disturbance generator. The series transformers of the generator require bypass SCR thyristors to provide the source voltage to the output terminal in normal operating mode. The SCR thyristor switching characteristics is quite different according to the connection point to the series transformer. The switching characteristics is analysed and verified through simulation results.

Transposed scan is an innovation that paves the road to ultra-slim CRTs with deflection angles up to 135$^{\circ}C$ We discuss the integration of video transposition with the other video processing functions in the television set. An in-place transposition algorithm which minimizes the amount of frame memory is proposed as a low-cost solution for transposed scan conversion. The difference in visual perception of transposed scan and normal scan depends on the frame rate and the line density of the video format. We found that for high frame rates and high line densities, no difference was perceived for both scan modes.

The present work focuses on preparation of olanzapine, orally dispersing tablets by direct compression method. Effect of super disintegrant crospovidone, disintegration time, drug content on in vitro release has been studied. A factorial design was employed in formulating a prompt dispersible tablet. The selected independent variables crospovidone and fmelt showed significant effect on dependent variables i.e. disintegration time and percent drug dissolved. Disintegration time and percent drug dissolved decreased with increase in the level of crospovidone. The similarity factor $f_2$ was found to be 97.48 for the developed formulation indicating the release was similar to that of the marketed formulation. Pharmacokinetics of olanzapine after single-dose oral administration of orally disintegrating tablet in normal volunteers were evaluated and the results showed that PK parameters (Cmax, Tmax, AUC) of the designed ODT matrix were similar to those of commercial product, Zyprexa Zydis$^{(R)}$ as a reference.

Many data sets obtained from surveys or medical trials often include missing observations. When these data sets are analyzed, it is general to use only complete cases. However, it is possible to have big biases or involve inefficiency. In this paper, we consider a method for estimating parameters in logistic linear models involving non-ignorable missing data mechanism. A binomial response and normal exploratory model for the missing data are used. We fit the model using the EM algorithm. The E-step is derived by Metropolis-hastings algorithm to generate a sample for missing data and Monte-carlo technique, and the M-step is by Newton-Raphson to maximize likelihood function. Asymptotic variances of the MLE's are derived and the standard error and estimates of parameters are compared.

Fretting Wear Behavior and Characteristics were investigated with Inconel 690 tube which is used in Nuclear Power Plant. Fretting Wear Tester has been engaged in the study of characteristics on tube fretted induced to various factors, i.e. vibration amplitude, contact type, material properties load support geometry, environmental effect Test has been performed in air and at room temperature. Wear volume rate has been approximately estimated as a function of normal load.

Mulberry heart disease was associated with vitamin E and selenium deficiency of pigs. Anatomical findings of this disease were hydropericadium, extensive patchy hemorrhage of epicardium, endocardium, and discoloration of dark red color of myocardium. In histological findings were characterized by acute myocardial degeneration, extensive hemorrhage, fibrinoid degeneration of arterioles, PAS positive material deposition of arterioles and capillary thrombosis. In affected herds, feed and serum tocopherol and selenium concentration were less than normal values.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in emotion recognition according to general characteristics of stroke patients. Method: The subjects consisted of 38 stroke patients receiving rehabilitation at S Hospital in Busan. Used the eMETT program to assess emotional cognition. Result: The age and duration of disease showed statistically significant differences in emotion recognition ability score, the gender and lesion showed a statistically significant difference in some emotion(p<.05). Conclusion: The results of this study it can be seen that the difference in emotion recognition ability in accordance with the general characteristics of the stroke. There will be a variety of future research related to standardized research or interventions targeted at stroke patients and normal controls to be carried out.

This investigation describes and analyses the experimental results proper to the penetration of Al5052-H34 alloy plates of thickness 6, 12 and 16mm(T/D＝1, 2, 3) by 5.56mm ball projectiles over the velocity range 350-750㎧. All the high velocity impact tests were carried out at normal impact angle, i.e. zero obliquity. The experimental results presented the variation of depth of penetration, bulge height and diameter, plugged length and diameter with the velocity fur tests on each plate of a given thickness in order to determine the deformation shapes of 5.56mm ball projectiles and targets. Also the protection ballistic limit($V_50$) tests were conducted.

This paper presents a new circular curve fitting approach of articulated manipulators, based on pseudoinverses. The paper aims at gaining the interpolation of circle from n data points, under the condition that the fitted circle should pass both a start point and an end point. In this paper, two algorithms of circular interpolation are presented. Prior to circular interpolation, are a spherical fitting should be performed, using least squares. In the first algorithm, the relationship between point data and normal vector on the sphere is used. In the second algorithm. the equation of plane which can be obtained from 3 points, i.e., a start point, an end point, and center of a sphere. The proposed algorithms are show to be efficient by using MATLAB-based simulation.
